Good value for money. We stayed 1 night and booked an extra night for a late flight. Large room and nice and tidy. Good location from the airport and boardwalk

Door could have better security locks. There are lots of signs about break ins through the balcony but the locks are low quality on the siding doors and main bedroom door. Needs either a bolt lock or a chain lock for extra protection. Rooms need a safe as well if this is an issue. Hallway acoustics are not great but we didn’t have any issues during our stay with noise inside or out during the night.

Got put in an accessible room (not sure why) which had a ramp at the front door but not the balcony door. (Not that we needed it) Shower was a wet room which completely floods when in use and they supply you with a squeegee-broom to remove water (it was massively inconvenient and uncomfortable as everything was lowered and there were no shelves for toiletries) Soap dispenser was empty after day 1 No fly screen door on balcony

Closeness to esplanade and town centre. Good outside pools bbq area. Safe car parking , lift to higher floors especially with suitcases. Good on site restaurant. Quiet and very clean. Fan option as well as air conditioning

A bit tired looking in places and the bathroom floor and shower floor extremely slippery even when small amount of water splashes on it. Non slip mat available for shower but quite small for the area. Signage warns but think better mats or bigger bath mats might help people be a bit safer transferring from shower to bathroom floor

Room 112 was huge and it had a very welcoming feel. The bed was extremely comfortable, the lighting was good, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our one night stay. Having secure off-street parking gave us peace of mind and the direct access from our room to the little garden area was lovely.

The noise from the plumbing in between our room and the adjacent room was VERY loud … especially when the water was being used in their kitchen, and the wall was so thin we could hear their kettle boiling. While it was great to have a ground floor room, we were able to hear every footstep from the room above and hear the chairs up there being constantly moved around. As a consequence of all the unpleasant noise we experienced, we cancelled the stay we’d booked for the end of this week. It’s a pity that when the renovations were done, more attention wasn’t paid to improving/installing soundproofing between the rooms.

Deluxe room was roomy and the bed super comfortable. Hot water lovely and hot. Staff were excellent. Thai restaurant on site which was amazing. Approximately 1.3ks from the city but the walk was lovely along the esplanade.

No facilities for breakfast, no toaster or any plates or bowls, only the kettle, 3 small cups and teaspoons were supplied. We stayed 7 nights and so we went and purchased mugs and bowls to have breakfast in our room. Small refrigerator was acceptable.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We were right next to the elevator, but I never heard it once when inside of the room. All the employees we encountered were lovely and friendly.

The shower didnt have a shower screen, so water went everywhere. This would be fine if more towels or mats were provided. But after 1 shower, the mat is completely drenched and floor still has water on it. Also, more powerpoints, to use the kettle, we had to unplug the TV or the fridge as there was no powerpoint near the kettle.

The 2 bed apartment was a good size - having 2 bathrooms was great. The kitchen and living had everything we needed for our stay. The location was good, a nice walking distance to main town along the foreshore. Also a nice cafe across the road for breakfast.

The main pool was ok, but quite open to view of the main street, could be nicer with more screening plants. The outdoor space/courtyard for the 2 bed apartment was pretty neglected and uninviting - also shared with the next apartment. Could also be improved with better plants/screening.

Loved the spacious unit, the 2 swimming pools, the very helpful staff. Great value for money, buses into town very cheap and frequent, or you can walk. Good convenience stores just up the road.

No toaster in unit. Smelll in cupboard where dishes are stored. Saw mouse droppings there, which we reported to front desk.

Queenslander is a great local hotel, in a good location. It's a bit of a walk to the far southern side of the promenade, but I appreciated the walking. The staff was very friendly and helpful, showing me where to go for food and drinks. The rooms are HUGE and had comfortable beds. The hotel had cold A/C if desired, or you could open the windows. The street was quiet and low traffic. The hotel has BBQs and common areas to use. While I didn't use the pool, it looked nice and clean. The hotel has a restaurant attached for dinner. The breakfast is pretty basic, but there are a few cafes that are close. Overall wonderful stay!

Room and bathroom were spacious, neat and nicely presented without being overly cluttered with furniture, which is good from an accessibility perspective. It was great to have the car park so close to the room.

From a disability perspective, there were two things that weren’t ideal. Firstly, it was difficult to fill the electric jug or a water bottle at the bathroom sink without repeatedly having to refill a teacup as an aid or using the shower head which was a bit messy. Secondly, the tiles in the bathroom are not anti slip (R or P rating) which meant that they were slippery when wet and after/during showering there is a fair amount of water covering the floor because there is limited fall to the drain. Appreciated the squeegee to help alleviate the problem but the tiles are a slippery when wet.
