The room was an adequate size to accomodate two travellers and their luggage. The environment was quiet and fellow occupants and staff were friendly and hospitable. We especially enjoyed having a safe car park space. The location was great - just a couple of blocks from most amenities.

Although the servicing of our room was spasmodic during our stay, we only had to ask the staff to resupply towels etc and it was done so promptly and without prejudice. There was only one frying pan and saucepan provided - an extra item would have been welcome.

Easy to get to from airport and after hours checkin. As others have mentioned the whole place is very tired and in need of a refresh. That's not to say it was dirty, just the type of motel you stay in overnight for a bed and some great aircon. Beds were comfy, water pressure was great, room was clean (but worn) with fresh linen available. Pool didn't look half bad for a dip.

Very very dated and worn. Interior finishings and things like joins and seals were cracked or blackened. In saying that, fans worked well and aircon was lovely on a humid night. Didn't put us off the stay at all for our overnight stopover after a flight!

Staff entered room without permission. We had a room with a bath but no plug. Towel rails kept falling off wall and another rail had a big crack in it. Toiletries, tea/coffee etc were supposed to be replenished daily but weren't at all. Bath was poorly designed & definitely a danger for infirm, elderly or overweight people. 1 very thin blanket /person with no spare. 1 average pillow /person with no spare. Chipped & scraped kitchen table made it seem a bit tacky

New management. Zac was super friendly and accommodating. He straight away offered to swap us from an upstairs room to a downstairs room then told us if we didn’t like the room for any reason he was happy to move us to a different one. Parking was secure & plenty of space (we have a Prado with a rooftop tent that needed opening to dry out).

Rooms definitely need some maintenance and renovating, which Zac acknowledged and they are planning on doing in the near future.

The room we had was quiet at the end of the upper row. There was ample room and the three seater sofa was a bonus. The private balcony overlooking the pool was a good feature and a great place for drying washing. Secure parking was appreciated.

The steps to the upper storey were too narrow and triggered a lot of care in traversing.

The location was good. Only two blocks to the bus stop. The bed was extremely comfortable!

The room needs an update, eg the lampshades are falling apart, the bath is clean, but stained. There is a kitchenette but it’s very basic. Some kitchen utensils would have been useful. The small area outside the room was quite overgrown with weeds.

Comfortable room with all amenities in a quiet location, the room was well maintained and serviced during my stay. Front office service was excellent, which made my stay enjoyable during a challenging time whilst my partner was in Cairns Base Hospital. It was a convenient location within walking distance to the hospital and I had peace of mind leaving my vehicle and knowing it was safe in the car park especially as the gate was closed at nighttime.

Location. Clean. Very comfortable bed. Kitchenette had everything you needed. Easy check-in Friendly Staff. Close to Cairns Hospital and walking distance to Esplanade. Close to airport. Parking free onsite and Gate locked overnight.

It took us a while to work out the air-conditioning when we did it worked well. That what our fault😉

The bed very comfortable, clean kitchenette. The pool looks gorgeous. You can see the fairy lights on the espanade. We even enjoyed the older style bathroom. I will definetly book again.

Sad to see the garden beds looking tired with weeds. The plug for the bath did not fit, water kept running out of the plug hole, you can hear it.
