The Waterfront Terraces were close to place to eat you could walk and it's a nice walk in and out to the center of town. You can catch an uber or bus if you like or drive up to you. The accommodation had everything you need oven, cook top and microwave. Alos provided dryer and washing machine, some cooking pot and microwave dishes, cutlery is also provided. dishwasher two tables and washing up liquored and powder for the washing machine. all bedding material as well the staff are friendly and helpful to everyone.

Good location on the Esplanade not too far from the CBD. Great knowledgeable staff and very good value. Plenty of onsite parking. Ground floor rooms available. Well set up kitchen and laundry. Suitable for an extended stay.

The pool was far too warm.

Great location. The pool was really nice. We were in a 2 bed apartment on 3rd floor. Had 2 completely separate bedrooms with sep open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. Good shower. Also had separate laundry with washer, dryer and laundry tub. Large wardrobes in both bedrooms. Was really spacious overall. Had private balcony. Staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely stay again. Bus stop 8 minutes walk, don't need a car if staying here as bus service easy. There is car parking on site, all undercover. I decided that I prefer apartments like this as find daily servicing a bit inconvenient. We stayed for 10 days and just washed our own towels and sheets etc. Vacuum and mop etc provided in apartment and they did offer to do a service part way through our stay but we didn't require this. Apartment even had dishwasher.

Some of the buttons on the TV remote didn't work very well but not sure if they were aware of this so I left them a note.

Value for money is the winner here! Property manager were friendly and welcoming and whole booking and stay was stress free. 2 bdr apartment was spacious and clean with everything we needed for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Top floor views were great with a nice balcony. Lush tropical gardens and nice pool. Although pool was warm due to no shade but to be expected this time of year in the tropics (Dec). We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Stair access only for above ground floor. Not a problem for us but if there is mobility issues would need to ask for a ground floor apartment.

All appliances were working well.The beds were comfortable. Heather the lady in reception was excellent. Early check in was given to us - we checked in at 9.30 am - with no additional charge. Also, we were able to add in an additional person to our booking after the original booking, with a minimal charge per night! We were able to leave our luggage on the last day at 8.45 until 4.30 with no charge. It’s not right in the centre of town, but a 20 min walk along the esplanade took you into the town and to the lagoon.

There was a lover shutter ‘window’ between the kitchen and the second bedroom- this was not ideal as there was limited privacy, and the noise from the lounge/kitchen area travelled easily between areas.

It was great! It had everything I needed for a good holiday while still feeling independent. I don't like a big hotel because it doesn't feel homely, but waterfront terrace was great for that, I felt like I had my own place that was home. All the machines worked great, the aircon was awesome, the bathroom was great too. The perfect place to stay for a young couple, and for a good price.

Location was good- not too close to city centre, so therefor a little quieter….. only a 20 min walk and if your not up for the walk, only $10 with uber…. Which were never longer than 7 mins wait

Facilities were great- bbq, pool, gardens and location. The actual apartment was great- everything we needed and great view 👍👍

Reception very helpful with bookings for day trips. The pool and surroundings very clean and enjoyable for swimming. Nice view of the esplanade walkway from our apartment at the second floor level. Quiet area of the city but easy to walk to Muddies cafe along the waterfront. Excellent Thai restaurant over the road. Peaceful at night. Simple process to bus to main shopping centre, every 15 minutes.

Approx 1.5 k from central cairns/ lagoon. Midway between airport and town centre. Great location if you don’t mind a good walk, or have a car. No lift- so 2 flights if you are on the upper( second) floor in the 2 bed apartment.

The sleeping arrangements suited our group so we could all be together in the same apartment. It was good having the fridge to keep drinks cold and the carton of milk supplied which was nice.

There wasn’t enough toilet room for the size of our group, luckily the office was manned at the time and they were more than happy to give us more.
