We stayed in the ‘sea view apartment’. Very nice view for our floor 2. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment and dish washer. Two bed rooms with two bath rooms were handy. Big tv in both rooms, master and living room.

The garage shoot on every floor was smelly but once the window in the foyer was open for ventilation, there was no lingering smell. The 2nd bathroom smelled when not used for sometime. keeping the door closed helped and running the water helped.

The location was fantastic. The apartment was cozy and clean. The lady at the reception was very friendly. I liked that there was a welcome pack of washing up and laundry detergent facilities made available.

The Wi-Fi was very poor and then one evening didn’t work at all but the lady at reception help us connect to a different Wi-Fi the next day so that was good. Some of the facilities are outdated. For example, the bathrooms do not have vents. The showers are really good but quite low and the air conditioning can only be used in either the bedrooms or the living area not both at the same time.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with seaview and we also had mountain view along with two balconies , The apartment was across from the foreshore gardens where the trees lining the path were led lit every night ,the unit was 900 m walk to Muddies where we generally had breakfast and abour 5 minute drive from the airport and 10 min to town centre. One roo had a queen and the other 2 single beds . We had a toilet shower general bathroom and the queen room had a spa toilet ensuite . ther kitchen and lounge was very accommodating to 4 plus people with generous seating available and large kitchen with full oven ,microwave , fridge,dishwasher, top stove , etc.The balcony overlooked the pool and spa area downstairs. The staff were very helpful and the rooms clean on arrival and cool with air conditioning , The underground parking and lift was accessible via keyand key fob and marked with room number .

The spa and sauna were not operating for the full time of our week stay .Balconies on the sea side only had seats for 2 but taking the table seats we were able to use the balcony for evening coffee.

Very helpful staff. They switched us to a new room as we were unhappy with the original room. They did it quickly and professionally. The location was very good. The recommendations for meals were spot on. Odettets for breakfasts and the restaurant next door to the left on the Esplanade for evening meals were both fantastic. Really good location with locked basement parking. We arrived late in the evening and were sent a text on how to enter the building. It would of been a bit more helpful to know where the lake street entrance was exactly eg say the number or driveway right before cairns hospital as there is not a lot of lighting and it was raining quite heavily.

Our second room was reasonably clean except for some details like ceiling lamps and air conditioning vents. The first room really needed a good scrub as there was quite a bit of mould and general ick . We spoke to the manager, who said she would ensure this was seen too. Besides that, some things could do with a paint or switch out of worn and dated furniture and fittings.

Excellent ocean view & of the Esplanade foreshore. Great walking paths & exercise equipment opposite. Central to nearby eateries & easy walk into city centre. Underground car parking as well las rear entrance upper-level short term drop off or pick up. Large apartment suited to a family. With air con on no street noise & generally not much traffic sound as very reduce speed limit. Right next door to Cairns Hospital so very suited to visiting hospitalized family. Staff friendly & obliging - willing to assist any queries. Overall excellent stay.

Couple of minor screw driver fixes, which I'm sure has been attended to after mentioning. Built in cupboards - heaps of hanging rails in both bedrooms - an advantage would be free standing set of shelves to at least put clothes somewhere. Bedside drawers hold very little.

The apartment was light and spacious and with a beautiful view over the Esplanade and water. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The pool and tropical gardens were lovely. The managers Lily and Brad were exceptional - they were so helpful and friendly and pleasant.

The apartment was tired and in need of a spruce up. There was a broken chest of drawers that was unusable, the carpets were frayed, the second bathroom toilet seat was stuck together with tape. There was no chopping board in the kitchen but Lily kindly brought one up to us.

Our apartment (#13) was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It had two bedrooms with gorgeous ocean views, two bathrooms, one with a spa and the other with a walk in shower. Separate dining and living areas, a nice kitchen and proper laundry room. It was on the third floor (I have a fear of lifts failing and having to walk up so 3 was perfect, but with twin lifts the chance of having to do that was small.) There was a garbage chute opposite our door so no big deal getting rid of kitchen scraps, and a recycling bin in the basement carpark. The carpark is secure with allocated spots, and the grounds are gorgeous, especially the huge tropical pond in the front garden. There is a wonderful restaurant next door, Floriana Mediterranean Restaurant, set in a stunning Art Deco building, with fabulous food that I would happily have paid double what we were billed for, as well as two cafes with a block of the complex. It is a 15 minute walk into the shopping and arts district, and I can highly recommend the Art Gallery, Cairns Museum and the Aquarium 😊

Not much! The pool isn’t heated but there is a spa (not working unfortunately) and sauna? (We didn’t find it but there are signs indicating it exists). Because the apartment is next door to the hospital there are occasional emergency helicopter landings, exciting to watch, and I slept through the night time ones (the sound proofing is great!) but my travel companion did not, so I guess light sleepers may find this an issue

Have stayed at this property several times before. This time the location was a primary reason as the purpose of our trip was to visit Cairns hospital. The caretaker/reception has always been friendly & helpful. The unit functions well although a few handy items could be added to the kitchen supplies eg. oven mits. The pool is refreshing & kept clean. The lush tropical garden is constantly maintained. This property is good value for it's location at a quite end of the Esplanade.

Lily was excellent. She helped out when we had a few issues in the unit and was prepared to assist us if we needed accommodation for an extra day when our flight was cancelled. The shower in the second bathroom was great. Having a washing machine and dryer was excellent.

The internet in the unit was on again off again. The spa bath in the main bathroom leaked from the tap.. The shower part had curtains around it which only made water flow from that area to the floor.

The apartment that we were allocated had lovely views over the ocean. Was next door to the public hospital which was needed during our visit. There was a lovely walk path along the waterfront and if fit enough could take you right up to Cairns Central Shopping. There also were a number of close cafes within walking distance of the apartment. Also there was a tavern close by. It was very easy to enter and leave parking from the apartment. Staff were very friendly and co-operative
