Friendly staff at the desk,helpful and easy,fast accommodation. Breakfast is good,place is quiet / clean./ healthy food and lots of choices.The views from the room are scenic,beautiful,stunning overlooking at the esplanade and the stillness of the water.Amazing ,i liked it and enjoyed it immensely.Highly recommended .Reasonable price.

Why charlie's restaurant is closed.?? It could have been better if it was open .Security is ok but not physically visible and open that there is security guard on the move to be seen by many .This is for the peace of mind,security of the people especially guests who are coming into this hotel for the first time whether local or foreign.There is still room for improvement although minor.

Nice view towards the north, convenient location on the edge of the city. The hotel was good value for money, tokqhe staff were all very friendly and the building airconditioning was definitely working full bore, a welcome relief from the tropical heat outside.

the whole hotel is non-smoking including on balconies. This was the first time either my partner or I had encountered this, meaning that my partner had to go downstairs and across the road if he wanted to smoke. The hotel seems to be under the flight path, something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper as Cairns airport does not have a noise abatement curfew. The building exterior is looking very dated and old but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

I didn't have breakfast there, I slept in. However my stay there were satisfied and I would let others know to choose this hotel. It's in the heart of the city with a beautiful location

I didn't like bathroom as there were no vent and we had to always put spray or perfume I the bathroom as I have asthma, I could smell the perfume when went in the bathroom. Also thee were people upstairs who kept making noise and were being loud but then they were dealt with which was good later became quieter.

Views ,buffet breakfast, great value, and close to cbd

The pool area tiles lifting up and broken could be hazardous. Cut someone, I'm a tiler, some advice, remove those broken tiles near the pump house on the pool side and fill it up with sanded cement for a temporary fix or water will keep going under rest of them lift up ,I'm not complaining I enjoyed my time been at your hotel twice in 6 months just concerned for young children might cut their feet 😉

The pool was nice. I liked the balcony. The on-site restaurant was a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I only have one complaint about the room. It would have been nice if the room had a microwave in it. They probably don't think the room needs a microwave because of the restaurant, but in saying that, I used the restaurant for dinner, I had leftovers that I couldn't eat, I asked for a container to put it in, which they nicely gave me. I was going to heat it up later that night but there was no microwave. Other than that, everything else was good.

The room was of exceptional size, the location is very convenient being close to the city centre and on the main esplanade. We were given a room upgrade and offered amazing views. For what was offered, the price was very reasonable.

The room could have been cleaner and was quite dated. The outside appearance was a bit of a letdown and the lack of secure parking posed some concern, and the onsite restaurant could be better utilised as a steakhouse and bar to bring more people.

The property was a close walk to the esplanade and a good 5 minute drive to the CBD. Closest to the hospital (Good thing we didnt need any trip there). There was always a parking space just behind the hotel or outside parking too. Staff were accomodating. Daily toiletries and towel supplied.

We noticed a slow internet connection since one of our group came internationally and needed the wifi connection esp at night. The building and room interior looks old but was kept clean all throughout our stay.

The view from the room was amazing overlooking the ocean. It was a full moon that night as well - spectacular. A bit of a walk to the main part of cairns i.e. night markets but if you are a walker, not a problem when walking along the Esplanade - take in the view as you go. Sunrise also fantastic!

Being lactose intolerant I have to source it for dietary needs for my hot beverages so a deal with a local cafe to get a hot cuppa would be fantastic in the mornings.

Really just power points near beds i suffer sleep apnea and i had to buy an extention lead so i could use my machine and just a segestion should put a power double point near the beds pick the power from the airconditiner swith wouldnt be that expensive and maybe a clock radio .

You have to walk around 20 min to reach the city centre. But you will enjoy the way along the sea coast. The room was large and comfortable and the ocean view was magnificent and unforgettable. The restaurant looks little bit decent, but there is sufficient choice of food.

Wireless internet connection in the room was bad. You have to be around reception desk to rely on it.
