Close to the beach and shops in Palm Beach.

There was little communication prior to arrival. No information in the property for things to do/see in Palm Beach. We asked about pool towels in advance but were told they only provide bath towels. Would be good to include in the information as there is access to a pool (and it is great!).

The apartment had everything you could possibly need in it, particularly the kitchen. The amount of space was surprisingly roomy, no one felt on top of one another. We really enjoyed the huge balcony. The view was brilliant and the location was exactly what we were after - close enough to go to the beach and shops on foot. The basement car space was the largest I've seen on the Gold Coast! Very helpful if you're on crutches or have trouble parking in tight spaces. The unit was accurately described in text on bookings.com.

The only truly bad thing were the glass sliding doors to the balcony. They were so heavy and the wheels did not work, so opening the doors was a real effort. My husband or son had to do it for me after I hurt myself trying to open them. I don't know how the elderly would manage. On the minor side, our apartment needed a makeover to look like the pictures on the website. Although adequate and comfortable, our unit had older /worn furniture in it. In saying that, the beds felt and looked new and certainly the master bed was wonderfully comfortable :) And the TV's were new!

Very good location. Many eateries and grocery store within walking distance. Beach very close. Great pool and BBQ area. Many info brochures in the games room. Staff is lovely.

Lift kept breaking down but was always up and running within a couple hours.. Only one AC in dining area to cool whole apartment. Games area was fun but pool table and cues were in very bad condition. I was unlucky to not get comfortable bed covers.. Reminded me of a tea towel.. Only had 1 bin bag for whole week and 2 spare toilet rolls.. (one in each bathroom)..

Only a short drive from the Airport (10mins) & Coorumbin Wildlife sanctuary (5mins). Not as built up with high riser buildings as Surfers Paradise (30mins drive down the road). The beach is only a 2 minute walk away. Plenty of varied eateries, again all within easy walking distance, for those not wanting to use the in-room well equipped kitchen (supermarket nearby for those who do). Secure underground parking onsite. However frequent public transport buses available right outside for those without a car.

Not much to dislike about Beach Palms Apartments. If I had to nit-pick only 2 things come to mind - both are fairly insignificant. 1st would probably like air conditioning into the bedrooms. The ceiling fans in these rooms were sufficient during my stay, but rooms always felt warm. 2nd is plumbing. If someone is using a shower, and water is used elsewhere, it affects the shower in use. You have to remember though, these are apartments, not a hotel,

Constant road noise, unable to sleep Windows did not block noise. Picture does not show construction of new high rise right in front of beach view and noise from construction. Many new high rise being built nearby

Good location in Palm Beach, in the quieter southern end of the coast. A very short walk to the beach, with very little people. Nice cafes and restaurants within close walking distance, as well as a Coles and bottle-o. Surf club only 100m away. Pool was somewhat heated, making it a pleasant swim, and apartment complex wasn’t busy.

Furniture was quite dated, and no proper couch. Some road noise from highway.

The location was fabulous. Parking onsite was easy to access as was the lift to the level we stayed on. The accommodation was clean and tidy and exactly as described.

The internet seemed quite intermittent, but this could have been due to the weather in the area - which was extreme at times.

The location was excellent, to see the beach so close & just one block away was excellent. I went for a walk on the beach to feel the sand between my toes & get some grounding happening. Loved it. So good for the soul!

The lift was out of order & I was on the 4th floor. I had 2 bags to carry upstairs, am asthmatic, had 2 knee replacements so going up & down the stairs was a bit of a problem, but I did manage it even though by the second floor, I was struggling for breath..

Unit 27 has beach views far to the north and south. The apartment is modernised and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful when we had a problem with the modem. The kitchen and living areas are very spacious. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, and a coles supermarket. There was no traffic noise, just the sound of the crashing waves. We had a perfect gold coast weekend.

Great location for beach swimming, close to Palm Beach Surf Club, lots of restaurants & dining options to choose from. Convenient for all services. Well equipped kitchen and laundry in super clean apartment. Very comfortable beds. Views were absolutely stunning and could see from Surfers to Coolangatta. Great for whale watching season. This apartment was a welcome surprise and would stay again.
