Great location near the beach and restaurants. We had one of the apartments on the ground floor with direct access to the pool, spa and bbq and a large wrap around balcony which was fantastic. Full kitchen, smart TV and modern washer and dryer. Secure parking and building access. The room is relatively quiet considering the location and very spacious. Lots of storage and a great spot for a family to stay.

The main bedroom is big enough for a Queen bed which would make a big difference for two tall people. A week in a double bed was difficult. Just small things need refurbing (new paint, better bathroom shower head) and proving more than 4 glasses, 4 plates etc. would be helpful as I felt like we were constantly washing up - although there’s a dishwasher only two tablets are provided and it would have felt like a waste to put on the dishwasher after every meal anyhow. Ditto for providing two small soaps, two toilet papers etc. we probably could have asked for more but when you are booked in for a week it would be nice to have that considered as part of setting up the room.

We appreciated having a 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor that had direct access to the pool and BBQ area which was great during our stay in a quiet period (which may be an issue for some guests at busier periods when lots of other hotel guests are using the heated pool/spa and BBQ). Host Paul was very friendly and helpful and attentive to our needs during our 6 day stay. Having a designated carpark in a locked garage was great and the facilities were clean and spacious for our family.

There were no blinds in the bathroom to stop the light coming in during the night through the diffused glass brick wall into the main bedroom, so an eye patch is required if darkness is required for sleeping. Bedroom 2 was OK.

Location was great, close to shops, the beach and the marina. We had room 24 which is advertised as a two bedroom apartment with rooftop. The view from the rooftop was also amazing and included a spa and BBQ. The hosts were friendly and the apartment was very clean.

A few downsides the apartment was very small so any more than 3 people and you would struggle. No door on the main bedroom just pull across shutters. 1 main bathroom which was also very small. Shower was inside a spa bath so if you are older you could struggle to get in and out. From all photos we assumed we had a spiral staircase to our private roof top however this particular apartment you had to climb the internal firestairs to get up to the roof. Also no shade facilities on the roof which was disappointing. Also beware the parking situation is tight, especially for park number 24.

The caretakers of the hotel Paul & Jacqui were so kind and helpful. Rooms were clean, kitchen was well equipped with working scissors, knives etc. As a mom of a toddler, things like this are very important to make meals for kiddo and I got everything I need and they were all functional. The tub came with non slip mat. The hot water gets hot quickly enough you dont have to play with the knobs to get the right temperature. It was a breeze. Allocated parking made it easy too.

The room was a bit small but still a great place to stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful couple running Aegean. Location is excellent, walking distance to everything you could need. Stones throw from the beach and I'm sure the ocean view rooms are stunning.

If you are sensitive to light at night I suggest brining an eye mask (roman blind style in bedrooms lets in a lot of street light - seems to be a thing everywhere we have stayed in Sunshine coast).

Aegean apartments are in a great location 2 minute walk from the beach. The facilities are fabulous with the pool, spa and bbq facing the sun all day. The managers are very friendly and nothing was a problem. Location perfect, given it is virtually adjacent to surf club, beach, shops and eateries. Secure car park and ease of unloading/loading cars was terrific. Staff were very hospitable, cheery and willing to help.

We opted for a walk in shower, which limited range of views on offer. Whilst we had a balcony and nice view over marina, we would suggest choosing a room which faces east/north to make the most of the sunlight and views on offer. Noise from pesky motor cyclists and knuckleheads in loud cars was a nuisance at times, but it did not spoil our stay.

Location - accessibility to the beach and the local eateries is superb. Facilities were excellent and in good working order. Staff were very helpful. Amenities in the apartment were really good (was able to prepare a Christmas lunch with everything that was available in the apartment without any issues). Ground floor apartment with access to the swimming pool was excellent especially with little kids.

TV could be a bit more modern (minor detail)

Fantastic location, close to absolutely everything you could need either dining out or short walk 500m to Coles if no car. Travelling with young ones you can't pack everything Aegean had buckets and spades for the beach as well as boggie boards and surfboard to grab and use which was awesome.

Some appliances could do with being updated, however everything still worked.

I just think any place U stay at, that's near a beach or in a touristy area, is going to make a tough job for managers and cleaners to keep consistently clean, and so I have to wholeheartedly commend these people for such a great effort to present it so well. Also their attitude and helpfulness was tremendous. The rooms within were generally quiet and the place felt quite safe to live in. Good variety of food options nearby as was the public transport.
