There is nothing not to like about this property The location is exceptional, a block from 4 mile beach, sitting on Macrossan Street and all the restaurants and shops. The deluxe apartment was well laid out with a balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The real treasure at this property is Ken, the owner of this property. His interest and kindness towards his guests is wonderful. He is full of local information, recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. He genuinely cares and is interested in his guests Ken, made our stay an exceptional experience. I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again

Shower in the bathroom has beautiful white tiles on floor. This is nice but very slippery and no and bars on wall. There is no elevator on property, but there are ground floor rooms

Fabulous location, close to the beach, and restaurants/cafes/coffee...being right on Macrossan. The beach was just a few steps away....but more importantly the pool was salt water chlorinated, and a great temperature, greenery all around. The accommodation is also "no children". Water and ice machine available all the time. Colin and Ken were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Gardens were well kept, and entertainment was the black grumpy fish in the pond greeting everyone...and also trying to find the little frog each day.

The location is superb.....we could walk to the beach, the harbour and all the shops and restaurants in minutes. After a day of exploring the area the pool was a welcome place to relax and refresh. The room had EVERYTHING we could possibly need including a great hairdryer....so often lacking in other places we have stayed in. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean; the shower had great pressure and there was plenty of hot water. We would not hesitate in recommending this gem of a hotel to friends and family.....it really was a superb find.

This was a great place to stay. The location is especially good, easy walking distance to the main shopping / restaurant area but quiet as well. The room was very clean and comfortable with a generous amount of space. It was well equiped. You can make your own meals there if you like. The pool area was very attractive and well maintained. The host Ken was a very nice person to meet. He was helpful and informative about the area. He was very welcoming, friendly and jovial to talk to.

Very Welcoming. Beach chairs available to take to the beach which was just a minutes walk away, a selection of reading books available to use, Beautifully manicured, well kept gardens which were a pleasure to walk through and admire. Clean relaxing shaded outdoor seating area and lovely pool. So close to beach and also to all the cafes, shops restaurants but still managing to be peaceful. Room was roomy with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. The whole place had a lovely Mediterranean vibe. Ken and Colin are fab, full of local knowledge and super friendly.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation! It was so clean, the gardens were stunning. The pool was so nice, perfect spot to relax on the banana lounges to read in the sun. In the most perfect location - 2 minute walk to 4 Mile Beach, and 10 minute walk to the marina down the Main Street. Both Ken and Colin were so kind and helpful, perfect hosts! They coordinated and booked our amazing tours to the Daintree and Barrier Reef, recommended fabulous eating locations and activities to do in Port Douglas.

Quiet, clean, good facilities. Lots of nice touches (i.e. Umbrellas provided, a must at this time of year). Really nice welcome from Colin, who gave us lots of good information and tips. A shout out to Ruth who cleans the rooms - great job! Nicely situated within walking distance of all shops and the beach. A real shame we couldn’t have stayed longer…

Lovely spacious apartment, very clean and bright. Ken and Colin are lovely hosts that really look after their guests. They provided us with great recommendations and information about the place and nearly attractions. Everything is thought from spare sun cream, umbrellas for guests to use, beach chairs to borrow, books free to borrow etc. Fab location with cafes, shops and restaurants a short stroll away

The location is superb, adjacent to the main shopping and dining street in Port Douglas and an easy walk to the beach. Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and well laid out. The kitchen had sufficient equipment to prepare a light meal. Ken was very welcoming and helpful. Underground parking is included and is very convenient. Ken booked a delightful food tour of the tablelands for me.

Everything was great. The pool wasn't useable due to water contamination following heavy tropical rains however this was unavoidable just disappointing.
