Ridgemill Estate is a delightful winery with bed and breakfast cabins. It is our third time staying and we can say our experience was again exceptional. The views from the well appointed cabin is so picturesque over looking the vines, hills and grazing cows and goats. Quality MOR products for use is a generous and thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the toast and condiments, tea and fresh milk, fresh apple juice , apples and chocolate. We particularly like that the fire was set up with kindling and fire starters so we could get a warning fire going easily . The complimentary wine was much appreciated.A tasting at the winery given by the friendly and knowledgeable staff was very informative and thoroughly recommended!

It would be lovely if there was another fire place in the tasting room as the one small fireplace only allows limited seating near it. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for another wonderful experience at your excellent accommodation.

What a fabulous 2-night stay at Ridgemill Estate Winery. My only negative was that our time there was too short, and we would have liked more time to explore everything the region had to offer. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff members at the reception area, and we both keenly eyed off the wine tasting area, both agreeing that that experience was a must-do. The atmosphere already had a welcoming and positive vibe, setting us up for the entire experience. The accommodation was excellent, luxurious, stylish, clean, and practical, including everything we needed for our stay. The fireplace kept the interior warm and cosy, and there was an abundance of firewood to keep it stoked. It was also lovely to sit outside on the veranda and appreciate the beautiful scenery as well as the serenity. The mountains, vineyards, goats, and nearby cattle grazing in the adjacent paddocks provided the perfect backdrop for us while we sipped on a delicious bottle of red from Ridgemill’s Cellar Door. The apples were a lovely touch, too. We thoroughly enjoyed and savoured the delicious Estate Grazing Platter that had been ordered before our arrival and was already waiting for us in the refrigerator upon our arrival at the cabin. What a great start! We loved the bread and the provided spreads, which were part of the continental breakfast. Exploring the area was a must, and we visited Ballandean, stopping off at Anna's Candles for a sensory experience and also Heavenly Chocolate, a must for chocolate lovers, which also serves excellent coffee. The Blue Pot Pantry and Café was a pleasant surprise and a quaint find for lunch. It is a hidden gem providing country cooking with beautiful country views to match. Tara, from Ridgemill Estate, guided us through the wine tasting experience. She was friendly, had a wealth of knowledge, and was very helpful when we were selecting our favourite wines to take back home, although a few bottles didn’t make it.

The location was perfectly situated, close to downtown Stanthorpe and not far from Giraween National Park, as well as other vineyards. It was brand new, had a large comfortable bed, clean, everything was designed with great care to please the guest. Reverse cycle air conditioner as well as the fireplace was wonderful, kindling and firewood set to light. Fresh bread for the morning, juice and complimentary wine. BBQ on the deck overlooking the grapevines against the sunset. Friendly goats and cows made it a very happy experience. I would advise arriving before dark to acknowledge the peaceful surroundings.

I loved everything

Everything! Arriving to a clean,.comfy cabin with all the essentials already provided. We spent days, day-tripping and evenings around the fire with a wine after using the BBQ facilities for dinner with local meat & cheese / pizzas from a trip to the big apple & stanthorpe cheese. Waking up to the friendly animals and gorgeous, well-kept surrounds - perfect! Kids loved they could grab a cup of goat food and go feed them daily. It was safe for the kids to walk around, enjoy a game of totem tennis too.

The property is situated in a beautiful rural location with nature all around. It was in easy driving distance to town and tourist destinations. Having light activities on site was a bonus too- feeding goats, interacting with friendly cattle, walking freely around the property, outdoor games and wine tasting all easily accessible. There was undercover car parking for our vehicle and the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue. We also enjoyed being able to light our first fire for the cooler season, which gave an extra feeling of comfort and coziness. Even the small persimmon patch with cattle grazing amongst the trees and against and the light of the sunset was truly delightful to see.Super!

The extra blanket needed a wash. Perhaps a larger table on the deck of the cabins, however we were able to easily move small table in the cabin to the deck and back again after we’d finished. Another fold out suitcase holder would be helpful too.

We loved the location and that we could bring our dog.

The cabins are fitted with reverse air conditioning and a fire place, however the cabins were very cold, especially the bathroom and the kitchenette, as the floors are tiled. I was surprised to see a sign in the kitchen that if the dishes were not done and the rubbish taken out, that there would be a $20 fee! I thought for a nightly rate of $240 that sort of thing would have been part of the accommodation. Just my observation!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was stunning with beautiful scenery all around. The staff were amazing—so friendly and welcoming. The cabins were elegant, spacious, and so thoughtfully designed, offering a real sense of luxury while still being great value for money. The complimentary wine and chocolates were such a thoughtful touch, and the breakfast basket was absolutely adorable. The animals were just the cherry on top—so much to love here! We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway

Very comfortable cabins in a great location. We travelled as a family with 12yr and 11yr old daughters. We slept on a king size bed and the girls slept on the double sofa bed, all very comfortable. Cosy cabins with a nice fireplace to keep us warm. We stayed for two days, and had planned to eat out for lunch and dinner. The property is only 5 mins from Stanthorpe. A continental breakfast is included with a nice loaf of bread from the local bakery with facilities to make tea and coffee. The complimentary bottle of red wine was a very nice touch and welcome after a long drive!! It was a very peaceful property, with friendly goats for the kids to feed. We love this region and would happily stay there again. We highly recommend.

What a beautiful place. The cabins are wonderful with a very comfortable king bed, small but functional kitchen and well laid out bathroom. Reverse cycle air conditioning was great and the wood combustion heater was a real bonus. Even undercover parking which was unexpected but welcome in -2 degree weather. The grounds were well kept and lovely to look out over the fields including the dam and the animals.

I would have liked to see under-floor heating in the bathroom. I'm always surprised that this is not standard in new-builds in locations subject to extreme cold. The continental breakfast supplied was adequate but not inspiring.

I like bed the personal touches of the staff. Their communication was prompt and helpful. The fire was already lit in our cabin where arrived. The complementary bottle of wine was much appreciated by my husband. We also enjoyed a free tasting of their delicious wine range. The cabin was spotless and immaculate. He supplied breakfast food was a great bonus.

There was nothing we did not like.
