Pretty much everything

Smokers ... correctly outside their room(s) ... but talking (I assume on their mobiles). Whilst I assume it can't really be policed, there should be a curfew ... on the grounds of courtesy and respect. Also, on the Saturday night ... about 10:15pm ... someone in another room was playing the trombone! We don't think it was someone watching a movie. Again, I don't think that any noise abatement laws were breached, but again, with rooms all being next to each other, any noise resonates like it's inside a house!

Everything was better than many country motels we've stayed in. As a judge of Tourism Awards in a past life I've judged a lot of tourism facilities over the years and it's clear that management are not trying to reduce everything to the cheapest available. Incredibly spacious room. Quality towels & linen. Beautifully clean. Very comfortable beds & pillows with contemporary styling. A spa bath that worked well. Every little thing you need in a motel room, right down to the kettle, the toaster and the corkscrew - just in case you have a bottle of Italian Pinot Grigio with a cork in it, as did I! Even facility for us to park a second car & trailer off-street. Congratulations Country Gardens Motor Inn. Keep it up. You're killing the competition.(⁠•⁠‿⁠•⁠)

excellent beds plenty of extra blankets and pillows ,bathroom facilities very good . excellent position for access to hospitals as we come to toowoomba for specialists not available at Kingaroy. has been the best one out of our previous ones we have stayed at and will be making this one our prefferred stay over, also now aware of room service for future use

the tiny step into the bathroom caught me out first time then was ok after that

clean large room with modern experience. strong hot water. the walls are brick and not so thin that i can hear the neighbour breath which is an issue in some motels. parking is spacrious and easy. lovely garden features. has a sense of privacy even if a motel. even though on a corcer the positioning of the build separates you from the traffic or any noise of that. two entries which ease traffic flow , from to back driveway. pretty and comfy in a sea of mediocre motels, dark block out curtains, good for sleeping late, and light and brigh feel so there is no dingy motel vibes

Management is so welcoming, felt like a second home. Place is super family friendly, the loft room had ample plus more room for our family of 5 and all the kitchen/cooking equipment I was able to make meals instead of eating out every night. Absolutely will book in again as we go to Toowoomba regularly. Just EPIC!!

nothing to not like

The room was really spacious. Well appointed little kitchenette area with a microwave, little cook top/oven and fridge. Bathroom had a shower and necessary toiletries in pump containers. We requested a quiet room and they kindly placed us at the back of the motel, set away from the main road. The motel is set in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. The cost per night was excellent compared to many other similar motels. Walking distance to the local hotel where we enjoyed a delicious meal. We will certainly stay here again in the future.

Room was comfy, close to amenities, bed was comforable, there was a couch and breakfast table and a separate desk. The bathroom soap shampoo and conditioner were all in pump packs on the walls. Plenty of coffee and tea for two days. The Reception staff member was informative and helpful and made a great breakfast too.

The front door was hard to pull shut and could probably do with a door stop bracket to stop it blowing closed in the wind. Otherwise everything was ok.

Friendly staff. Loved our early check in. Room was clean and great size .We felt very safe and it was very quiet. Comfy lounge and good size table and chairs. Bathroom was spacious. Great spa.

Would of liked the crockery and cutlery on a tray rather than placed on the wooden shelf inside cupboard.

Really comfy bed and pillows, spa bath worked perfectly, room bigger than I thought it would be!

The only issue which isn't anything you can fix really, I could hear the neighbours toilet flush pretty loudly! No other noise heard like chatting or TV only the flush but was unexpected!

The location is excellent because unlike a lot of motels I was never aware of noisy traffic even though it was a Saturday night. The staff were very friendly and the bed really comfy.

The rooms are a bit dated and one of the bedlamps in my room was flickering as though there might have been an electrical fault.
