In past have notmally paid on arrival. They took it out my bank the day before ( but hadnt asked if we were paying for breakfast or not ) So on arrival still had to do 2 more transactions on card. (Breakfast and room deposit) should have been 1 transaction on arrival not 3 teansactions over 2 days) Annoyed had to pay a deposit when have booked here before and let room on check out upon arrival as it was found Good customers shouldn't be hassled with deposits that take weeks to paid back in my bank

This was the second time we've stayed there and it was just as comfy as the first. We love the service there and only a 5 minute walk to the main shopping centre so its right in the centre of where you want to be. We even got a chance to try out the restaurant this time and the food was delicious and the all you can eat breakfast was well priced. And just as a little bonus this hotel has little packets of cookies in the rooms on the coffee cups that are the yummiest cookies and come from a company that hires special needs people, which is just a big bonus knowing that they support small local businesses.

Our room was comfortable and spacious

Room 501 was very smokey when we checked in. We opened up the balcony door which helped. We asked if housekeeping could spray our room with air freshener when they serviced the room. This didn't happen. Breakfast buffet was poorly restocked. Not one person checked the buffet while we were there. Second day we thought that we would have room service so we get what we wanted. Unfortunately it arrived stone cold. I would recommend other guests go out for breakfast

Staff was super friendly and helpful. It had a carpark with easy access for pickups and drop offs. Very well maintained. Rooms and bathrooms good size. Good selection of toiletries. 10min walk to the coach terminus. 5min walk to shopping centre (Grand Central) Suitable for all. Was impressed with bathroom. There was a notice inside there were options to borrow shower chairs and non slip mats. Buffet breakfast was value for money. Not too fancy. Standard hot breakfast but also had good selection of juice, teas and coffee pods, fresh fruit pastry and toast with huge selection of condiments.

Toiletries didn't include toothbrush/tooth paste although I always bring my own. I was tempted not to bring it as it was sold as one of the features. Lucky I did. Else shops were very close.

Excellent location, close to everything in the city. Liked the secure carparking. Beautiful foyer area in the hotel with a spectacular chandalier. We loved the 2 recliner, movie type chairs in the room. Bed was very comfortable as was the bathroom facilities. Excellent restaurant/bar downstairs. Lovely view of the Town Hall building from the balcony

Would have liked a free bottle of water in the fridge. The TV was a bit confusing to connect to to stream from own device

The entire experience from booking, navigation proactive messaging from the hotel, front office staff and the room itself was all great. We booked the King suite with a spa and balcony. Everything in the room was perfect except for the spa that needed a better cleaning. Bar fridge full with a variety of beverages and nice recliners with a big television was brilliant. Nice city view in the evening for that balcony drink. Ample space in the car park. Delicious food and nice cocktails served by the restaurant. In room dining is also available though comes at an extra charge per delivery.

The spa should be cleaned thoroughly at all times.

Heaps of room in our accommodation including 2 large recliner chairs. The spa bath was quite large and looked very inviting. Breakfast area was great and had a good choice of food. the restaurant had a good variety of options available. Would definitely come back again.

no freezer section in the bar fridge, which meant a traveller would not be able to keep stuff frozen. Didn't get enough time to really enjoy the facilities due to attendance at a conference.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Someone made up the room for us while we were out during the day which was nice. The bed was nice. The hotel is a very convenient location, we were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go in the heart of the city.

A table with two chairs would have been really nice. We wanted a nice quiet weekend in and wanted to play a board game but there was nowhere we could set it up. There was a desk against a wall but only one person could sit there. The bathroom floor was very slippery. Getting out of the spa felt dangerous without a handrail on the wall.

Everything about the property and the stay was beyond fabulous. Travelling for work is never fun, but this room, hotel and the facilities made it a much more enjoyable experience. I can not fault any aspect of the stay and would happily recommend Burke and Wills to anyone needing Toowoomba accommodation. I, myself, will definitely be back!

The gym is equipped with an air conditioning system..................but the remote was not visable so the heat in the small area was a tad uncomfortable until I just treated it as a bonus sauna session! Otherwise the new equipment and set up was just what I needed to keep up with my exercise routine!

This is a real hotel quality style and room presentation I have not ever given an excellent rating before Hotels in Brisbane are highly over rated then they hit you with a parking fee of up to $60 a night This hotel has free parking the foyer the rooms are a standard that all hotels should meet but sadly they dont Would I recommend yes

It seems to be a new trend in Australia the greed of everywhere the parking is a profit making inconvenience with having to pay and waste time But thankfully If you stay at the hotel you get free parking But still a bit of an inconvenience Just the new greed of corporates in Australia
