Clean, walk to Base hospital for husbands surgery. Very quick walk across the street to eating places.

I should have paid more attention to room differences. There was a microwave but nothing in the cupboard to put food in to heat up. Notice in the room said no cooking. Heating food isn't cooking. Wasn't suitable for my dietary requirements, not to have a few bowls etc. Nothing to eat my yoghurt and fruit in. Used a container I had with me and the only teaspoon there. Luckily I had a teatowel wrapped around some food that I intended to heat but had to waste. Luckily food purchased was friendly to my gutt. So many of us these days have food issues and need to travel with our own supplies. I'm 64 and was never like this when young and have never come across a room with no supplies in the "kitchen". I should have paid more attention.

We didn't require breakfast due to my wife's ongoing health issues, we provided our own meals as we have to carefully watch what my wife eats.. We did like the cleanliness of the room and it is particularly spacious which we found very good.. The close proximity to the hospital was very good as there were several trips back and forth following my wife's surgery..

At least a bench of some kind in the bathroom to put things on would have been helpful, we thought it strange that the hand washing sink was outside the bathroom.. Further and this is not a criticism of the motel or the staff but the constant door and boot lid slamming of the of the inconsiderate neighbours was quite frustrating at times, especially at 5am in the morning..

The price was economical, the room was spacious, and the parking was great - right out front of the room.

The towels were not absorbent - probably due to fabric softener. Hint: towels get soft in clothes dryers without fabric softener. I am also extremely sensitive to chemicals and smell in room (probably from cleaning products) gave me a headache.

We try to share around our bookings when visiting Toowoomba. This location was a surprise when we noticed the local eateries and convenience stores within walking distance. The tv failed in its operation and the staff went out on all avenues to correct the problem even with offering another room. We wanted the two room setup as I stay up late reading or watching late shows so we stayed. Some very minor things were noted but of no consequence when you find out the owner is on a mission to upgrade and improve what had become a partly neglected operation some 3 years ago. This location is top for the flowering period and close to everything.Parking is undercover and that is a bonus considering the storm threats that loomed.

the position is excellent for hospital appointments when the parking at hospital is a nightmare . lovely food located across a quiet road . I had to change the dates of my stay at the last minute due to appointments changing and the manager was very helpful and only to happy to help

parking is not designated to your room so we were unable to have the car right at our door . I have had recent surgery on my shoulder and was travelling with my elderly mother so having to cart luggage was a bit of a pain

Last minute booking due to convenience of location to Toowoomba hospital. They were able to accommodate last minute booking and further extension requests the following day. Rooms are kept very clean and staff were very welcoming.

While there is a microwave and fridge there is unfortunately no cutlery other than spoons for coffee. Remember to get cutlery for whatever you plan to eat :-)

the location is great when attending appointments at the base hospital . I like the great options for dining across a quiet street

office was not open very frequently, couldn’t park car right outside room but the convenience of location outweighs this

This motel was fantastic, service was great. We were a later booking after hospital visit and the man I spoke to accommodated us no problems. Clean room, easy parking and fantastic location. Close to hospital and shopping centre.

fantastic accomodating staff. our daughter fell ill and they were so helpful. our niece was also in a car accident and they also were super accomodating for this when we had an extra guest for a few hours! thanks so much!

The beds were really comfortable, great sized room, clean and smelling fresh. Well stocked kitchenette, comfortable smoking area. Staff were very helpful and friendly :)
