The managers or owners are not sure who they are, but they were very helpful. In fact, I had been staying there for two nights and needed to stay a few more nights; however, I didn't have the funds available in my account at the time, and they allowed me to stay for the night without paying, and then I paid in the morning. They are very trusting people. Well done! The appearance in person and treatment of guests is very professional. It's worth noting that when I go to Brisbane, which is often, I stay at the Ridges or the Courtyard by Marriott hotels, which are more upper-class professional hotels. However, the quality of the stay and the service at James Street Motor Inn is much higher than the Ridges or Courtyard, something I did not expect.

The resort is a very modern but also older fashioned property, very quiet and friendly, the information provided was very helpful. We felt very comfortable in the room and out, the pool and restaurant view was amazing. Bob the receptionist was absolutely amazing to deal with. Very polite, very helpful and very friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or a better receptionist to welcome us.

Apart from tight corner parking and the shower head needing replacing I cannot fault anything else about the property.

Though, a bit old and tired, it was clean and tidy. Centrally located for what I was in Toowoomba for. Restaurant onsite offered lovely meals with room service available. The meals were great and generously portioned. Friendly staff with good service. I would happily stay again.

The rooms need a brighten up, but times are tough for everybody. Couldn't fault the motel really, good value for the money.

Staff were so accommodating and friendly. The 2 bedroom unit was more than what we needed and very spacious. The pool looked nice, but was a bit cool to try it out

It's an old establishment that could do with a little updating and small things like dust on fans and peeling paint but for what it was, highly recommend

the rooms were very spacious and clean. Good size ensuite, loved having the wall dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion! Not too much road noise. Wish we could have tried the breakfast menu! Staff were friendly and accomodating, allowed us an earlier check in than what I had stated.

The room was larger than a standard motel room. There was a two person lounge, a dining table with four chairs, two single beds and a queen size bed in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room was airconditioned for heat or cooling. There was a kettle, toaster and mugs, tea, coffee etc. The motel had a restaurant and we ate there two nights. The meals were reasonably priced and very filling. Although they have deserts, we couldn't fit that in. It is advisable to book as they do get bus tours stopping there are there is limited seating. There is also a pool but we didn't jump in as it was cold.

There wasn't a plug for the sink (shaving). There weren't any plates for toast.

The surprise of the bath tub in our room, was very welcoming after traveling. The team accommodated our request to order our breakfast before we arrived as we were arriving late at night & breakfast was delicious.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced.

The only thing I could pick on was the water in shower was a little tricky to get right. But it was hot. It's just aged a fraction.

Always very clean and tidy rooms. Bed is super comfortable. Has a fridge and microwave. Netflix on the tv and good size Tv in the room. Room always smells nice. Onsite restaurant is so good, a hidden gem!

Yummy food & Room service delivered within requested times. Staff were very helpful even with the wrong type of room 1st issued. The restaurant and bar were nice and warm for a drizzly Toowoomba evening. We will definitely stay again. Room was very spacious.
