The room was exceptionally comfortable and spotless, providing a welcoming and restful atmosphere. Its location was ideal—conveniently situated yet remarkably peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture that reflects thoughtful design and character. The surrounding gardens are meticulously maintained, adding to the serene and picturesque environment.

While the overall stay was enjoyable, the breakfast did not live up to expectations and felt overpriced for what was offered. Additionally, the coffee machine was unreliable and not functioning properly, which was disappointing, especially in the morning. A few improvements in this area would really enhance the guest experience.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, with the property’s location making it an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions. The one-bedroom apartment exceeded expectations — spacious, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly practical for a comfortable, home-like experience. The layout offered plenty of room to relax and unwind, making it a perfect choice for both short stays and longer getaways.

The buffet breakfast, while offering very good quality food, did not feel like great value for the price paid. The selection was enjoyable but became repetitive over our three-night stay, which diminished the experience slightly. A noticeable improvement could be made by ensuring that food items and crockery are replenished more consistently during busy breakfast periods. This may be a rostering issue, with staff numbers not matching the high volume of guests. That said, our interactions with staff throughout the rest of the resort were consistently five-star. Their warm and attentive service truly elevated our overall experience, and it’s clear they take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Good location, near the hot springs and we did a day trip to French island. Taxi distance to Ten Minutes by Tractor where we ate one evening. High quality room, very comfortable and quiet.

Breakfast was a little underwhelming, although did the trick so no huge issue. Breakfast staff seemed a little grumpy at times. Take complete responsibility for leaving items in the room. But when i reached out to the reception later was advised that it had not been found. So staff either do not clean thoroughly or fail to hand in items left behind.

Location was great, facilities are great. Breakfast was a bonus and had plenty of choice.

Our room. We booked an Open Room and according to all the advertising it overlooks the fairway. This may be true if you are on the first level - however we were diappointed to find we were on the ground floor and looked directly into a native garden - not the golf course. Comfort wise was good, bathroom nice, bed comfy. Just wished we had the view that was the main reason I booked this room....

It was a good location, close to everything, room was clean.

Room was clean but no shelving to put your clothes unless your over 6ft tall, car park was a pain as other people parked in our designated spot and when we told staff at desk they brushed us off and said yer that happens all the time. Had buffet breakfast, staff were not very attentive, food was nice. Had dinner in restaurant and chicken for $49 was tasteless, very disappointed, wouldn't go back to restaurant, very expensive for not very exciting food, woolies roast chicken has more flavour than what I had. Staff at dinner much more attentive. Overall it was nice but probably wouldn't go back.

Very large property as it is also a golf course so it had wonderful views from our balcony.

It was a little confusing to navigate since we arrived at night but we got there in the end. They also emailed me to see if I wanted to pay for a $65 deal with wine and chocolate setup for our anniversary which I did not take them on. But then they provided us complimentary wine and little box of chocolates anyway at check-in. Loved that we got freebies but also felt weird that they initially offered it to us for a price (which included the wine they gave us). Felt a little icky that they tried to get money for something they would’ve given us for free. Granted the paid deal included some extras but still felt weird. But hey, grateful for the freebies so thanks.

Great room and view, bath tub was very good and loved the quality of the toiletries, hand wash. Bed was extremely comfortable. SO clean on arrival.

No water provided on arrival - for this cost and quality of hotel I expected at least a bottle. Free Wifi did not work. Only one mini milk in the fridge for 2 people? Seemed stingy like the water? Limited tea coffee options, tiny tray selection. again just surprised for the amount of money paid for 1 night $300 No bath gel or bubbles - when there is a bath tub? Even though it winter the outdoor balcony could be a bit more inviting in the set up to sit out there. Stark and unwelcoming, cant sit on the wood plank chair, needs cushion.

The view was exceptional and there was a lot of space in the room.

The door separating the bedroom from the bathroom was stuck and couldn't be closed. The balcony was dirty and had cobwebs in the corners. The fridge didn't have any drinks at all, not even a bottle of cold water. However, we had to pay a bond of $50 for a reason I don't understand. The hotel could have been more generous with their biscuits as well. There were only two; even motels provide more biscuits than that.

The owner walked in on us without knocking. Just used her key as she didn't realise that we were there in the morning even though we had checked in hours before and had booked for 2 nights.

The property was wonderful- clean and spacious, quiet with a lovely view. Walking distance to the amazing restaurant and comfortable bed.

The only issue is taking a $50 charge from my credit card that will then take 3-8 days to return. I understand the need for a bond with some groups you may have, however it’s excessive it takes this long to return funds. I’ve stayed in 3 hotels this week and yours is the only one to take so long to return a bond. Apart from that- staff were fabulous and we enjoyed our stay.
