Location was amazing. The bus will actually stop at Moody’s Motel. There’s a petrol pump next to it where you can get snacks and hot food like pies and burgers until 9pm. Walk a little and you’ll find an IGA Express with some restaurants. Super convenient to the beach too. The room was so clean and well equipped. I was a solo traveler yet I had a double bed, a single bed and a couch. Huge bathroom with amenities, microwave and hair dryer. TV is equipped with Netflix and Youtube. You don’t even have to talk to the reception. They’ll send you a message with the code to your room when it’s ready. Love my short stay here. It was also the cheapest in the area for me. Would definitely repeat this stay if I had to come back!

Room was bright, fresh and spotless. Great use of space with luggage racks provided so no tripping over suitcases on the floor. Staff super friendly and informative. Location right opposite the beach and 2 mins drive to Sorrento shops and cafes. Lovely!

Hotel is right on the Esplanade, so if traffic noise upsets your sleep (I slept right through but my partner was kept awake), it's something to consider. Hotel does provide earplugs, tho. We had 3 adults in a family suite, which was a bit squishy, as only one door in and out. This is a bit awkward if someone needs to exit while others are still sleeping in the main room. Fine if you are a close family!!

Very surprised and pleased at the little extras such as the biscuits and cereal packets provided. Very comfortable bed and clean Shower hot and good water pressure. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

It was a little confusing to get the door open, but once I figured it out, it was OK after that. I checked out slightly late and was charged extra for that. I got in very late the night before as I was working very late, so I was very tired.

Moody's was within short walking distance of cafes/takeaway/restaurants, chemist, supermarket, post office, petrol station and right across the road from the beach. A very short drive to Sorrento and Portsea. Contactless check in and check out. The room was clean, cosy and well equipped. I couldn't fault it. Everything I needed for my rejuvenation. Would highly recommend.

I don't think there was anything I didn't like.

The room was perfect for rest, it is comfy and cute. The area is safe.

I recommend to focus to clean the mould in the shower with the product Mould and soap scum remover with the company White King you find in Bunnings or Chemist warehouse or Coles. That product is easy to use it just spray de área or lines on the wall leave that for 20 min then brush and looks fantastic.

The property was clean, comfortable, great spot, private and close to beach and Places to eat , quick drive to sorrento and rye and peninsula hot springs. Room had everything we needed. Most easiest check in and check out I’ve ever had ,very pleased with my stay and such a great price for a weekend stay.

Parking was a tight spot but still easy access , room was a little small with single bed in there

There’s an amazing cafe and a fuel station literally next to the property which pretty much covers your basic needs. If you want to try more cuisines or get some groceries every this is just a 5-10 min drive away. The hot springs are also just a 10-15 min drive away.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about it but I just wished if we had a small kitchen and microwave it would’ve been even better. I’m not sure if the more expensive rooms had it but ours was a basic one and didn’t have it.

The stay was overall nice and clean. Contactless Check-in Check-out. Good location. Awesome lighting in the room. Heat Lights in Bathroom. Lot of plug point to charge your phone or other electronic items so great ease. AC heated the room really well.

We got a few ant bites while sleeping as there were some ants inside the room and also on the bed. The sheets on the bunk bed were stained and dirty. The toilet was slightly stained with hard water marks. Our room was at the ground floor so when someone walked in the room above us, we could hear the floor creaking sound clear and loud, so a little disturbing.

I was really appreciative of the multi room for our group of friends stay with option of close sliding door for privacy at night. Really lovely comfy beds, extremely clean, modern bathroom with complimentary shampoos, seperate room for multi bed room. Close to the beach.

A little traffic noise but not too bad with window shut and barely any cars at night.

Electric blanket, extra blankets for the bunk beds and single, easy to gain access without having to have communication with a staff member
