Coming away for the night so our son could celebrate his birthday with some zoo encounters, this property was perfectly located. The natural setting is wonderful and very relaxing

The property was very clean and had all of the basic comforts required but there was a very strong cleaning agent smell, not horribly chemical smelling but overly powerful when we first entered. I left my husband to air out the cabin whilst son and I took a walk so I wouldn’t get a headache. Perhaps a more natural cleaner like Australian made company Bosistos make, Eucalyptus or teatree if a company does this in bulk cheap enough option could be considered. The staff were super welcoming, friendly and gave us lots of information without even having to ask for it. The pool was lovely and clean with enough lounge chairs but some shade would have been appreciated.

We stayed in the deluxe queen cottage which is exactly how it's shown in the photos. Great size for a couple, with a spacious kitchen, a sitting/dining area, separate bedroom and a lovely outdoor covered patio. The holiday park itself is lovely, quiet and just 5 min drive from the Halls Gap town centre. Lots of amenities provided, including crockery, pots and pans for cooking, a microwave, small fridge, Tv and even a hairdryer! All areas were generally clean and the bed linens were clean and fresh.We really enjoyed spotting the kangaroos and emus walking through the camp ground! Overall, we had a cozy and comfortable stay! Certainly will return to this spot and recommend to other guests!

As it's located in a holiday park, we don't expect it to be squeaky clean. However, it will be nice if the housekeeping team ensures that the shelves are dust free, as we spotted several dusty areas where crockery and drinking glasses were stored. The kitchen is well equipped, but we did feel it would be better if they stocked on very basic pantry items like oil, salt and pepper.

It was a cabin sufficient for us to have our luggage open and walk around, and definitely bigger than expected. You are surrounded by wildlife such as birds, and at dusk the kangaroos come to visit. There were also sufficient items provided for your stay. The birds were a tad noisy in the mornings but I mean, you’re in the wilderness am I right? Great place for nature lovers!

Toilet was a little small. We stayed for 2 nights and enquired if we could get 2 sachets of coffee because we were given 2 sachets (and what we thought was for a night’s stay) and the staff told us that the coffee and tea were a form of goodwill and a gift. We understand but honestly it is just 2 sachets of coffee, and it put a bad taste in our mouth. In this case it would have been better if they were omitted entirely, or it would have been great if they could just spare 2 more for us. Anyways coffee options were aplenty so it wasn’t a big deal.

Great location, beautiful setting, very clean and comfortable for our overnight stay. It was a wild and windy night but we were cosy and warm in our little cottage. It was lovely to wake up to the views of the Grampians, kookaburras laughing and a mob of curious kangaroos hanging around the open spaces.

Not a big issue, but the TV was positioned in a strange spot on a shelf above the fridge which meant we couldn't watch it from the couch (had to move the dining table over to put the TV on it so that it faced the couch). Perhaps it could be wall-mounted on the narrow wall between the kitchen and the bathroom with a pivot arm?

The cleanliness of the cabin. The quick check in process. The play area for kids was a hit with my daughter. Quiet and close to the main shopping strip.

Small pool and basketball court. The bed on rollers was a bit annoying. Had to wedge a chair between the drawers and the bed to stop it from moving so much! Shower was hard to manoeuvre, couldn't get the right temp as it was either too hot or too cold.

Park nice and large good play equipment for children. Swing for a one year old wasn’t able to be done up, reported it to management and it was fixed straight away. Lovely seeing small birds , kangaroos and emus wander by

Pool didn’t have any form of heating . Even though day was hot pool too cold. Need some solar heating to boost temp Non stick frypan could not be used as all non stick layer was deteriorated.

The friendliness of staff from checking in to out was well received; there is so much to do and see in one park for children and pets. The location was amazing, it was clean, and not far from the town centre. The inclusion of a cafe with such a gorgeous variety of foods and drinks was positively different and cosy. The eclectic surroundings with happy wildlife made it a wonderful experience!

That we didn’t stay longer!

Our cabin was very clean & had all we needed for a long weekend getaway. Our beds were comfortable, linen fresh, hot shower & excellent pillows. The aircon we used on both heating & cooling & worked well, & very quiet on the gentle setting overnight. Dark blinds helped to block out lighting in the park. Visits from the Cockatoo, Wattle bird, magpies & parrots was a treat, & a playground for our granddaughter was enjoyed. Walking distance to Halls Gap, (5km return) on a great walk/cycle path & 7 min walk to the lovely hotel.

The TV pixelated somewhat & we did notice our cabin did not have a tv aerial. The kitchen taps were coming off the wall slightly & stiff to use.

I found the location and layout of the whole park fantastic! I loved the fenced dog area for my dog!! It was simple but lovely!

Nothing I didn’t like. The cabins were basic amenities so no ‘bells and whistles’ but given we weren’t there much other than to sleep and rest I didn’t mind at all.

the bed was very comfortable. the cabin was clean. no problems except the previous tenants had not washed the coffee cups very well. location was as expected.

the front window of cabin over the sofa would not open. the airconditioner heater was not efficient. it cooled or heated the cabin to just a certain temp/ it was not cosy hot or really cool.
