I had a superior room which met all my needs. It was great to have a walk-in shower, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle so I could self-cater a lot. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the bush and mountains out the back of the property. There was plenty of space to do my morning tai chi on the grass near the trees. I enjoyed walking the property in the morning to see the kangaroos, deer and numerous birds. I enjoyed sitting under the bbq decking and looking at the amazing view. next time I stay I hope to sit around the communal fire pit at night. Michael, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming.

My room was a little dated, but quite comfortable and had all I needed. I did get a little frustrated as a non-smoker that guests would often smoke outside their rooms near mine and the smell would drift into my room, even after having to shut the doors, which meant the lovely sunlight couldn't stream in.

We stayed here in mid-June 2025. The Property is just out of Halls Gap and has a pool and large grounds that are frequented by many native Australian animals. We had to stop half way up the driveway while an Emu decided it wanted to cross the road. One of the local Kangaroos popped into our room (literally) to see if we could spare any biscuits or fruit; a quintessential Australian experience. The room was recently renovated and had a new Aircon/Heatpump system which kept us warm on the cold nights. The bed was super comfy and the shower was nice and hot. The Restaurant was closed due to staff shortages in Winter, but there are lots of eating and drinking options in Halls Gap, so all good.

We didn't like that we didn't stay long enough. We're very much looking forward to returning.

Absolutely fantastic, loved our stay. Comfortable beds. The setting was perfect, amazing views of the mountains at both the front and rear of the property, very relaxing place to stay. We saw lots of wildlife on this property - kangaroos(one that is friendly and lets you feed and pat it) kookaburras, cockatoos, rabbits, emus, and also a couple of deer ran through.

Only downfall was the inconsistent water temperature, however everything else made it amazing and we would definitely return if we were in the grampians again.

We know the Grampians and were happy with the distance from the restaurants and shops. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, we did request an additional blanket as it was winter, I would have loved an electric blanket on the bed. The shower had good pressure, and plenty of room for toiletries. Jug, toaster and microwave was also supplied, plus mini fridge. Lots of Kangaroos and cockies to enjoy. Great price for what you get. Aircon kept us nice and warm.

Absolutely loved the picturesque landscape. Facilities and room were very clean. Smelt beautiful. Comfortable bed, linen, pillows ect. Soft towels. The restaurant was superb. Bbq Facilities great. Pool with a view. Nature at your doorstep. Owners were very accomadating, very friendly and professional manner. All staff take pride in their work and show great workmanship towards the motel. Great value for money. Close to all local attractions, and quieter than in town (crickets) We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful environment! Karen, the owner, sent me a text message explaining check in on the Sunday, and even upgraded to a superior room. Her text was very clear and friendly in tone. When I arrived after 6pm, self checkin was easy. The room was a double queen with bathroom and kitchenette, immaculately clean and well presented, with incredible view to the mountains. It is wheelchair accessible too. Despite the terrible storms, I slept well. There are heaps of huge grey kangaroos on the lawns which is great.

Everything was fine, very comfortable, clean, no problems at all.

We keep visiting grampians at least once a year. And we had booked the grampians motel once around 7-8 years back. We liked it so much that since then, for every visit, we tried to book it. Alas,every time it was sold out. We got lucky this time and got the family room we wanted. The thing we like the most is how open this place is - big playground, nice BBQ area, nice ground around it. It gives the real feel of being surrounded by nature yet having the comfort of a home (unlike tents). In both our stays we were greeted by Emu in the morning, right on our door. Lol... definitely, staff pushed them out of our way to keep us safe and the emu. Staff is helpful, you ring them even at 9 or 10 pm at night and they come and help you out.

Great location! 2 mins drive away from Brambuk National Park & Cultural Centre (Information Centre). Family room is spacious (there are 5 of us) and clean. There's a small pool (didn't get chance to use) and laundry room with washer and dryer. Stayed 2 days and overall very happy with the accomodation for the price!

Hot shower didn't work in the room but the staff already informed us beforehand and offered another room for us to take hot shower. Good customer service!

The location and view was exceptional, the cars were iced over, use warm water for early departure. Weather permitting there are many activities for the whole family at this location. Good value for all, a long walk for backpackers. Good television, heating, microwave, beds, table and chairs, tea and coffee, toaster, refrigerator, toiletries and a complimentary machine coffee.

Clean, warm and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. Close to the small town and family friendly hikes. The resident kangaroo (buddy), came to check on us in the morning. Michael was very friendly and welcoming. We will be booking another longer stay in the future.

The restaurant was closed due to being short staffed, however Michael gave some great suggestions of restaurants to eat at during our stay.
