this is a great place for kids, the lake is very shallow around the beaches so very safe. there used to be more playgrounds back in the day, now there looks to be only the one. the cabin was clean and comfortable, ready to go with everything you would need for a short stay. the view is spectacular over the lake to the Grampians.

the shop is virtually non-existent. it used to be amazing, near the beach with take away food, supermarket, fishing bait & tackle. there was no bait & tackle for sale which is disappointing given the good fishing at the lake. a lot of $$ would be made operating such a store at peak times. the cafe is no substitute. i understand charging for day tripper cars to enter the park but was surprised to hear it is so expensive for people to walk in as well.

We were there (to us: a very large flexible multi-use facility) at an off peak time but we were impressed by the clean, orderly, and well-maintained park. It clearly runs like a well-oiled machine with caring and hard-working owners/managers. We would have no hesitation in booking there again or recommending it to our friends.

It's a very minor issue but I would have liked a smart tv. I don't need access to multiple tv channels, however, I do like to be able to connect my own devices to a tv for streaming.

Lovely place, right by the lake. Sunsets over it are amazing. We booked 2 nights in a 1 bedroom cabin with my dad, which was exactly what we needed. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, and full-size fridge. One bedroom with a double bed and a small corridor with a bunk bed leading to the bathroom. Keep in mind it is a 15-minute drive from Halls gap, so it is way quieter than in town.

Few things needs to be checked or improved. The shower is too small to have a curtain, it either comes and sticks to you or it's outside the shower so useless. Dust needs to be done a bit better (top of the wardrobes, under the sofa..). The lighter in the kitchen was not working.

The perfect destination for a relaxing getaway with the kids. Lots to do without even leaving the park. The kids favourite beach on the lake but you can fish and things too. Great things to do nearby too like the Grampians, the zoo and the best icecream shop in Victoria in town.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact I didn’t myself book a longer stay. So lovely you don’t want to leave.

Unit was very clean. First row from the lake, so the view of the lake and mountains was magnificent. Not far from Halls Gap, and other main attractions.

There is nothing to dislike. Only, water level is low but still OK to launch the boat. easy to launch canoe/kayak from the sandy beach.

The view, the location and the host was amazing. The cabin was enough for a family of four to six people. The single beds were very comfortable. But the double bed was a bit hard. Overall, it was a very good place.

For a cabin intended for four to six people, there should be at least a large pot that can make spaghetti for six people, a suitable drainer and a suitable set of skimmers. The pillow jumping was closed because it was broken.

Loved the location looking out over the lake. Cabin had everything we needed. The lovely lady at the front desk was easy to speak too about changes.

The bed was hard as a rock but some people may like extra firm beds.

Was very relaxing and quiet. Was great for my grandson with the lake and pool.

They have to do something about their WiFi and signal. Couldn't even send a normal message half the time. It's good to disconnect sometimes but you also have to have some connection with outside world. It's not good.

The peace and quiet, the pool, the lake, the playground for children, having a kitchen in the room and the bbq facilities around the park were great too

The bed was hard and uncomfortable in the room.

The lake beach was awesome and is a spot in itself, I would come back again. Staff was courteous and responsive.

Everything was there apart from good WiFi and Toiletries. I would recommend adding that as defacto.
