I love this hotel and hadn't been for many years. It's had an upgrade but still retains all the charm. My room was lovely with the ensuite and great to have the deck out front of the room. It can be a little noisy if the hotel is busy as the deck is shared, but my stay was delightful and I look forward to returning. I arrived later than expected and rang the hotel to ask about the restaurant hours, they said to call in advance to order my meal so I didn't miss out. And it was lovely eating on the deck in the last throes of the sunset. Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend.

Love the pub connected to the accomm. Location superb, meal was great, so all good there. Room excellent; warm, comfortable and clean. New ensuite appointment was amazing.

Everything was great except there was a rather loud and persistent knocking noise that made sleeping challenging.. I thought it might be an open window and went outside several times to no avail. I finally thought that it might be a pipe shudder that knocks when water is turned off and on possibly in the kitchen. It diminished early in the morning but is worth finding out cause it was a bother and kept me awake. I was in the room called The Narrows.

Lots of things... the room was fine for what I had booked... the food was bloody delish... however it would be awesome if there could be some salt/pepper shakers & olive oil available where you go pick up your cutlery... bloody lovely fresh seafood linguini... just needed to be able to add some salt, pepper & olive oil to it... Balcony at both the eating area and the back area where the rooms are is gorgeous.

Just the access to condiments would make it bloody perfect :)

Staff, facilities, location excellent. The room was newly renovated, the bed was on the smaller side for a queen and a bit hard. Room was great with excellent views, although the Tower room has stairs, so if you have difficulties with them avoid this room. We would definitely stay again! The pub was a great experience with a huge veranda and indoor fire place, the food is of a good standard for for pub grub!

The stairs are tight and the bathroom is downstairs in the Tower room but the rest of the rooms are on one level.

Its a big old Hotel with a great outside deck and a good kitchen. A great experience! The rooms are fully modernized and very comfortable. Excellent morning coffee at "Marlo Bait & Tackle Cafe" just around the corner.

No lifts or access ramps but its an older building and lifts where unknown.

Room was very cold and had to leave heater on all night Would help to have a heat lamp in the bathroom as it was like an ice box to walk into ….tried leaving the door open but it was too cold The cleaner would leave open the laundry doors to the outside area all day and at night which was opposite our room, and due to the cold weather, I would have to close them each night as well as put a towel under our door to stop the cold air form blowing under it

The staff were very friendly, helpful and happy. The food was great.

The bar fridge in my room made an intermittent, rattling noise which woke me up twice. I really needed my sleep and this was disappointing. There was also a banging noise (a door?) Which also kept me awake and then woke me in the morning.

This is a little Ripper of a hotel! Great location near the ocean - so beautiful breeze and sounds -could not better. Lovely clean room with everything you need for a one- night stop over! The restaurant was an added bonus. Delicious food at reasonable prices and lovely staff!! I will definitely return!

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed having a glass of wine by the open fire while watching the sunset. My meal was very good. The updated bathroom was lovely. I would stay again and have recommended the hotel to my friends.

I can't say I didn't like anything. It would have been handy to have a bedside table but the room was a single so wasn't big enough.

Everything. Josh was a wonderful host - welcoming, friendly, interested, professional and knowledgeable. Room was charming and comfortable. Dinner was great in a friendly, warm, happy environment. Food was very good.

Really nothing, but the toilet flush pipes made a terrible noise. Everything else was so good that it really didn't matter.
