We only stayed for one night, but the room was more than adequate for our limited stay. The beds were warm and comfortable; all the usual facilities you would expect in a hotel were there. Even though the hotel is near the main road we weren't bothered by any traffic noise. The staff at the reception were very friendly and efficient. We had breakfast delivered to the room and it was very nice. There is a hotel right next door, so we just strolled and had dinner which was very nice and convenient. I can recommend the roast of the day.

It was a very cold night and even though they had a split system in the room, unfortunately it was still cold in the room.

Was Very clean, great location and quiet

Our room wasn't serviced after our first night. I asked at reception on check out and they asked if I slid the thing on the door asking to be serviced?, I asked what thing on the door. Supposedly there's a make my room or DND option on the door, ours was left not showing either? Normally you only change this if you do not want to be disturbed. We were told it's in the compendium in the room that explains it... but who reads these, we were hardly in the room anyway. I mentioned that it wasn't stated this was the process at checking, which they should mention if it's different to "usual" hotel service. It's no big deal, just for others to be aware of.

Beds were very comfortable and shower was amazing, with a giant shower head! There is a walking track that runs behind the property, great for a morning walk. Food at the bistro was good and easy, also a bottle shop next to it so we bought a bottle of wine to bring back to our apartment, also a 7-11 next door. It was also surprisingly quiet for being on a highway. Reception staff person was friendly too. A great stay.

There was a noise something like a squeaky wheel like really fast crickets. We think it was coming from the other side of the bedroom wall - it looked like a storage room for towels etc in there, don’t know what it was but had to use earplugs to sleep. The grouting and sink could use a deeper scrub since there was that pinkish mildew present , but otherwise was clean.

The beds were so comfortable and tastefully decorated with extra cushions The kitchen has just enough of the essential items of what you needed and the towels by the pool was perfect I didn't bother using my towel then trying to dry it somewhere.Also the grounds had a lovely garden down the back with BBQ found by accident which was a lovely quiet area to sit and relax

Other quest were untidy someone put their rubbish in the smoke bins outside our unit which I thought was rather rude considering there was one outside every room.we decided to rid of it when we left

The Blazing Stump is located next to the Army Museum. There are some eateries and a petrol station next to it. The hotel has its own bistro and gaming room. Don't forget to have a Carlton Draught there. They have a lovely display tank for their Carlton Draught. The room is big. Carpark is right in front of the room. Great facilities.

The bistro food is very ordinary. The quality of the food can be improved. Also, you cannot order the food and the drinks from the same counter. Guests also need to pick up their meals from the heat lamp area. Some guests may find it difficult to handle hot plates.

Two bedroom spa penthouse was spacious, comfortable & easily accessible from both sides. With car parking directly outside your door on one side & a walkway / sitting area opening onto a grassed area with glass doors at the other. The gardens including birds of paradise & magnolias were in full bloom & absolutely magnificent! It is a large hotel / motel complex that includes the Blazing Stump Hotel but was still quiet overnight (we stayed Saturday / Sunday) even though it appeared quite full.

Only improvements could be some fine tuning on the cleanliness. Also struggled to get the blinds closed properly in the north facing rooms, just some fine tuning needed. There was a 5cm size hole in the top sheet on the main bed & the towels were typically hard motel towels (but there were three & two bath mats which was good given the spa!) This is an hotel penthouse suite not 5 star Melbourne accommodation but excellent for this price. None of this will stop of us coming again.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The rooms were clean and generously sized. The most comfortable bed we've had in accommodation. The spa bath was a hit with the kids and the shower had amazing water pressure. Room service was super handy after a long day travelling and the meals were fantastic. A big split system in the living area kept us warm provided we kept the bedroom doors open. There was plenty of room to park our 10ft trailer outside our room. Would definitely stay here again

The room would have been a perfect 10 if we had a washer dryer. The motel has a guest laundry with paid machines which is more than some places offer.

What is there not to like about the Blazing Stump, the rooms are spotless, the beds are amazingly comfortable, and the staff are friendly and courteous. its accessible, the adjoining hotel means you are never far from a fantastic meal and drinks with a great atmosphere

There is nothing to fault at this motel, after a full day of traveling it was just awesome to be able to freshen up and have a lovely meal, then back for a restful sleep, noise is minimal considering you are next to the main road. No faults here

The room provided was very spacious and well-appointed with furniture for our purpose. The bathroom was also spacious, and the hot water was hot. The bed itself was soft and extremely comfortable. We only stayed overnight, but wished we were staying longer. Parking was at the door. The location was quiet and within an easy walk to the Blazing Stump Hotel to access the bistro.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Location suited us well, beds were super comfy, apartment was very clean. Parking spot was a bonus. Staff were friendly and very obliging. The grounds are well kept and there is a beautiful pool area (didn't get a chance to use this time). Facilities were great and provided for all our needs.

Everything was great! Only small issue was that the outside gate to our apartment was a bit squeaky.
