Loved the location and room was cosy 😊 and had everything you could need

If it were my business I would have room a bit cleaner , like sealing the gaps in corners of ceiling wiping out the dust in wardrobe ect I would have more coffee less tea and a coffee pod machine instead of instant coffee for $400 a night . Just suggestions

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was truly amazing from start to finish. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a lovely, modern design that made it feel both cozy and luxurious. One of the standout features for me was the amount of storage space in the closet—plenty of room to unpack and stay organized, which is something I really appreciate when traveling. The bathroom was impressively spacious, clean, and well-lit, which made getting ready each day a pleasure. I also loved having a mini fridge in the room—it was so convenient for keeping drinks and snacks cool. All the facilities throughout the hotel were top-notch, from the amenities in the room to the shared spaces and services offered. It’s clear the hotel takes pride in maintaining a high standard. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the jacuzzi bath or the TV above the bath to work. It’s possible I may have missed something, but to the best of my knowledge, there were no clear instructions, and I wasn’t able to figure out how to operate either. This was particularly disappointing as I had paid extra specifically for a room with these features. Some guidance or support in the room would have made a big difference.

Self check in premises so none of the usual hotel type contact with staff. Having said that did have a brief conversation in passing, outside, first morning with the owner. I think they live on site in premises to the front of the property. The guest accommodation is to the back, accessed down a walkway to the LHS of the property. Well lit enough at night. If you’re looking for typical hotel style accommodation and services this is not for you. If that’s not important then this could be for you…. The room was clean and spacious enough for my short stay. Longer stay guests may need wardrobe hanging space and there wasn’t any in my room. There was an iron and ironing board. The bathroom was huge! Open shower, no bath, loo and double bowl vanity all in the one large space. A frosted glass door lets in daylight and allows access to an outdoor,fully enclosed shower. Novel idea! A couple of small things requiring maintenance or a bit of special clean were noticed but didn’t directly impede stay. More of an aesthetic thing. Bed was comfortable, all linen and towels clean. Housekeeping not done day after check in. If it’s not daily I may have missed that info in the property description. Well located to be able to walk to cafes and restaurants. Parking is free and availability was good but it is on street.

Handy location within a short walk to the main Freemantle downtown area. Comfortable and quiet room with great shower - hot and strong pressure. Friendly staff and owner

Water was not supplied every day. It is their policy to only supply two small bottles of water upon arrival, but I feel for the small amount of money it would cost to provide daily water, it should have been done

What a gem to find in Fremantle. Location excellent. Very clean and professionally presented room. The contactless admin was not a problem and we were given instructions by both phone and email that were clear and precise. Our room was a King poolside room, very spacious with a comfortable king bed that with the quiet location ensured a good nights sleep. The ensuite was large, clean but the outside shower was a delightful treat that we enjoyed bringing back memories of Broome holidays. We have no hesitation in recommending Maand Up for a no fuss stay in Freo.

This accommodation has a great central location, just a short walk from one of the main streets of Freo but far enough away to still be quiet on a night. It was super easy to check in which was all contactless. The office isn’t open after 2pm but the manager answered our call straight away when we had a query. The room was clean and spacious with some nice touches and amenities to make the stay more comfortable. The hot outdoor shower was an unexpected delight, especially in winter!

Nice little room for my 2 night stay. Very good location. Close to the Fremantle Markets and restaurants. Was clean and tidy. The new contact less check-in was a pretty cool idea. It made it very easy to check-in without the waiting around at the desk.

There was a lack of bathroom toiletries. E.g. toilet paper. There was also a huge stain on the white blanket that was clearly visible. We ended up removing the blanket and sleeping with the sheets. I also wished the aircon could've been cooler since it was extremely hot during the day and night.

This is a fantastic little hotel - secluded, cosy yet so convenient to the best Fremantle has to offer. We loved the location, the simplicity of the floor plan, and the pool. The room is compact yet comfortable with lovely velvet armchairs and cushions. There are restaurants, cafes, bars and a bottle shop within metres of the establishment. South Beach is within easy walking distance. If you are lucky, you may get to meet in-house resident feline, Nautica. If you are worthy, she may let you pat her!

Very little to complain about, really, the hotel is lovely. The bath towels were a little on the thin side but no worse than other hotels.

Location was near to centre of Fremantle but very quiet - ideal for a work trip. Room was spacious and comfortable. Tea/coffee replenished daily.

The only improvement would be to have some shelves or drawers for clothing - there is a small wardrobe but no other storage - a bit tricky when there for a week and wanting to unpack.

It was easy walking distance to food and entertainment.

Had to find a laundromat because there was no washing facilities. A couple of days of our stay was wet, and we had no drying rack or line to dry wet clothes.
