The BnB was in a fantastic location, extremely close to everything the city has to offer. We had a lovely breakfast every morning, and checking in and out was very easy. The place seemed to be run by (very efficient) ghosts - we never saw any staff, only other guests. The neighbours could be heard on all sides, but everyone was very polite and noise died down around 10pm.
Very little to dislike - only to note that the last renovation looks and feels very tired. The bathroom and bedroom, while spotless were worn looking, and the door locks were very sticky. While a very lovely place to stay, definitely not somewhere I would market as luxurious. The staircases are narrow (standard for the age of the building) so getting suitcases up is awkward.

When arriving at the property my partner and I loved how private it was! Walking in just felt like a home away from home, we loved the touch of a contactless service. When we arrived, there was an envelope with our names on it with our room key, such a cute touch! We definitely had the best room for sure! It was super clean and the interior was just beautiful and the balcony was very magical! The continental breakfast was a lovely touch too! At the end of our visit we met one of the staff members of the B&B and she was just so lovely it was nice to know that it was ran by beautiful people! My partner and I will definitely be coming back, also amazing value for money.
We honestly loved everything nothing to add!

Stepping in past the large iron gates was like entering an Italian villa. Excellent location close to the market and a street full of restaurants, bars and cafes. However, beware, there are steps leading into the townhouse and the rooms are accessible via narrow stairs (no ground floor rooms or lift). We missed the fine print and were alerted only when we received an email with the check-in information the day before arrival. Appreciated the early check-in provided by the housemaid who had just finished cleaning the room, as the weather was inclement. Good breakfast. Nice balcony to have a drink or breakfast, but the weather condition was not suitable.
Insufficient milk provided. Tea/coffee not replenished after first night; no one to ask. Modest quality furniture.

The room was beautiful, very shabby chic/oldy worldy. It was clean and had everything we needed (towels, shower wash, kettle with tea, coffee and milk in the fridge) The breakfast was perfect. We had museli, fresh fruit, banana bread, yoghurts and apple juice. We ate our breakfast on our balcony which was the perfect setting. The courtyard is so beautiful, we felt like we were in Italy or France. The location is great - we didn’t realise how central it was. It is off one of the main high streets and you can practically see the markets at the end of the road. If you walk the other way the Esplanade park is at the end of the road. Little creatures brewery and the water front is only a 5 minute walk away. Gage Road brewery (a must visit) is only a 10 minute walk away. There is a wine/cheese bar right next door and the best ice cream shop a few doors down (they make their own ice cream and cones!) There is also a French restaurant opposite. Peggy’s sandwhich shop is a short walk away and has the best focaccia sandwhiches. Could not have got a better location if we tried. We would definitely stay here again!
There was nothing that could have been better, just wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful place. Well located just down the road from Market Street, the markets and the pubs and restaurants; closeby to the beachfront. The room was decorated in sympathy with the age and history of the building; comfy four-poster bed; almost-Loui XIV-style painted, distressed furniture; the fridge was contained inside the cupboard so it did not disturb me; a large room for one person at 25mt2; gorgeous garden doors leading to a tiny balcony; small bathroom - all perfect for one. Breakfast was provided in the fridge that was fresh cut fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, orange juice, fresh milk, banana cake. It was all beautifully presented and tasted delicious.
It was hard work getting my wheelie bag up the narrow two floors of staircase but I didn't mind. It was all in keeping with the age of the building.

Very clean, comfortable, and cosy in a gorgeous setting of a historical building that was well-maintained and beautifully appointed. Decent sized room with a comfortable bed and good bathroom & toiletries to use, with good detailed instructions provided ahead of & on arrival with the contactless key collection. Simple but good light breakfast provided every day in the room (muesli, milk, juice, plain yoghurt, and fruit salad) as well as a kettle, teas & coffees, and a bar fridge. Gorgeous little Juliet balcony with a table & chairs to relax on if desired, and a table & chairs inside the room too. Ceiling fan & AC unit in room. Loved my stay!
Only suggestion would be to provide a deodoriser/antibacterial spray for the bathroom (for after personal business!). Can't fault anything else.

Non-contact easy check-in! The room was cute, comfortable and very clean. Liked the block out curtains. Aircon was great and the ceiling fan was a plus. Liked the complimentary breakfast (cereal, yogurt and fruitmix) paired with a glass of juice 😋 Excellent water pressure in shower. Fresh and comfortable bed. High ceilings. Great location. Plenty of parking.
The stairs were steep - struggled with luggage. private bathroom door had no lock on the inside which lead to the hallway - felt unsafe that anyone with a key could enter. No lock on bedroom door. Glass floor in bathroom (strange)

The location was great and a very comfy bed! Very picturesque
There was no one at the front counter to greet you and hard to get in contact with as the phone number on the paper they gave you was the incorrect number. In addition, all of the advertising pictures were of beautiful balcony outlooks but all ours looked out to was 3 brick walls, a bit disappointing. Not accessible for someone who can’t climb 3 flights of stairs with a suitcase.

Didn't see any staff but the check in and out process was easy. The room was cleaned and refreshed each day, including the breakfast items in the fridge. The location was convenient and close to some nice restaurants.
It was quite noisy, particularly the pipes as it's an old building and you can hear everything the person in the next room is doing. The wifi kept dropping out and said "connected without internet" I also had limited 4G inside the room, but service was fine outside.

Stayed overnight after returning from Rottnest. Great location in the middle of Fremantle, in a beautiful gated area shared with private residences. Comfortable room with connecting ensuite. Small continental breakfast provided as well which was a great touch.
Lots of steps - difficult if you have large luggage or aren't as mobile. We also found it was loud between levels and could hear all movements upstairs.
