Beautiful property, beautiful location and lovely staff. Any small problems were either fixed or communicated well by the staff. Literally the only issues we had were the room keys not working initially…..easy fix and then I received a phone call from staff around 8pm to advise us there was a busted water pipe up the road and that it may get noisey due to the watercorp and they were so apologetic about it. Never heard a thing. The rooms were beautiful, we didn’t hear any other guests the whole time. Lovely hotel.

The only suggestions I would have would be to put sheer curtains up as we were opposite the FOMO carpark and when our blinds were open people in the carpark may have been able to see in. Additionally, I saw one review about the size of the bed vs the room size and the bed being close to the wall. For a bigger person I could see it being an issue, but it was generally fine.

It was so cool and interesting, really comfortable and a step up from a normal hotel. Would highly recommend. We went to the sister restaurant next door for dinner which was incredible. We’re from Melbourne yet this was the best Asian meal we’ve had.

We had a family room, which has the kids in a separate room. There is a glass window from the bathroom into the kids room, and also an automatic light in the bathroom that you can’t turn off. That meant when I went to the bathroom in the night, light shone into the kids room and woke them up. Never fun to wake up kids in the night. It would be an easy fix to just have a light switch in the bathroom (that I wouldn’t turn on in the night). Seems like a small thing but such an easy fix - worth mentioning!

OMG just loved this place , have walked past it so many times . Loved the history of The Warders, the rooms the way they were styled, being next to Emily Taylors , the breakfast option was SO good,, The Gimlet we loved and the staff Nathan, Elva and Sam thank you !

Fabulous stay at Warders Fremantle. Lovely quiet and large rooms, walk to everything in Freo. We hired bikes to explore and they were stored safely. Big bed and beautiful amenities. Emily Taylor's, Fremantle Prison and Markets all within a few steps. Would return.

We had a room on the ground floor and it was a bit dark but not private when we opened the door. The bottom room terrace privacy could be made better by a hedge or higher fence. Would ask for upstairs next time.

The property is in an excellent location. Restaurants, market, shops and beaches easily accessible. It was clean and well managed for our stay. Some nice hospitality touches a Voucher for free drink (Beer, Wine or Soft drink) at the Gimlet Gin Bar & morning Coffee/Tea/ Hot Choc or Chai with a pastry was a nice start to the day. Sparkling and still water on tap and coffee pod machine available in room. We really enjoyed our stay hope to return.

One side of the bed is close to the fire place, which maybe slightly inconvenient if you are a larger person but understandable due to utilising space in a historic building.

Amazing location, right next to Fremantle Markets. Easy check in, and staff were very friendly. Nice small selection of beer/wine in the fridge ready for you when you check in. Really nice vibes. Free coffee+muffin vouchers for in-house cafe.

The room floors were very dusty and definitely in need of a much better clean. Walkway to the rooms are not sheltered so when it rains you are getting wet. Free drink vouchers at the bar, but the bar closes really early, before dinner time.

Fantastic location right at the entrance to the Fremantle markets and metres from a huge selection of restaurants. Even though we were right in the middle of thriving Sunday market crowds, the room we had upstairs was super quiet with double glazing. The rooms were tastefully restored old prison warden rooms. Funky features and luxe fittings. The free still and sparkling water was a bonus and the included coffee and pastry breakfast was delicious in the funky bar downstairs.

A tiny bit of maintenance required in the bathroom. The grout needed redoing in some places. Also the light and fan in the bathroom were on a sensor, so a little bit annoying when it came on at night disturbing the other person.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beautifully renovated heritage cottages are charming and well appointed. We appreciated the complimentary access to the minibar and the availability of free still and sparkling water for guests was a nice touch. We also loved the little bar, Gimlet, and had an excellent dinner at the Emily Taylor restaurant. Both added to the experience.

The only downside is the hotel is a little hard to find, especially the reception area. We checked in on a market day, and finding parking while figuring out where to go was a bit of a nightmare (you will need patience). Although we booked parking, it wasn’t clear where to go until we found reception.

Rooms are lovely, hotel is in a great location within Fremantle. Walking distance to FOMO arcade complex for kids, close to hundreds of great restaurants and bars, 10 minute walk to waterfront. Free welcome drink at Gimlet altho we didn’t get a chance to do this. Items in bar fridge (2 beers, 2 soft drinks, a kit Kat and a small red wine bottle) all free.

A bit more of an actual breakfast would be good or an explanation of what was possible/included as “breakfast” for guests at Gimlet I.e could juice be substituted for coffee, what types of pastries are available for guests as opposed to customers. And it would be great to have the option of having the coffee and pastries delivered to the rooms. Very noisy at night and early morning with fairly loud air con, rubbish truck, street sweeper etc but this largely part and parcel with central location next to markets.

Located in the lovely area & easy to access to the touristic points, as well as the supermarket. The whole idea of rennovating the old wardners' house into the hotel is a very good chance to acknowledge the city's history. Their complemntary services were also nice... welcome drink at the Gimlet bar, wine & beer at the fridge... if you love drinking definitely here's the place.

Nothing much, but it'd be more than perfect if the breakfast has one more options of probably salad or soup, along with the coffe & bread.
