Cottesloe Beach Hotel Review We stayed at Cottesloe Beach Hotel for one night, and overall, the experience was pleasant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. One of the team members even helped carry our luggage to our room on the first floor, as there is no elevator in the building. The room itself appeared recently renovated and was of a high standard in terms of design and amenities. It was spotless and equipped with fresh towels, single-use toiletries, and a coffee and tea-making set—everything you’d expect for a comfortable stay.

However, the room was quite small and felt cramped. While this wasn’t an issue for a one-night stay, it might have been uncomfortable for a longer visit. Another minor drawback was the view from the window, which wasn’t particularly appealing.

The room was upgraded FOC when staff were informed of the occasion behind our booking. The staff were amazing meeting our needs ten fold particularly after checkout with multiple visits to our held luggage tolerated and a host of entertainment equipment offered for our use FOC even after check out. The room was big, well laid out, with a modern ensuite and a fantastic view from the expansive balcony overlooking the beach. This stay really was the highlight of our holiday in Perth affording us the chance to come and go from one of the countries most iconic pubs at our leisure and we were made to feel right at home with no request to big or hard.

Right from the get go I felt warmly welcomed at the reception desk. Friendly, helpful and genuinely hospitable and the information genuinely thoughtful of the guest experience. Location is spectacular, with one of the world's best beaches on your doorstep. The building is beautiful, with an old-world charm but modern, renovated rooms and bathrooms. Room was cosy, but had ample storage. The Terrace bar downstairs is laid back and comfortable, and the food is as good as any you will get in Perth. It is a perfect location for Sundowners.

The A/C was a bit clunky/noisy.

Really comfortable bed. Lovely balcony overlooking the beach. The food in the pub was good. The location is fabulous and there's some really excellent restaurants/cafes nearby. Easy walk to the train station for access into Perth and Fremantle. Would absolutely stay here again.

The bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guest and there was some hair on the bathroom floor, and a dirty glass.

I stayed in Room 4 and everything was just as I expected. The private balcony with comfy furniture was an absolute bonus as I enjoyed the 2 complimentary drinks (from the bar downstairs) whilst having the best view ever of a Perth WA sunset. Must recommend the fish and chips that I ordered from the bar/restaurant downstairs with a glass of Italian white wine - although there isn't room service, you just need to order and pay at the counter, and the friendly staff bring the meal up to your room. Special mention to the Manager David, who helped to locate and return an item of clothing that I left behind. Overall, all the staff are very friendly and attentive (especially David, the bar staff and housekeeper). Had the best sleep ever because of that comfy bed and pillows and loved how you could control your own air conditioning (plus a ceiling fan).

If you DO have a car, the parking maybe a bit of a challenge to find a spot if the hotel's free unlimited parking is full (about a dozen available bays). David will give you the best tips for parking at check-in.

We had a lovely stay for our anniversary. Front desk staff were terrific. Fabulous location. Had a snorkel at the beach. Lively bar downstairs (refreshing cocktails on the balcony), but couldn't hear it from our room. Water equipment available to borrow.

We were lucky with parking, but could imagine it would be difficult at times.

This was fantastic for us. We changed our plans soon after arrival and they accommodated us without a hitch. A lovely art deco style hotel with great facilities just literally 2 minutes from the beach ... and the sunset view!! Train is just 15 minutes walk which can take you to freemantle and perth for about $5. We will return there hopefully in the future. Many thanks to Dave and the rest of the staff

The location is perfect! A few steps to the beach. Great bars and restaurants down stairs. All of which seemed to be closed by 11 so no noise at night. Lovely little balcony over looking the beach. Rooms are smallish but perfectly adequate and clean and comfortable. Staff all friendly and helpful. Free coffees and drink on arrival. Will definitely stay again!

Outstanding location on Cottesloe Beach, staff were very friendly/helpful and multiple bar areas downstairs with good food. Room was a little small and the accomodation area a little outdated, but overall was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate. Bed was comfortable, good TV, Aircon/Fan. Of note, whilst is situated above the pub which can be loud, I think its pretty well soundproofed and thus didn't bother me.

As mentioned above, accomodation rooms/area a little dated. Was a little pricey for a small room. Main other concern is they didn't offer breakfast/coffee, I reckon the downstairs bar area would be a great spot for breakfast/coffee.

The location is wonderful. While the rooms are very small , the balcony is roomy and has a beautiful view . I would only take a room with a balcony . The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing is a big deal .

The property is noisy but that dies down at 11. I would have liked a sheet as sometimes the duvet was too hot .
