Comfortable mattress and pillows. Good hot water pressure. Laundry available for guests. Vending machine for drinks and snacks. Usually an inside the motel car parking space available before 6 pm. Lots of cupboard and drawer space. Washing up sink is handy Very effective heating. Preston St IGA is open 24/7 Nice cafes nearby.

Microwave didn't work. No daily housekeeping. Needed to pay $2/small bottle of water for drinking and the kettle. Small smart tv but no streaming availability. Really couldn't open the curtains for a view or let sunshine in as the restaurant patrons and some foot traffic could see right into my room. My room was an interconnecting one, and there was significant noise from the guests talking and from their TV. I'm sure that I created noise too. No visible recycling bins for empty bottles and cans.

Great and safe location as a solo traveller for a 13 night stay in Perth. Very clean with super & always accommodating staff! Twin room with Q + S bed (level 1) - good room space/layout - accessible balcony with large sliding & screen doors to allow fresh airflow. Easy 300m walk up to IGA supermarket (open 24/7) which had a huge variety of fresh fruit/veg & prepared food options and the usual necessities.... as well as several coffee shops, a bakery, newsagent, bottle shop & other eateries in Preston Street. Did not have a car but was less than 350m walk to Transperth Bus stops for regular links to Perth Hockey Stadium/Curtin University for my commitments and also to South Perth shops/ferry/Zoo & to Elizabeth Quay & Perth Stations (city) for train & bus connections across Perth for sightseeing & social occasions. FYI only - Access to level 1 rooms is by approx 15 stairs & no lift .... Did not impact me & was OK on a daily access basis however was great that staff offered to assist with my luggage on arrival & departure.

Small 'Bar fridge" in room with limited `1 shelf storage only & No freezer capacity.

We are from Singapore a family of 3 and we love Australia so kept coming back once or twice a year. Checking in is a breeze and despite there is no lift to second floor, we were offered help to carry our luggage to second floor. The lodge is peaceful and quiet and cleaning staff very friendly and nice. Will book again when in Perth. Lastly, the facilities in the room are exceptionally well kept and clean. We been on many roadtrips in Australia and Windsor Lodge is one of our best accommondation experience so far.

We check in during start of winter June 2024 so get dark very early but lighting along staircase was not lighted up, rather dangerous to climb the stairs. For your information.

The location was GREAT! Whilst the complex is a bit dated, think retro funky, it was super clean, and things supplied in the room ie, kettle, microwave, toaster was very good. The room was nice and spacious enough for us. Breakfast was yummy! So nice and a reasonable price. The young lady serving us was lovely and very competent. All the plants and surrounds looked really nice. We will definitely stay there again. Unfortunately, it was just an overnighter. I would certainly recommend this place to everyone.

Rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. It’s a good location with excellent restaurants within walking distance. Every staff member we encountered was incredible friendly and helpful.

Not enough secure parking for all the guests. The hotel was understaffed so turn down service was only every three days (which meant we didn’t get it at all for our two night stay). It’s understandable but a bit disappointing.

We love the location; it really works for us and even though it's "dated" I find that a cool factor, it's funky. It's super clean and nicely equipped.

The breakfast was very disappointing. Last time we stayed it was the best breakfast we have had anywhere. This time it was terrible. Must have been a different chef. We would go elsewhere for breakfast next time. The coffee was still good.

Location to shops and transport is excellent. Staff always helpful and friendly, parking and security good.

Bed is located straight under air con. Had to sleep with it turned off during heat wave (March 2025). Strangely, that wasn't a real problem but bed could have been on other side of room even though that means one side next to balcony door.🚪

All staff were very friendly & professional. The Lodge location is excellent, with plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby, together with a small shopping centre 5mins walk away. The Lodge was very well maintained and clean.

Stairs only to 2nd floor, which is something I should have checked on myself, due to my knee restrictions. Other than that minor issue, this was the perfect place for me to stay.

Very satisfactory place to stay for 4 nights. Large room with table & chairs, couch and small kitchenette with sink (much easier to wash up kitchen items

Though mostly quiet. The walls are very thin, we could hear people and sounds easily through walls, not great when they're leaving very early in the morning

A clean comfortable hotel in a perfect location for our needs with ample parking in the grounds as well as street parking. As well as a restaurant on the premises there are several coffee shops across the road, other restaurants and an IGA open 24 hours 1 block away. The place does have an old vibe but is in very good condition.

No power points next to the bed.
