The location was great for Perth CBD & surroundings. Alot of things were within walking distance. The apartment itself was spacious, with a balcony & beautiful river views. An IGA is across the road for grocery supplies.

The parking was a nightmare, unfortunately you don't get a spot with the apartment & if you wish to request one - you have to book as they only have 15 spots available & it is an additional cost of $30 per day. There is no free parking anywhere on the streets.

Very central to everything. Fabulous IGA just across the road and plenty of cafes etc close by. Yellow Cat bus just across the road that goes into the city. Good sized room, comfortable bed. Loved the shower!

Would have been nice to have our bed made as part of room service. Other than that was a great place to stay.

Perfect location overlooking a small cove with a lovely balcony. Good facilities, small gym, nice outdoor pool. In the room, fridge, oven, free coffee machine, spotless bathroom with amazing shower. Grocery store, pharmacy, bar/restaurant/coffee shop on the cove, and bottle shop within 1 min walk of reception. Car park extra at $30 Aust dollars (£15) per night. Yellow Cat (free bus) takes you into the the city centre with bus stop 2 min walk, connects with other Cat busses so free transport all over central Perth, yellow Cat bus takes about 15 mins to shops/museums. Coastal walk from hotel to bell tower/harbour area takes about 40 - 50 mins depending on pace, 20 min walk to the Optus stadium, 30 min walk to the WACA.

Parking charge, 10am check out, and a complicated walk to the room from reception (across a covered footbridge, and down 1 flight of stairs)

The location is close to all the required places. Easy to travel to destinations. Staff were so helpful and obliging. The apartment was spacious and clean. IGA near the apartment had an array of food items, including cooked food, for the nights you don't want to eat out. Pub and Cafes are below the apartment. Beautiful walkway along the lake.

Car park not included in price, on-street parking not readily available. Elderly couple who live in the apartments above the pool, yelling at the kids during allowed pool times and inappropriately videoing them without consent or permission.

Located in a beautiful spot with our room overlooking the water. Very nice restaurants below for dinner and breakfast. The walk around the water was stunning. Room was very clean and comfortable. Extremely well priced. I must mention how great the shower head was. Not one of those ones that spat water in every direction. The pool area was also a great little addition. Overall lovely experience and would highly recommend. Only issue we found was that using the parking was an additional $30 and the clearance is 2m exactly, so we had to find other parking arrangements.

The location was great (with convenient free bus to CBD), very pleasant local walks, and the view out to the Swan River inlet was splendid, having a sunny North facing outlook. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and spacious enough. Pool was lovely - at selected times (although we are learning the importance of holidaying outside school holidays, as most people will know, kids take over a pool and it's never relaxing when they're playing in it).

Minor issues only: the rainhead shower had great water flow, but one of us prefers a shower head on a hose; you needed to be careful with your feet with door stop on floor infront of the toilet and level change between carpeted room and tiled kitchen area; the basin tap sprayed water into the bathroom (and onto you) from the sloping basin unless you were very careful (we both got wet); and no salt or pepper included with supplies (who buys salt and pepper for a short-term stay?).

I love the location and the beautiful riverfront view. The neighbourhood is very safe, and I chose this location because I've lived here in the past and love what the area offers, and it's quick access to town via the free yellow cat bus. There is also easy access to a few popular eating places downstairs and is a lovely place to take a walk, with a park nearby. There are ducks in the river and in the park, and I enjoyed walking around on one of the mornings when the weather was nice. The service was wonderful, staff were friendly and helpful when I had questions. The room was very clean and well laid out, spacious.

There's nothing to dislike. I wish I could have opened a window but I understand why they lock them.

This was a lovely hotel in a great spot overlooking the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful and advised me of the free yellow CAT bus stop was nearby which took you into the centre of town and back. There was a washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests use.

The only thing that wasn’t good was the Wi-Fi. I was continually knocked out and it didn’t seem to matter what time of the day it was. Other than that it was a good place to stay and if I was back in Perth I would certainly think of staying here again.

Really enjoyed my stay! The location was great—nice and quiet, very clean, and surrounded by lovely parks for walking. Plus, it was only about a 25-minute walk to the city center, which was super convenient. The staff were friendly, and the pool area was a big highlight—comfortable sunbeds, clean water, and a great spot to relax. My room was the perfect size and spotless. Overall, a great experience!

Had a nice stay overall, but I found the 10 AM checkout a bit too early—maybe that’s just how it is in Australia! Luckily, the reception manager was super nice and let me hang out for a couple of hours at the reception and by the pool until my flight. Really appreciated that!

I always enjoy my stay at East Perth Suites. I most love how quiet the rooms are after staying at a number of other hotels which were noisy all night long! I also love that u can pop over to the lovely IGA for food so easily.

This last visit sadly the shower wasn’t cleaned properly and smelled like urine, but the cleaner fixed that when she serviced the room the next day. And unfortunately some ferals who had stayed in that room prior hid dirty nappies in with the ironing board ( not your fault ) . But none of this means I won’t be back… unless a stinky shower becomes a regular thing.
