Everything was great, especially the lady on reception when I checked in. She was very helpful

Perhaps the noise level between rooms. My neighbour decided to run a bath very early on Sunday morning and it sounded like the bath was actually being run in my room

The staff are great! Very professional at concierge albeit somewhat formal (which is expected). I found wait staff, chefs, housekeeping were all exceptional and very willing to help - hands down the best place I’ve been to in this respect! The breakfast is PHENOMENAL. Caters for a broad range of tastes and dietary requirements! (I especially loved being able to have veggies, dumplings and congee as well as the usual hot breakfast items)….. I frequently saw staff cleaning high touch surfaces such as lift buttons, doors etc. it’s the first place I’ve seen that’s actually continued to overtly demonstrate commitment to enhanced hygiene. Some of the rooms are older - but they are SPOTLESS.

The only thing I’d say is there are renovation/construction areas - the point is, it’s part of maintaining and upgrading the hotel! If you’re after a place to sleep during the daytime (which some of my travel does involve) it might not be suited to you. One other thing to watch - sometimes you won’t be able to swipe into your room if you’re approaching checkout time at 11am (I also need to take better note of my time)

Still has the Hyatt look and feel. Rooms are a good size and well appointed. The room on this stay had a walk-in shower (which I requested). Housekeeping team were good. Water and tea replenished daily. Great location. Really good IGA Supermarket close by.

The price is a high for what you get. Limited on-site food and beverage service. Some facilities seem "moth-balled". Bar near reception is closed, the lounge on levels 8 and 9 is not operational, the lift takes you to the "Plaza" level but the doors are locked, the escalators to the Plaza level from reception are not operational, pool area looks neglected. "Grubs" onsite restaurant (if you can call it that) has very limited options and opening hours.

The mattress on the king bed is quite old and needs replacing. It has poor motion isolation—when one person rolls over, the other is woken up during the night.

The cost of parking underneath was exorbitant, and the boom gate wasn't working for nearly 4 days of our stay. when we pressed the help button, we were constantly interrogated which was quite off putting. on one occasion we weren't allowed out! No apology and no offer of compensation. Even a free night's parking would have made a difference in our experience. The staff clearly have standard answers to questions which we felt was impersonal.

The location was very good. Walking distance to Elizabeth Quay and Perth centre, but a bus stop right outside if necessary. The swimming pool and gym were great, towels supplied and the area scrupulousy clean and tidy. Our room was clean and well presented, sheets and towels a good quality. Our only gripe would be that when booking, the room was described as having a view but this wasn't the case. There was a window that overlooked the inner part of the hotel. We queried this and were moved to a lovely room with a view of the river but had to pay extra. However, that aside, this was a lovely hotel with very pleasant, helpful staff.

The bed was particularly comfortable Everything else was excellent The view of the Swan River was stunning

We were on extreme time constraints and arrived 1.40pm so that we'd be checked in by at least 2pm Instead we were 5th in the queue and didn't get checked in until 2.30 This was particularly nerve racking I mentioned this to the Receptionist and all I got was excuses Even though there were 2 on Reception, one of them was held up with a Customer up until we reached the counter We found it very difficult finding entry at approximate 11pm, there wasn't sufficient signage on the main Entrance at St George Tce, so we had to walk to find where to enter, not condusive when tired and wearing heals

Beautiful hotel. Got there early and room was ready. Very comfortable bed and 2 queen beds in my room. Had everything I needed. Didn’t get to use the huge pool but stay wasn’t long enough. Got a great deal on this hotel. Buses are directly outside for travelling to city. Free red bus 1 block away. The grand foyer is incredible. Plenty of space. Cold water for you on entry. This used to be the Grand Hyatt Regency. Cafe downstairs very handy and the best coffee and orange muffin were to die for.

The view from my room was awful. No view of city or river which I had requested. There are works going on down on ground floor outside.

This is at the eastern end of cbd. Didn’t need a car, free buses exploring Perth outside and walks along river. Not a great deal of dining close by, but a good IGA and bottle shop on site. Cafe open for breakfast and takeaway sandwiches/coffee till 10.30 am. Breakfast was varied and extensive, if a little pricey. Cheaper rooms are a long way from the lifts, so you get fit. Great pool, so stay 2 nights if you can to enjoy that. Would recommend as long as you don’t mind a little trek to meals. It’s quieter than staying right in centre. Beautiful decor and comfy clean rooms. Lots of artwork. Good concierge who helped with bus info.

The satff were very helpful , rooms gad plenty of room with king bes and desk . the hotel is developing a small shopping precinct which once complete will be excellent currently has a handy supermarket with hot and cold food . a liquor store and a mexican takeaway.

The parking is expensive at $30 per day hotel supplied we had 2 cars and stayed for 4 mights so would be $240 . You can pay direct to the parking provider but check they are charging correctly as we had to challenge the charge on 2 occasions as it charged $35 when it should have been $15 weekend rate .

Room, bed comfort, staff, cleanliness and guest lounge area on level 8 was fantastic. Loved the fact we could alter room temperature ourselves and the guest lounge on level 8 was available for use. Also loved the view from the window and general feel of the hotel.

Hotel bar and cafe was rather disappointing. Grubs cafe (not an inviting name) was very basic on all offerings and opening hours too limited. Bar hours were limited too, and noting the location of the hotel and limited other offerings around the venue were a major disappointment. Not having an attractive food venue in the hotel means that guests need to leave to find something. In the absence of providing this there should at least be information available from the front desk about options within walking distance,... the only option suggested to us was Uber eats! Coffee bar on level 8 should have china mugs not paper cups for guest use. A cup of tea in the morning from a small paper cup is a poor reflection and not to the standard of the hotel.
