We had a beautiful friendly gentleman at reception when checking in. very helpful and the store/ deli across the road was great.

The lady on checkout was very rude and I think I got her the phone when I rang during the week to ask a question and it was like she couldn’t be bothered.

Great 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for short stay.

Could have been cleaner, The floor felt gritty and sticky so we had to keep shoes on.There were stains on the sofa. Bedrooms were really hit at night. Need a/c or at least a fan. Had to get up and turn lounge room a/c on and leave bedroom doors open but then no privacy. Tea and coffee provided but no milk. A heads up would have been good so we could have taken some. No shower in the ensuite, only a bath which was weird so 4 ladies ended up sharing one shower.

Mont Clare has a very good location surrounded by very nice coffee shops and restaurants, near to a museum, very quite area, just few steps from the bus stop and 10min by bus from the city center (or 17min by walk) for me it was great. The staff was absolutely wonderful with me, the reception team including Mathew, the housekeeper lady who I forgot the name and obviously the Mr Wayan who was the adorable is the general maintenance worker. I stayed for 3 weeks and I really recommend the property. If I could recommend an improvement would be the cleaning part.

Good location within easy walking distance to Perth CBD. Roomy and comfortable apartment.

The fridge hadn't been cleaned between guest stays, there was old food left in the fridge. No instructions on how to work the washing machine.

Room was very modern, new flooring, carpeting, ammenities and paint. Can see the service is gradually upgrading their premises.

Entirely not their fault as I forgot to mention in the booking but using the stairs to get from the fifth floor to sixth was difficult at times (mainly with luggage) as my Dad is quite unwell ( kidney, heart and lungs) and I have severe inflammatory arthritis. Although wifi was better than previous stays was still spotty.

Didn’t like being abused for parking in the wrong bay by I’m guessing someone who lives at the property, the parking does need to have better signage so people who have booked don’t end up parking in the residents parking spots, the guy was really rude and abusive and he could have handled himself better, we ended up parking on the street which isn’t ideal.

It was spacious and roomy! I had access to everything I needed- washing machine, iron, ironing board, a balcony. Very convenient.

My floor smelt like someone had been smoking about 4 packs a day inside but my room was alright- just as it warmed up during. The day it was pretty pungent. The washing machine had old detergent left in the tray and was a bit yuck. I was surprised to not get a face washer in the linen, but I made do with what I had.

Bed are a hard call, everyone is different, so we carry a queen sized topper when travelling by car, just in case the beds are to hard. The bed here was ok, but just not for my back, I prefer softer. The staff were great they did offer to find a softer one for me, so big shout out for them. They also were up to date on where to catch busses and other ideas if required.

As with all things perhaps its getting more expensive than we liked, however it was certainly not the most expensive place we stayed on the holiday, and it was very handy to everything we needed.
