Broadwater Resort Como was a great place for a family to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone finding a hotel in the area. It is close to a bus stop that goes to Perth City and has amenities like a barbeque, a spa, a sauna and a pool. It is a great hotel and the room was amazing.

Some of the pool lights were too bright which affected my vision underwater. The pool was also dirty with some leaves all around the pool floor. I was told that it pool was heated but at night it definitely was not. There was some wear and tear all around the room and the toilets were extremely dirty. Also, the rack for the toilet paper didn't work and due to this, the roll kept falling off and was extremely annoying.

The apartments have been renovated since I last stayed there, with a large shower instead of the spa bath they used to have. Rooms are spacious and a great home away from home. All the rooms have balconies or courtyards and easy access to the pool. Secure parking included, with extra street parking if needed. The gardens are tropical and well established. We were able to pick figs from trees to eat! I had an apartment to myself as my husband was at work, so I phoned to ask if my room could be made with 2 single beds in case my granddaughter wanted to stay with me. (She did) The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, including an oven, hotplate and microwave. Perfect for cooking meals if needed. Love that each apartment has its own washing machine and dryer! Very convenient if staying for a few days and needing to wash bathers etc. (pool towels are available but I had my own) I was staying with my family, who had a large apartment. I like that we could have our own space, but easily get to each other’s apartment without having to walk miles of go in lifts.

There is still work to be done on renovating the property. The pool is still quite usable but in need of refurbishing. I hope one day they may replace the cobbled style paving around the property with something that is quieter as it’s very noisy when people are pulling suitcases around. The person I spoke to when I phoned to ask some questions was hard to understand and hung up on me twice. The person on reception when I checked in wasn’t very friendly, until I mentioned that we used to stay there frequently and then they seemed to turn into a different person! Very strange.

I love the relaxed feel of the property. Established gardens, spacious apartments. TV in living area and bedroom. Secure parking. Washing machine and dryer.

We had requested a quiet apartment if possible and found that there was a family right next door. They were very noisy when they arrived, but not at night time so it was ok. It would be nice to have the option of breakfast in the restaurant, although I know it is a separate business now. We could walk up the street to cafes so it was ok. I didn’t find the bed particularly comfortable. Too firm for me.

The property is lovely and it is excactly as what we are expected. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and just 5 - 10 mins walk to cafes, restaurants, bus stop and supermarket wich make it very convenient. Our family realy enjoyed our stay. The only things that is a little bit off is that the mosquito net on windows and the door are dusty. And there are no curtain/glass door on the shower to keep the water from splasing on the bathroom floor. And there is no holder for soap and shampoo bottle so we have to put them on the floor.

Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment for 3x days with family couple. Location Price nice pool and surrounds and restaurant.

The couches are old and need replacing. The blinds were damaged in kitchen and dining area. Lacked character was very dull with no decorating style. One set of towels for 3xdays? and condiments were inadequite. Had to ask ,even then every day,equalled to one cup tea a day.? Other than those vital things. The beds and showers were good. Need to restock more and do room servicing.

The Broadwater is a great place for independent travellers. It is ideally situated out of the busy city, but with excellent bus services in Perth CBD. The apartments are spacious and are serviced regularly by excellent staff. Across the footbridge you can walk out on the jetty or take a walk down the river, lots of seating areas to watch the river and the pelicans sail past. There is an excellent supermarket five minutes walk away which is open24 hrs a day.

Very good accomodation.

The downsides are that a two-sided sheet has been used on the quilt. I was expecting a proper duvet cover and it was really annoying that the voice command was repeated out loud every time I used the tv remote. Please disable this feature, or only enable it if someone specifically needs it.

We stayed for just over a week and it was perfect. Roomy, kitchen facilities, heated spa with a pool. Our stay included Xmas day and NYE. The venue sent out suggestions of where to source food which was a nice touch. And during the cleaning of the room a bottle of hair product was broken and they called me to tell wk they’d ordered a replacement that was delivered within hours.

The kitchen could have done with a few more cooking utensils but that’s it really.

It is a great place to rest & relax overlooking iconic Swan River. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a very clean and aesthetically pleasing environment. It is located in a central location close to all required services when on a holiday. In house restaurant was a great bonus with so many other restaurants within close proximity. The apartment was ready for us way before the usual check in time which is greatly appreciated as we had a very bad experience with accommodation the previous night with another provider.

The whole stay was a pleasure. Having a kitchen,washing machine and dryer in the apartment made life easy too. Super clean. Nice pool and BBQ facilities

Scheduled cleaning was once every 4 days. Not a big issue but every second day would have been nice. The cleaning staff did an excellent job when they did come though. Kind of understandable considering the cost of labour in oz.
