Lots of unchecked noise in corridors from other guests late into evening. In my dorm 2 beds are right next to eathor rather then bunkbeds WHY? I do not want to feel like I am sharing a bed with a stranger. Bunk beds are fine, would be better if the wood paneling on bottom bunk went all around bed and the top bunks. Would blokc a bit more sound and light in shared room.

Stayed at a&o Hostel Graz and absolutely loved it! The staff were super friendly - they greeted us with a smile, gave great tips about the city, and were always happy to help. Our room was spotless, simple but really comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The atmosphere was great - really relaxed, friendly, and fun. Loved hanging out in the lounge, grabbing a snack at the bar, and chatting with other travelers. Honestly, I would totally recommend this place. Perfect location, clean rooms, and such a nice vibe - can’t wait to come back!

Well equipped, modern. For me, economy was the main consideration at this travel. I could park for free one and a half kilometers away, and my program was two and a half kilometers away. All shops and transportation are available in the immediate vicinity, I have already stayed in the elite room of the IntercityHotel Graz (next corner), but the price there is seven to ten times higher. A particularly positive aspect is that several rooms are ideal for families, furnished for 4-6-8 people.

Basically, it's a well-designed and clean house, but there are flaws and it's very expensive to repair, so not everything is always in good condition.

The location was very convenient, very close to the railway station. The price was good. There was a possibility to leave our baggage before the check-in and after the check-out. There was a communal kitchen. Toiletries and towels were there.

The room was a bit rigid. I think making it feel a little warmer might make the stay more pleasant (a painting, a lamp that looks more cozy). Just small details, but they make a big difference. It’s okay for a night or two, since we mainly just slept there, but the whole experience could be a lot better.

I like that the room was spacious and it has a modern bathroom. In bathroom you could find tissues, shampoo, and a foot towel changed daily. Shower area is of a good size and you can put your goods there. There was a full size mirror in the room.

Beds could be more comfortable. I hit my head several times, as an upper bed is relatively low. I felt like in a dwarf's place. What could be improved: - no electrical sockets near to each bed, - no lockers - curtains on the beds could give some privacy.

The hostel/hotel was the perfect, cost-effective solution for us when looking for a large, multi-bed room to bring a group of kids to a weekend sports event in Graz. It is conveniently located close to the Hauptbahnhof for train, tram and bus connections to the city centre and other locations, thus providing a perfect base for exploring the city's Altstadt. The breakfast satisfied our expectations and the staff were cheerful and helpful. There is a luggage room, where we could leave our belongings until check-in time.

Although the room (6 bed family room), WC and bathroom looked clean, the decor was a little shabby and the toilet smelt strongly of urine. Perhaps it's time to update the facilities and replace the toilet. When we arrived the two single beds had been made up but the 4 bunk beds were lacking bed linens. These were provided on request at reception and we put them on ourselves. Towels were also only given on request tp be carried up to the room by us. Not a problem for us, but be aware that this is essentially a hostel, so don't expect the full hotel service.

Location is a 4 minute walk from the train station and a 6 minute walk from Lidl. The receptionists are hardworking, friendly and efficient, whilst the property itself has a communal kitchen to offer guests and inside storage for bicycles. There is naturally a bar and coffee available too, to buy. There is a decent sized common area for working and socialising alongside a pool table and 48 player table football. Lots of books can be found around too. I would recommend 100% as the rooms were spacious and clean with complimentary shower gel. Good value overall.

Quick and easy check in. The room was very scarcely furnished but everything was in okay to good condition and clean. The window sill that goes around the entire room is top notch, you can put so much stuff there. Good experience with my roommates too; the whole hostel was quiet! The place is close to the main train station; shopping is not a problem. I was not asked to pay extra for the bedding or towels. Really solid stay for the low price I paid.

Lockers would be nice. Bedding was borderline ratty and if I need to put it on myself, why is there the late check in time? Doors are loud so if you are a light sleeper you won't get much sleep. The room has radiators and when I arrived one was on max heating, in August. Ridiculous 🥵

Despite low ranking and some negative opinion, we got more than we expected for the price. Hotel located in the center, rooms clean. There is a hotel parking at the backyard, paid parking 100 meters from the hotel but we parked on the street nearby (allowed).

1. No air-condition in rooms - hotel located on the noisy street so if you close windows temperature gets high. 2. When we came for check in (10 pm) it was only 1 person from the crew responsible for checkins and hotel bar. So, big que of people waiting to be checked in and to get a beer. Frustration was on both sides.
