I was here at Tauern SPA for the third or fourth time. Everything remained as we knew it, a wonderful place to relax.

A small dissatisfaction was related to the restaurant staff, especially in the evening at dinner. Some are a bit inattentive, slow and in a big hurry to get rid of customers when it's close to closing time. They should be watched more closely..

The property was absolutely incredible - room was nice and well equipped. Cleaning and mini bar refill was done daily free of charge. We have half board and the food was amazing. The spa of the hotel was excellent. I would choose again this hotel and it was great value for the money

The hotel is a 4* one and all facilities are supposed to be exquisite, however the hotel does not have a shuttle to the slopes and it relies on the public transport of the city. This may sound great until you have to wait in the morning 3-4 buses (that come every 15’) to get in and same when you get back. If you want to use the bus at lunch time (for example) the bus comes every 30’. I have lost a lot of time waiting for the bus or I had to take the car… I have stayed before at other accommodations in Kaprun and even if these were not 4* there was a shuttle service available.

The breakfast and dinner were amazing. Almost everything you could thing of, you could have. The Romanian boy from the restaurant and bar, Razvan, was very helfull and kind, always smiling and served us so well. I have a fantastic massage. I must say Petra from the spa was soooo gooood. Overall it was a very good stay.

The check in was terrible, as the girls at the front desk were overwhelmed. The system wasn't working, they made us to wait. After a while we asked her to at least give us a key to put our skis and boots in the ski room. She said it was impossible as the system was not working. We insisted and irritated, she finally came with us to the ski room, bombing. This should not be the welcome at this famous hotel. Room a bit small for 2 adults and a 14 year old child.

Very nice and spacious room with great mountain view and really good soundproof. The hotel in general was very clean. The breakfast was really great and they had us a table at the bar so we could have breakfast with our dog! The free mini bar was a good thing. Really nice location in nature watching the mountains from the spa and feeling really relaxing. The warm pools have really great temperature.

The pillows and the mattress were not good at all. You expect to have a great sleep in very comfort bed in such a supposed relaxing hotel and taking into consideration the really expensive rates. What was really disappointing was the fact that we informed the reception about a bed bug we found in a spa towel but they were not really interested. They just said "oh sorry" ... The check out gift was really poor and not even relevant with spa! The staff in the bar was in general arrogant and inpolite

Everything was fantastic! The room was big, clean and had a wonderful view. The hotel had a bar and fireplace area super cozy for having a drink with friends. The restaurant had excellent food - it would just have been nice to know the themes of each evening in advance. The SPA and the access to the Therme - absolutely worth it after a day of skiing. Nice view from the outside pools (just the right temperature) and from the family sauna. Excellent wet sauna in the adult-only area of the SPA. There is a ski bus right in front of the hotel connecting to both Kaprun and Zell-am-See skiing areas.

The hotel-restricted part of the Therme seemed to be less taken cared of during weekdays compared to the weekend. The towels were not replaced unless asked for, no more fruits and snacks available.

Room, spa facilities, cleanness of saunas and amazing views

Dinner, main course option was rather limited and didn’t like the taste and quality of foods in menu. Busy restaurant and waitress. Didn’t make sense water was not served free and had to pay. and waitresses were serving tables selectively and unequally, had to wait long to order.For breakfast, very limited type of tea bags which was not at the level of this hotel, couldn’t find a classic green tea. Open tea pots were there only for decoration which was weird.

Everything except the pillows - location - free parking available - the room is enough space for 3 people - the bed matress was comfy - the closet room was spacious with a lot of handles - mirrors everywhere - the toilet is a seperate room from the shower. - the terrace has an amazing view - the food was really good and the variety was huge. I wish I could have taken photos for each section - we had a nice gift at checkout

- the pillows were too soft, once u put ur head it flattens out, kindda useless

Fantastic place, worth every penny. It's was very easy to get to the slopes from the hotel by a ski bus and the bus stop was just next to the spa entrance. The food at the hotel was so great, such a treat. Also, there were lots of tasty and healthy vegan options. We had to leave the hotel very early in the morning to catch the flight back and the staff was so kind and prepared a vegan breakfast bag for us! The spa amenities were a perfect addition to our stay. Nothing better than recovering at sauna after a long day on the slope. And as for saunas, there are so so many of them, I've never seen a place with such a variety. We really did enjoy this stay, it was actually sad that we had to go back home :)

Spa, sauna, facilities, service absolutely great. They were able to acomodate our every need: we asked for a hdmi cable so that I can connect my laptop to the tv to watch a movie (they were prepared to do that, also they didn’t charge us anything), they made us a breakfast to go - as we had to leave very early in the morning.

The only real downside is the fact that the food is a little bit of a lower quality compared to everything else the hotel has to offer. The food was ok, don’t get me wrong, but I would have prefferd it to be a little more higher restaurant quality

Staff is very friendly. With arriving we received a drink and a small gift for kids. Everything is organised well, with bathrobes and slippers for the spa. Buffet breakfast and diner are good as well, lots of choice. Even for difficult eaters

Its a very high price for staying in this hotel and even than there are no coffee or a waterboiler for thea in de room. We where travelling with a kid so we would like to have our thea in the room in stead of sitting in the bar. Same with other drinks. Even a glass of water with the diner is paying extra, what is just crazy because bottles of water are free in the room, than why not free during diner? Such a simple thing could be included for this price. Pillows are terrible
