Stunning location, beautifully presented hotel, room was spacial, lots of parking available, pools immaculate and varied. We were half board and the food offerings were plentiful and high quality, great buffet with an a la cart main and sweet for evening meal and again great buffet for breakfast with a chef to make omelettes to order..Received a small gift from hotel on departure too which is a nice touch.

Small issue is the shower room door was glass, along with part of the side wall, I was a father and daughter travelling together, easy enough to sit on the balcony whilst other showering. Unsure if all rooms have this feature.

I was here at Tauern SPA for the third or fourth time. Everything remained as we knew it, a wonderful place to relax.

A small dissatisfaction was related to the restaurant staff, especially in the evening at dinner. Some are a bit inattentive, slow and in a big hurry to get rid of customers when it's close to closing time. They should be watched more closely..

The property was absolutely incredible - room was nice and well equipped. Cleaning and mini bar refill was done daily free of charge. We have half board and the food was amazing. The spa of the hotel was excellent. I would choose again this hotel and it was great value for the money

The hotel is a 4* one and all facilities are supposed to be exquisite, however the hotel does not have a shuttle to the slopes and it relies on the public transport of the city. This may sound great until you have to wait in the morning 3-4 buses (that come every 15’) to get in and same when you get back. If you want to use the bus at lunch time (for example) the bus comes every 30’. I have lost a lot of time waiting for the bus or I had to take the car… I have stayed before at other accommodations in Kaprun and even if these were not 4* there was a shuttle service available.

I would like to start by addressing our congratulations to a few members of the hotel staff: Mr. Marco from the reception who was very helpful throughout our stay, very professional, gave us very useful advice, and presented us with great detail the attractions in the Kaprun-Zell am See area! Congratulations! Thanks also to our waiter from the first days, Mr. Badreddine, always with a smile on his face and very attentive to the customers! Also to Mrs. Claudia, from the Sky pool, our thanks. Overall the hotel and the services met our expectations, the spa and thermal areas very clean, the water in A relaxing stay, good hotel, with good service, clean rooms, very kind housekeeping

On the other hand, we can say that we were somewhat disappointed that our request for dinner was not taken into account, considering that my wife only eats chicken or pork, we would have expected the manager or chef to take this into account! A minus would be the behavior of the restaurant manager, who allowed himself within a few minutes to yell at an employee and then to point a threatening finger and attract the attention of a waitress in an extremely harsh tone! From my point of view, observations should be made elsewhere, never in front of customers! It was sad to see how the girl had a tear in her eye, blushing all over Maybe for the balcony it would be good to put a table

Nice suspended pools, nice spa area with drinks and snacks available. Very good serving in the restaurant, staff is really doing their best. Reception and concierge also very nice and helpful. High quality products and good food.

We arrived at 8 pm and still had to wait until 11 pm to get our rooms. This is unacceptable. We did not make a claim as the reception staff was very nice doing their best but still this experience was bad for us. It was August and very hot outside. They don't have air conditioning to cool the room and on top of that HEAT was coming through their system. The problem persisted the whole stay, very uncomfortable. No bell boy, we carried our luggage from the car and then the receptionist helped us to take it to the room.

Warm and friendly staff and crew. Modern, rich and perfectly maintained spa. Dizzy open air (literary in the air) swimming pool. Cozy and large room at the ground floor with fascinating view, nice small terrace with furniture and a small, almost private, garden to walk barefoot in the grass. Free mineral water and juices in the cooler. Large and very well managed restaurant with good food buffet and unobtrusive but attentive waiters (especially Roko), nice menus with a lot of variety and local produce. Great parking, easy access to Kaprun and further on to Zell am See. Must be beautiful to have walks in the mountains, but - unfortunately - we did not have good weather for that.

The breakfast and dinner were amazing. Almost everything you could thing of, you could have. The Romanian boy from the restaurant and bar, Razvan, was very helfull and kind, always smiling and served us so well. I have a fantastic massage. I must say Petra from the spa was soooo gooood. Overall it was a very good stay.

The check in was terrible, as the girls at the front desk were overwhelmed. The system wasn't working, they made us to wait. After a while we asked her to at least give us a key to put our skis and boots in the ski room. She said it was impossible as the system was not working. We insisted and irritated, she finally came with us to the ski room, bombing. This should not be the welcome at this famous hotel. Room a bit small for 2 adults and a 14 year old child.

If you like relaxation and SPA - this is the right place. In the middle of the breathtaking mountains and after driving the Grossglockner High Alpine Road this is the perfect spot for us. Our room was wonderful (Nature Plus Room with balcony and mountain view) and the bed was very comfy - sometimes I have problems with sleeping in a hotel - not here. The Spa is great, many different pools and spots, breakfast and dinner was spectacular with an extra themed buffet in addition to the served dinner. They have a great ground floor garage where we could park our low Corvettes without any problems and the bus stop in front of the hotel is very convenient if you plan to go to Zell am See or to the Kitzsteinhorn and don't want to drive with your car. Everything was perfect as always. It was our third visit here and we will come again and again and again.

Very nice and spacious room with great mountain view and really good soundproof. The hotel in general was very clean. The breakfast was really great and they had us a table at the bar so we could have breakfast with our dog! The free mini bar was a good thing. Really nice location in nature watching the mountains from the spa and feeling really relaxing. The warm pools have really great temperature.

The pillows and the mattress were not good at all. You expect to have a great sleep in very comfort bed in such a supposed relaxing hotel and taking into consideration the really expensive rates. What was really disappointing was the fact that we informed the reception about a bed bug we found in a spa towel but they were not really interested. They just said "oh sorry" ... The check out gift was really poor and not even relevant with spa! The staff in the bar was in general arrogant and inpolite

The staff was super nice and helpful. We were welcomed very warmly, got informed about everything. The rooms are ready from 15 p.m., but we've received a private locker to change and be able to use the swimming area. We could leave our car in the garage and from there we could reach the hotel directly. The swimming area was super cool and relaxing. We had a nice room with balcony, and the best thing was, for the hotel guests there is a private Skylinepool and Spa available that is adults only, and it's amazing. The breakfast buffet is very rich, various fresh foods are included.

The bed was quite hard. The chairs in the room and on the balcony were quite old, they could be changed.
