We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our kids. The rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. Daily housekeeping was excellent. The view of the mountains from the rooms was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast, prepared by the hotel owners, was truly amazing—every product was fresh and delicious. The owners were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making us feel right at home. The hotel’s location is perfect: just a 10-minute walk to the Penkenbahn lift and only a 3-minute walk to the town center with all the cafes, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. The value for money is outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this family-run hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch that made our stay truly memorable. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, making it easy to unwind after a busy day exploring. The location is fantastic—central, convenient, and within easy walking distance to many key attractions, shops, and restaurants. It was the perfect base for our trip. And we must mention the breakfast—easily one of the best we’ve had in a long time! A wide variety of delicious, high-quality options, beautifully presented and clearly prepared with care. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’re looking for a welcoming, well-located hotel with top-notch service and comfort, this is the one! We’ll definitely be back.

Not all rooms had kettles

Fantastic location, exceptional service and very clean! Breakfast was delicious and fresh ...the local home made jam was a delight! We were a party of 7 with a family of 4 in the suite and it was perfect. All rooms had a great vista and Elizabeth was so helpful and attentive. There is a great little walk along the river to the main penken ski lift which was fast and direct (helpful when you need to get your children to their ski lesson on time!) but equally well situated to all the best local restaurants! Lastly I wish I had made more effort to use the saunas, they were super clean and so refreshing, with a variety to choose from. Definitely putting this one on my revisit list!

My room, albeit small as it was a single room, was spotlessly clean and beautiful. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and so tastefully decorated. It is a beautiful place to stay. The breakfast every morning was delicious, with a huge choice of cereals, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, croissants and I was offered egg and bacon as well! The ladies, Elizabeth and her staff, were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Every time I walked in I was met with a gorgeous smell of candles and a lovely homely feeling. It is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I would have liked a kettle in my room but when I mentioned it to Elizabeth she said I could make myself cups of tea in the dining room whenever I liked up to 10pm. So a kettle was not needed.

We previously visited Mayrhofen and the beautiful Hotel, Glockenstuhl way back in 2011 when we indulged in some very novice skiiing! We'd had a lovely experience but regretfully hadn't had chance to go back in the interim, so this was something we were really looking forward to and certainly didn't disappoint. This is a beautiful family run hotel with a thoroughly welcoming and relaxing vibe. Proprietor Elizabeth (and her super helpful sister Margaret) ensured we had a lovely apartment lounge/bedroom/mini kitchen setup with en suite bathroom and loo. View over the alps from our room was breathtaking. Atmosphere was invariably relaxed and welcoming and facilities were first rate. There's an amazing wellness centre located in the basement with an elevator allowing you to go straight from your floor to the basement and discreetly enter. We were there every evening and our skin is now like velvet! Breakfast offered a wide range of fruits, breads, eggs, bacon and various meats plus fruit juices, tea and coffee. We were stuffed until teatime!

Beautifully styled, traditional family run hotel. Fantastic owners and staff who always make you feel valued and welcome. No problem with parking on site. Very clean and well appointed room. The hot and cold buffet breakfast is outstanding. The breakfast room has a great atmosphere. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others and our view is that it represents excellent value for money when compared with other hotels.

Beautiful traditional hotel with great views from the balcony, close to the town center and the cable car. The host Mrs. Elisabeth and all the staff were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was big and clean, the breakfast was delicious with wide variety of options. Car parking is comfortable just in front of the hotel. Now we stayed for two nights but because off the wonderful experience we will definitely come back for the skiing season

Modern rooms, lovely bathroom and great view. Breakfast was great and included bacon/eggs. Spa was lovely and clean. The staff were all very friendly.

The pillows weren’t comfortable and the reception, dining area and rooms were so warm - even without the heating on we had to open the window/door overnight and we couldn’t go down to breakfast in our ski gear. There was also no-one at reception when we arrived so we were hanging around for 30 mins before check in.

First of all, I have been coming to this resort for 20 years and I have stayed in many hotels/guest houses. This is my favourite by far. It felt like I was staying with my family. The ladies who run this hotel are amazing. They are attentive, friendly, caring and super helpful. Breakfast was delicious, it had everything we needed, in a cute dining room with alpine and garden views. A great start to the day. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with the traditional modern Austrian theme. The house keepers were great. The location is perfect, a little walk to the lift with lots of restaurants and shops close by. Also the sauna area was awesome. I can’t explain how amazing our stay was. It felt like I was staying at my aunties house.

The owners and staff were so welcoming and friendly, they were very helpful and genuinely wanted us to have the best time within Mayrhofen. We were greeted with schnapps and breakfast was delightful each day. The location was perfect as it was very close to the train station, right below the beautiful mountain and close to the chairlift for Penken. Facilities including wellness centre were great and the rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard. We were also given goodbye gifts of chocolate and biscuits! Will be back for sure.

The rooms were slightly too hot and we didn’t know how to turn the heat down but that’s our own fault for not asking. Once we opened windows and door it was fine.
