The hotel is an easy 5-minute stroll from the railway station, making arrival by train easy. Check-in was quick, friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, with plenty of space to hang clothes, a sofa, table and chairs, etc. And the room design is beautiful, with lots of wood paneling. The balcony had a lovely view and - luckily, due to the weather being a little damp - was covered, so we could enjoy it even when there was rain. Breakfast was served buffet style with a good number of options and quality produce, and they offered to cook eggs and bacon too (we're light breakfasters, so the choice on the buffet was already plentiful for us!) The two cable cars of Mayrhofen are easily reached from the hotel on foot, one about 10 minutes away and the other within 15 minutes. That plus being close to the train and bus station made it really convenient for exploring the Zillertal valley.

Our room was above the street, and with the windows open to keep the room cool there was a little noise (partly from people, but also due to the nearby church's bells, which thankfully don't ring all night!)

Clean, tidy, beautifully authentic Austrian hotel with personal service spacious rooms and fantastic value for money. Nice breakfast and superb coffee in the morning. Also great ski storage room and our gear was dry by morning.

I kept forgetting to ask for another pillow because the one in the room was a bit thin should have done it sooner I’m sure they would have supplied another

Beautiful, alpine style hotel, exceptionally clean, very comfortable in a great central location. Very well run. English speaking staff. Excellent breakfast. Good facilities. We had a huge room with a shared balcony. Small rear garden to enjoy with kids swing, sandpit and toys. Easy stroll to shops, bars, cafes, train station, cable cars...very convenient. Mayrhofen itself being a stunning town with huge range of activities and attractions on offer, a really special place.

There was an over the bath shower without a shower screen or shower curtain so it was near impossible to shower without getting water all over the floor. Also I'm not sure how it hasn't seemingly been mentioned in other reviews but the hotel, like many others around in that area, is opposite the church. It's a really beautiful setting but the bells chime every 15 mins and on the hour from 7am to 11pm. The 7am wake up 'ring' being pretty substantial...obviously this has nothing to do with the hotel itself.....but the area may not suit those who go to bed early or like to wake up late....unless you sleep like a bear ofcourse.

Cosy, comfortable, very clean with excellent breakfast. Facilities as advertised. Very nice room with recent renovations to bathroom.

Double bed (double mattress) instead of two singles would have been even better

We had a spacious room with two balconies.The owner was very hospitable and was able to accommodate us at short notice after we were let down by our first accommodation option

Some extra facilities like a spa would have made it perfect.

We liked the location it is a walking distance to the lifts, we also liked the property itself very cosy family hotel with a lot of attention to the details.

Excellent location, good view on Penken, one minute walking distance to the ski bus, 3 minutes walk to the train station. All the dining venues are very close. The room is small but very cozy, nice home breakfast and extremely nice staff.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice view, very clean, close to the ski bus station. We had a problem with the heating system, but the host solved it even if it was Sunday evening.

We booked the apartment and were very satisfied with the choice - spacious rooms, lovely balcony with a mountain view, a nice kitchenette for our needs. Breakfast choice was varied and tasty! Very friendly and caring staff - and special thanks to the owner Magdalena!
