It's a very cosy and family-owned hotel with gentle, kind and very positive hotel stuff with manners, trying to make you feel comfortable, room was spacious enough, excellent wi-fi, lively evening bar downstairs, nice quiet and well decorated sauna part which was really a blessing, all amenities for sauna provided (slippers, bathrobe), room for ski equipment and heaters for ski boots, skibus is just across the street but I preferred using a car going to Saalbach ski resort.

Nice view, clean room, nice balcony. Very clean. The host left us instruction to check in even if we got there at 11 pm. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with smoking salmon, eggs, tuna, bacon, pasta, homemade cereals bread and many other types of food, meats and fruits.

We stayed facing the road and it was a busy road. On the flip side we enjoy the view.

Welcoming staff, despite arriving late in the evening with a last second reservation, everything was perfect. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Great variety of food served in a pleasant room with plenty of light and views on the nearby mountains

The breakfast was excellent. The spa and sauna area are nice. The rooms are not too large but nice and cozy. It's a short drive to excellent, spacious, and quite famous ski resorts, such as Kaprun—Kitzsteinhorn or Saalbach Hinterglemm. Good price-performance ratio, ideal for families who don't need/want a 4* or 5* hotel.

Excellent selection for breakfast, homemade butter and cheese, great for all generation! The food in the restaurant is also great for dinner. The wellness area is pretty relaxing, especially the sauna after a cold day outside. The family room is big enough, we also enjoyed the sitting area for great onverstion with friends. Lovely enteriour, nice for making memorable photos of the family. There is a separated room for storing and drying the ski gears. The longest sledge run in the world is 30 minutes from the accommodation.

We enjoyed it overall. Maybe the beds could be a bigger wider in the smaller room.

Nice location, tempting to have a walk in the village/hill. Complimentary water/fruit/tea at the sauna. Equipment available for drying ski boots. Super-nice and helpful staff. E-car charging available (using Stromladen app).

it was noisy but this is a roadside stop, what ran out at breakfast was not always replenished, bed linen and towels were not changed in 1 week

Great stuff, really tasty breakfast, extremely caring owners. Sauna and Restaurant added everything we needed after a skiing day. Very comfortable package overall

Everything was perfect

Breakfast was fantastic! :) And thank you for helping us with changes! Good location to Zell am See and Kaprun ski areas, including ski bus right in front of the hotel. Cross country ski trail right across the road.

Conveniently located TauernHex is excellent for the trips to Zell am See, Mittersill or to adjacent areas. The hotel is on the main road, and not far from the narrow gauge station at the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. Fantastic rooftop terrace offers superb views. Breakfast was exceptional, with a huge number of food options!

The main road in front of the hotel is a bit noisy in the morning.
