This is a perfect place to stay. Just 35 minutes walking from centre. And the public transport is just opposite to the hotel. And halal food options also available within 5 mins walk. The lady in the reception is very good. Her name. Is Shamz very friendly. And the man is also very kind. Our check in was 11.00 a.m but we went there at 8.30 a.m. they allowed us to check in . Very good place to stay in vienna. The couple room we stayed is very spacious

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the lady who was working there was so nice and friendly and helpful

There wasn't a blind on the window in the bedroom so it gets bright in the morning but we had eye masks with us so it wasn't so much of a problem. Also the shower head was broken, still worked and with good pressure just an unexpected direction of water flow. Easy fixes for the future. We were overall very happy with our stay

The hotel room in general was very clean, bed comfortable as well as a fully functional shower and came with bathroom supplies. Location not too bad, around 30 minute walk (less than if you go for it faster) to the core of the city close to the attractions (Votivkirche, Rathausplatz, Hofburg, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Karlskirche etc.) The people there also very down to earth I must say.

The room was very hot, which made sleeping sometimes difficult. (Even when I took my own portable fan).

She went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. The staff as a whole were remarkable - friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist with any request. Their dedication to providing top-notch service was evident throughout my entire stay. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were immaculate, and the common areas were consistently well-maintained. It’s clear that the staff take great pride in upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Moreover, the location of the hotel couldn’t be better. Situated in the heart of Vienna, it offers easy access to all the city’s attractions and amenities. And the best part? The price you pay for such exceptional quality and convenience is incredibly reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, my experience at Hotel City Residence was nothing short of exceptional. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Vienna. Before choosing this hotel, I read some reviews and saw a lot of dissatisfied people. The hotel is a 3-star one. Those with overly high expectations have no business staying here. From my point of view, the hotel met those 3 stars: it was clean, quiet in the room, even though my windows faced the road and the metro station.

Unfortunately, the room didn’t have air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. We didn’t receive hand towels, only bath towels.

I have been told that there will be a breakfast , but nothing. Otherwise, it would be good to put a microwave inside the cantine or serve breakfast that's a good investment for your business.

There was a dirty table in the cantine from Saturday, till Sunday no one cleaned it.

The room was quite big and the en-suite was spacious. There were two double beds in the room, and the mattress was comfortable, It was a good experience for a night only

the room was too noisy, there were road works at night and could hear the noise throughout the night, the window could not be closed properly and hence the noise, luckily I was too tired to be bothered

Amazing hotel very comfortable and clean room - just in-front of metro station and tram as well which makes the location very convenient. Shams the lady in the reception was so welcoming and helpful she was amazing. Will definitely stay there again.

It is in a very good location, right at a subway station and walking distance form downtown, lots of restaurants, shops and facilities within a short walk. Staff is very nice, seemed like a family business.

Rooms are clean but pretty old fashioned, most furniture and curtains unintentionally retro, the view from the room in to the busy Gurtel, so opening the window really increases the noise.

It is not a first time I am using this Hotel. It is very suitable for my travels. First of all I like Viener U-bahn. Thr Hotel is located in 3 min from U-bahn station. Connection with places I like on Vienna are situated in 15 min from the place

I have only positive emotions from my visit to the Hotel as Hotel's stфff is so friendly and kind that it covers all probable limitations.
