The SECOND room (007) was absolutely wonderful! It allowed property pace for luggage. However, I did not enjoy INSISTING that we needed another room. Especially when I was first lied to that there WAS NO OTHER ROOM AVAILABLE. Until I discovered on my own that there WAS indeed another room. That soured me just a bit.

The SMALL size of the FIRST room. (It was barely large enough for the bed let alone 4 luggage piece. My thought: When a couple flies close to 6,000 miles to Vienna with 2 large pieces of luggage, 2 carry-ons, and small personal bags-- a hotel cannot expect a couple to be happy placed in a room without property space for luggage. Besides, I had made the arrangement for this hotel in March. So there was plenty of time for planning for the right room.

Staff were friendly and helped with any requests. Room facilities were as advertised - toiletries provided in bathroom, rooms were made up daily. There were no extras like in other hotels, such as a safe, kettle etc but these were not advertised either. Even so, I requested one and it was provided (kettle). The location was great for me, easily accessible to city centre by public transport. Room was very spacious. Cheaper than most other hotels in Vienna.

The room needed additional cleaning as the fridge was dusty, under the bed needed cleaning too (I only know this as I dropped something under there and happened to look.) The rest of the room was however, very clean, including the bathroom. The breakfast was expensive so we didn’t eat at the hotel - if it was priced at 10 euros, it would be more competitive.

The location was amazing, close to the city center. Many major attractions could be reached by a 20 min walk or quick scooter ride. Many cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful and the lobby/front was beautiful. The rooms were very simple compared to the lobby, even the superior rooms.

Very limited parking available on the street. The hotel did offer parking for €25 a day at a nearby parking garage (6 min walk). It was very hot the first day we arrived and the room was uncomfortably hot that night due to a lack of fan or any circulation. Slept with the windows open but then got bitten by mosquitos all night.

Hi I would like to mention about breakfast service, it was not what I would expected. 1. Plate with vegetables ( tomatoes and cucumbers was empty) we have to requested on our arrival for breakfast. I haven’t seen a croissants only on first day 03.09.2024. Also no boiled or scrambled egg , sausages never enough for two people or another guest. If someone one from management would check that ,probably they would have plan how to improve service. Catering lady who looks after breakfast room , would be nice if she meets people when they enter the breakfast . I am not complaining but I never saw any service like this around Europe or world. All my comments are for your benefit. As I know you have a lot of people from EU and UK I am sorry if I was very honest. My regards

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Baronesse during my visit to Vienna. As a solo traveler, I booked a single room, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The room was cozy, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, with a charming classic design that perfectly matched the hotel’s elegant ambiance. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as a small desk, a minibar, and a well-functioning heating system, which made my stay even more pleasant. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to assist with any requests or recommendations. The location is another big plus – situated in a quiet yet central area, with easy access to public transport. If I had to mention any minor downsides, the bathroom was slightly small, but it did not significantly impact my overall experience.

The location is very good - within walking distance from main sights in Vienna, nicely communicated by public transport with the center and Wien Mitte (airport train) as well. I very much appreciated the kindness of the staff who let me check in early and get some rest after an early flight:) Although I booked a single room, I stayed in a twin which was quite spacious and nice. There was an option of breakfast for 14€, so that’s nice, although finally I didn’t use it as there are some pretty nice cafés around in Josefstadt:)

The room was clean, although it could have been cleaned more thoroughly - there was a bit of dust on the floor both in the room and in the bathroom (which could use some renovation). It was very loud in the morning - I think around 7 the trash was being taken out and you could hear everything louy in the room - there is no a/c so due to heat the windows had to be open 24/7:)

The location was excellent with easy access to the trams and bus. The room itself was well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful getting a taxi to the airport. A number of convenient restaurants in the immediate area. Everyone should check out the Kleines Cafe around the corner; great breakfast and great staff.

My only complaint was with the shower. Just when I felt I had the water temperature set to my liking, temperature would fluctuate between scalding hot to ice cold. I was there six nights and finally gave up running the water during my entire shower and just turned it on and off as absolutely required. Maybe it is their way of forcing us to be eco-friendly. I mentioned it to the staff but nothing changed. Old building with old pipes.

15 minutes walk to the road ring. Less than 5 minutes walk to tram and bus. Plenty of restaurants around the area. 30 minutes bus ride to vienna central station. Room is massive. With heater, fridge, TV and electric fan. The fan is noisy.

The reception is only until 2200. I stayed there for 2 days but they did not clean the room but they arranged the bed. I wish they cleaned the floor. They did not changed the towels as I requested. Toilet is small but does the work. Room is kinda noisy even thought it’s double glazed but not that loud. In acceptable volume.
