The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming and friendly and even welcome us with a ginger bread cookie which was a lovely surprise! The beds was especially comfortable and the bathroom was very clean! The hotel is very close to a lot of local cafes, restaurants and a supermarkets which was great, especially if you want to immerse yourself in the local cuisine and at a cheaper rate compared to the prices in the city Center!! Lastly, the hotel was very close to bus, trams and train stations which was great to travel into the city Center.

A lovely historical property that has been renovated to very high standards. The room and bed were great, heating in the room and bathroom was much appreciated in December. Ladies at the reception helped with directions and phone charger. There are a couple of Italian restaurants plus an Asian one and a bakery which were great for meals. Metro to the city is a 3 minute walk away.

I didn’t understand why 2 narrow blankets are given for a double bed - it was impossible to keep them on our bodies throughout the night and would inevitably fall off the bed several times during the night 😅; not ideal on cold nights..

Nice, clean room. Nice clean little bathroom. Personnel was very kind and helpful. We arrived early but we were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel while we visited the city. Good sound insulation of windows in the room. Street noise didn't bother us at all.

The lobby had the smell of an old house. I get it, the building is old, the tapestry/wall decorations are old. A lot of buildings in Vienna have the same smell. I wasn't particularly upset with it, I just noticed it. Good thing was that the smell was not present in the room since the walls didn't have any decorations.

Location was great for me since I could take the metro (1/2 block away) directly into the center of town while not having to pay the high prices there. My room on the back was quiet, the bathroom with tub was newer and the staff helpful. It is right next to the Schoenbrunn gardens.

As I expected, the hotel is a bit old fashioned which has its European charm and needs some updates especially in the decor. I didn’t have breakfast so I can’t judge that.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even gave us some Xmas chocolate at check in. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the bathroom was big and had spare tooth brushes, toothpaste and shaving razors. The location was perfect..5 mins from the train and trams to the city centre. I was very impressed at the service and facilities and will stay here again when we visit again.

Close to Schonbrunn, nearby food shops. Stayed for only one night.

We were staying for the night so that we could enjoy Schonbrunn Zoo on the Sunday, and for this the location was excellent. The hotel is a lovely old building and had beautiful high ceilings.

I thought that the cost of the breakfasts for children was expensive and therefore went around the corner to the Anker bakery and breakfasted for a quarter of the cost. Also the 3rd bed in our triple room was really uncomfortable and my daughter ended up in the main bed that already had two in it; I tried the bed also but it was really uncomfortable. The bed seemed to be some kind of fold out chair and had hard ridges along its length. I would recommend changing this and it then impacted our day in the zoo... we were all tired.

The location was even better than we expected, it’s close to the metro and we spent lots of time at the Schönbrunn Park. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and gave our daughter an activity pack on arrival. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect stay!

The location of the hotel is great - it's near Schonbrunn palace and the Zoo. It's also super near to a subway station. The staff at the reception was incredibly hospitable and helpful. The room was clean.

Just one small thing - there was water left in the electric kettle from previous guests and it didn't look recent, which stopped me from using it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great - really close to Schloss Schönbrunn and also to a subway station from which Vienna city center/main station are easily accessible. We also loved the building in which the hotel is located - very beautiful and classical. If I return to Vienna, I will definitely stay here again if possible!
