Historic hotel in a prime location. It’s classy and charming at the same time . The staff is exceptional and service level is high. Do order the breakfast, it is worth it.

Bathroom is on the small side

We were in the Parkhotel Schönbrunn for the night before our wedding and the night after our wedding. We had a suite with two separate rooms, so we could prepare for the wedding without seeing each other. Very beautiful room!

Both room keys couldn’t open the room anymore after the first day. The temperature in the tub/shower was changing a lot without any interference with the switches. The parking garage is too expensive and the parking spaces barely fit a small car (e.g. BMW series 1). The breakfast was also too expensive per person. There are great caffès around Parkhotel Schönbrunn, which provide a nicer atmosphere for a better price.

Breakfast was great. Lots of variety and beautiful room or outside area in which to eat. Staff was welcoming. Location is easy to get to the train station and lots of restaurants available in the area to eat. Hotel also has an outside lounge area, with couches and tables that is perfect for just relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I was quoted a price at the time I booked the hotel. At checkout I was told I wasn't charged enough. I owed another 12E. I was in a hurry to leave so never asked why, just paid the bill and left. So when you check in make sure you are charged the the price quoted.

I thought the food at the hotel restaurant was very good. I enjoyed all the meals that I ate at the hotel. The hotel was clean and the lady brought me towels and cleaned up a bit everyday! There was a little noise one night in the hall but other nights were quiet. I did not try the bar so no comment on that.

I purchased the Superior room which the photos indicated extra seating/chairs. The room they gave me was not the one in the photo. I unpacked anyway. I contacted the hotel and they said to see the people at the desk. I went down to the desk and talked to Abela who was very nice. She explained my room was in the old section and the rooms in the photos were the new section. She was very nice and said I could change rooms which I did. I just wish I hadn't unpacked first. That was my mistake. Anyway, I ended up with the room with extra seating and space and loved it!

large room with balcony, good-size bathroom (but no toiletries apart from soap, no bathrobe or slippers), large writing desk, comfortable bed very good breakfast buffet check-out time 12 noon great location (opposite Schoenbrunn Park & Palace), good public transport links (esp the U4 subway)

check-in was 15:00, but room not ready for another half hour (a complimentary drink/coffee would have been nice whilst waiting after a long trip) restaurant very poor: first the wrong main course was served, when the right dish was eventually brought the food was cold excellent internet connection but NOT secured

The hotel is grand and historic, with modern facilities and a great location—right next to the U-Bahn and Schönbrunn Palace Park. The room was clean, spacious, and located in a quiet wing as requested. Check-in was smooth, and city info. was helpful. Thanks to Mr. Mahad Iqbal Special thanks to Suleiman from Istanbul, who welcomed us with his warm smile, excellent guidance, and sharing of historical insights about the hotel and nearby landmarks. His genuine hospitality when he new were we came from was a highlight of our stay.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable AC didn’t cool properly No slippers. Tea/coffee weren’t refilled Some housekeeping noise during the day Curtains didn’t block sunlight well, hard to sleep. Bidets is a good idea

Location, just near Schonbrun domain, just over the street from a lateral entry, close to the zoo. The fact that we had a big enough family room for the children and us, and a nice and functional bathroom. Verry good value for the money, compared to other options for us in the same period. Very close to the subway. Great breakfast choices and nice restaurant staff, especially the "egg's" chef lady. I'd give it an 8.5 rating if I could. Might be coming back on a future city-break with the kids.

It's a big imperial style hotel, but it is showing it's age in some respects. Staff at the reception did their job but were not particularly friendly. My biggest annoyance was the air conditioning system: being very hot outside, I was glad it did its job, but it was rather noisy and it couldn't be completely closed; at its minimum setting, it was still starting randomly, and during the night this was really disturbing.

Location: The hotel's location is very convenient, just a quick walk from the metro station, plus there is a tram and a bus stop nearby. It takes around 15-20 minutes to get to the city center and slightly more to the business center. The Schönbrunn park with all its sightseeing is just on the other side of the road. Multiple places to eat are just outside the hotel. Hotel: The hotel interior is superb and gives a somewhat historic impression of the place. There is a quiet inner garden. Rooms: Rooms are big enough with great sound insulation. The beds are comfortable with 2 pillows of different sizes. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. Breakfast: Great breakfast with lots of choices, worth every cent.

Very nice place with historical motives. Wonderful breakfast comparable with best hotels in the world. Comfortable bed and chairs in the room. Kitchen offers delivery on the room till night. All ordered food was very tasty and well done served. We can really recommend. Location is perfect for visiting surrounded historical places. In hotel lobby is photo box machine for family pictures with Franz Josef picture in background, we appreciate. Generally we can recommend stay in this hotel. Next time we will accomodate here again.

In the wardrobe was not cleaned dust. But rest of the room was very clean. Underground garage has really narrow parking spaces which is complicated for family with kids.

Lovely old style Vienna hotel, marble floors and high ceilings. Room very comfortable. Location excellent

We were given a king bed on arrival despite booking a twin room. There was nothing we could get to eat (1045pm) so we had to leave and come back and switch rooms and it was very late. Reception man could have been more pleasant/ apologetic about it- he wasn’t at all! All other staff we met during our stay were very nice tho. Also the water in room wasn’t free and cost us 6.90 for 2 bottles in minibar ( we were desperate due to late arrival and reception just said use your minibar) These are just two issues we had but in general we loved the hotel!!
