Despite the things I did not like, this is a quality hotel, close to Schönbrunn Schloss and right at a metro station, but very quiet despite the location. The staff was very kind and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic. A huge selection of all kinds of food, with many vegetarian options. Tea was not so great, but I attribute this more to Wien itself, it's a coffee city. The bathroom wall has a small see-through window towards the beds. You cannot actually see anything, but the light is significant enough to wake your partner if you use the bathroom in the middle of the night (but at least the light does not come on automatically). Who designs these rooms, really? All in all, I may book again, staff, location and great breakfast are all huge pluses, but the air-circulation system made me sick. The room also has additional A/C - I did not need to use it, but it's there and it's not a given in Wien. There was a Billa and another smaller supermarket close by, just don't forget that on Sunday, almost all shops are closed. And as a vegetarian I would book the breakfast again - I only found one quality café (and another I chose not to explore) in a walking distance, but with not many vegetarian options and almost for the same price.

My bed had a larger dent in it, so I did not get much sleep. Would be lovely if you could check the bed close to the window in the room (437) I stayed in. Also, it's rather a personal preference, but the hotel has an air-circulation system to provide fresh air without opening the windows. You cannot turn it off, it makes the air very dry and can easily give you a cold/sore throat if you are susceptible to such illnesses. I am and returned home with a sore throat. But at least it was possible to open the window, so you could get actual fresh air. The bathroom was very modern but the wall needs a fresh paint. Wifi (WLAN) is only for members. I have unlimited data on my cell, but come on, in 2025...? This brand does not need this. This was just lame.

Beautiful hotel. Right next to the metro so we were able to get to anywhere in Vienna very easily but don’t worry the rooms are sound proofed enough that you don’t really hear the metro at night. The room was cleaned everyday and everyone we met at the reception were super nice and helpful. We were able to store our bags after checkout which was very convenient.

The bathroom has a transparent wall where the mirror is. Awkward when you’re travelling with a family member and annoying if someone needed to use the toilet at night since turning on the bathroom lights light up the room

Lovely BIG room, spacious, modern, big shower space, comfy couch, and nice large king size bed, with I MUST add thank goodness just ONE large quilt and NOT 2 separate quilts which is the case for most hotels in Vienna. Coffee, tea making facilities., a desk and chair to work on and also a comfy large relaxing pouf type chair. Close to all forms of transport, with a 15 min tube ride into the city. Also various shops and grocery stores and cafes close to hand.

The fact that my room was nowhere near the lift and I had crutches and actually had to walk along two corridors to get to it, I actually counted the steps to my room every time I went out and came back 108 steps every time. !!!! The room I stayed in was LOVELY and big, but was facing the main road traffic and underground station rail lines, so was extremely noisy all day apart from a few hours rest bite early morning hours, needless to say all the fumes emitted from the traffic, Would also have been nice to have had a mini bar, not just a fridge.

The staff was very helpful. Very polite reception. Always willing to help you. They will advise the places where to go, eat, and relax. It was very pleasant to receive a small cake and greeting card on the Birthday after me and my partner returned from the day walking. It was really delicious! Thank you so much 🙏 The additional wanted to mention that everything in the hotel was perfect. The room was very clean, the location of the hotel very convenient. The subway is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. I will recommend it to all my friends and definitely will stay there again!

We loved the breakfast and the very pleasant staff at the reception. Also, there is everything you might need to buy for your trip in and around the hotel.

The cost of parking in the hotel is IMHO very expensive.

The hotel was well located. Not the most hip neighbourhood, but quiet and close to the underground. The hotel was clean and spacious. The breakfast was of very good quality and extended.

There was however a lack of staff in the breakfastarea. They could not clean tables in time, so a lot of people had to go and sit at a table where the plates of previous people were still displayed. Staff could be a bit more friendly. They were helpful, but not with a natural friendlynes. When you came in the hotel in the evening, there was not a single helpdesk-attendant who wished you a good evening or not even looked at you and gave you a smile, which is a pity

Good parking. Great breakfast with a wide selection. Convenient location on a metro route. The Schönbrunn Palace is one metro stop away and can be easily reached on foot from the hotel.

If you come later for breakfast, it may be a bit difficult to find an available table. Noise from the hallway. Bathroom solution with sliding doors that are not soundproof. Dirty windows - i understand the hotel is near a busy street but the windows were really horribly dirty. During the stay, the route to the city center was out of service from the nearest stop, requiring a bus or a walk to the next stop - it would be nice to make guests aware of this difficulty.

The hotel is located quite close to the metro which is the best way to go around in Vienna. It is not in the touristic part but one can get to the central square within 15 min. There is a supermarket nearby( note that all supermarkets close very early in Vienna at 6-8 pm which was unexpected as I used to 24/7). Our room was of a good size and I asked for slippers and bathrobes( there were no in the room). There is a kettle and tea bags are available for guests. I quite enjoyed going to sauna after cold day. It has a nice street view. All in all, I recommend this hotel. The only issue is breakfast isn’t included in the price.

Breakfast is too expensive, go to Das Eduard for it. There are always lines for check in

Attending a nearby certification program, I had to work in the room all evenings - which was unfortunate given the great restaurants at Vienna. Nevertheless the room service was absolutely efficient, the delivery always in a very friendly manner and dinner was delicious. The set-up of the room and the bathroom is very convenient.

There is no comment I can make about what I didn't like at this hotel. It has been my second stay at the Vienna Renaissance and shortly I will have another certification module and the Renaissance will be my preferred hotel for the upcoming stay.
