The staff was nice, and helpful with our bikes and giving us a fan for the room. We loved the balcony overlooking gardens and interesting buildings- quiet too. Breakfast was great, with nice staff there as well.p, and we appreciated how early it was, so we could get cycling early out of Wien.

The staff and management are very pleasant and the breakfast is wonderful. Our rooms with balcony overlooking the garden was very pleasant. Our rooms were amply supplied and comfortable. The location is within a few blocks of strassenbahn and U-bahn. Grocery stores are also nearby and several good restaurants. The girl has 24 hour access and staff are always st the reception desk to answer questions. The rooms have very small refrigerators so cold storage is limited. Eating on the balcony is a quiet and refreshing experience. Tall trees are plentiful in the Hof and Doves are present.

Unfortunately, bugs were seen in two of our three rooms. The kind that scurry away when there is light.

I chose this hotel because it had an old-school Viennese "pension" vibe that I was looking for. The location in Josefstadt, was perfect for walking about the city, riding the tram, etc.. The breakfast buffet was very ample, and the breakfast room very nice. The hotel does not have ac, but they did provide us with a fan which helped make hot nights quite comfortable.

Although I had booked a two twin-bed room on booking.com, when we arrived in the evening we were given a room with one double bed. The person at the reception desk said that booking.com had not passed on our request for two beds and they had nothing else available for that night. The next day they moved us into a two twin-bed room for the duration of our stay. So I put this mistake on booking.com and not the hotel.

We changed rooms for extra Euros to a lovely large room with balcony overlooking trees and the garden below. Even saw a spotted woodpecker close up. Lovely bathroom and nice to have a mini fridge. We took all their beer etc out and put our own in! Breakfast was delicious and so much choice. Great coffee machine too. Lovely staff and quirky night staff. Would probably come back to same room 304.

Tea was dreadful for some reason. Twining but so used to good old Yorkshire tea. Can't beat it Pillows very soft and flat. Needed two each really

The shower (no bath) water was hot and the pressure powerful. Decent sized room. The beds were comfortable and linen spotlessly clean. Room was warm. An excellent buffet breakfast was included. Only about 10mins or so walk from the Museum district and a longer but still quite easy walk to Stephansplatz. Good neighbourhood restaurants very close. Staff brought a second pillow almost instantly. VERY quiet.

The decor throughout was rather basic and outdated. The bathroom was small. Our particular room had no view. Worth upgrading to a view/balcony in the summer. Couldn't work out how to turn off the radiator at night but the windows opened in a way that meant we still had good security.

Pleasant hotel with good facilities conveniently located close to U Bahn Rathaus and the Ringstrasse. Good breakfast, very quiet area, many nice places to have a lunch/dinner or just to sample a coffee with Viennese pastry, And above all, wonderful attentive staff. We had unexpectedly to extend our stay by 9 days (due to an emergency situation) and we were allowed stay in very same room all the time. Especially we are grateful Mr. Alexander Karl who went not an "extra mile but extra hundred miles" in order to help us.

The location was ideal for us, as it was within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit. There was a grocery store nearby, along with many restaurants and bars. The convenience of parking in the hotel’s garage was a major plus. We were also allowed to leave our car there a bit longer after check-out. Our room and bathroom were spacious, and the internet speed was good. Additionally, there were plenty of options available for breakfast.

There was no conditioner in the room. Surprisingly, it did not affect us too much.

Hotel Zipser can be summed up in one word “Excellent “ …… Superb location , 10 min walk max - to city centre and all the fabulous Christmas Markets. Bernhard and all his team will make you feel at home the moment you walk through the front door . Friendly helpful and courteous staff are a credit to Hotel Zipser . We had special dietary requirements which were catered for in full , which the staff went well beyond their call of duty to provide for and nothing was left out or a problem , it was done seamlessly . The Rooms , Delux Treble and single were spotlessly clean throughout. Showers immaculate , Great range of foods for breakfast, for every palate to enjoy . We all loved our stay here and will definitely be back in the future , I’d look no further for accommodation in Vienna , . The only thing in my opinion that is missing at Hotel Zipser is another Star ⭐️ definitely worthy of the 4th , Well done to everyone and thank you again for a wonderful stay .

All !!! Just amazing. The staff are super friendly and willing to help. I traveled with my 4 months old and they organized everything for me. For as requested and also a boiling milk that I did not ask for. I would highly recommend that

I stayed for one day, travelled to Budapest and stayed 2 more days. For the first night I booked an executive room, which is perfect and has Air conditioning. For the other 2 night I booked a deluxe bedroom, which does not have air conditioning. Both are the same price. It was actually my fault that did not realised that the second room did not have AC. I thought all rooms would have it. It’s just a heads up in case you wish to book a room with AC, pay attention to the description. Note: the staff were very helpful and provide me with a fan, which solved the issue. They also tried to move me to another room, but the hotel was full. I have no complaints.

Location was perfect for visiting numerous Christmas markets and close to many bus routes. Lovely complimentary warm fruit punch with gingerbread biscuits in the reception area of the hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast with lots of variety and good coffee. Room was a great size with balcony and view over the back garden, very quiet location. Plenty of storage space, power outlets and modern bathroom. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Zipser.
