The hotel is very close to several modes of public transportation and within walking distance of all the Christmas markets I wanted to visit during my stay. Despite its central location, the hotel was very quiet and I was able to get plenty of much needed rest after nearly 18 hours of travel. My room was very warm, clean, and comfortable with a shower and sink and the toilet right next door. The hotel breakfast had plenty of great options as well.

I came about 2 hours before check in and the man at the reception didn't offer to take my bags, so I carried them around while I got lunch and waited to be able to enter my room. I'm not sure if the hotel offers luggage storage, but that was a small inconvenience.

Excellent location, within a 5-10-minute walking distance from some of the main attractions in Vienna (Town Hall, Parliament, the museum quarter, some big parks, the Mariahilf shopping street…), close to the subway station (lines 2 and 3) and some tram lines. A big supermarket was close by as well. The staff were all very kind, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and healthy. The room was impeccably clean. Highly recommended!

We liked everything. The fact that there was a shared toilet was not a problem (as we had initially thought); there was never a line and it was always kept clean. Having a shower and sink in the room compensated for the shared toilet.

Very cheap for this quality. Very tidy, and clean. Very comfy and fresh. Free wifi, shampoo bottles, towels, safe, sink, clothes closet. Very nice for just less that 40 euro per night ( for a 2 bed room for 3 nights 225 euro) I dont understand people that are complaining about a 2 star hotel with a bed and towels. For less than 40 euro per night. And yes. For future visitors - read the description and ask questions. Its common sense.

There were no sockets near the bed. But that is the only one minus.

Great value for money! The place looks exactly like the photos—simple, clean, and cozy. It's in a fantastic location, which made getting around super convenient. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, and honestly, it was no issue at all. The facilities were always spotless and well-stocked. Breakfast was basic but had everything you need to start the day right: really fresh bread rolls, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Nothing fancy, but fresh and satisfying. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a clean, affordable stay in a great spot!

Everything provided was excellent. Clean throughout, nice bathroom and separate toilet close by on same level. Lighting, linen, handbasin in the room and great breakfast with staff attending. Card entry was easy, personal check in- and all for good value, Excellent.

We had nothing to complain about at all and wished we could have stayed longer. If you planned to stay more than a few says a kettle and cups in the room to make tea or coffee would be good and if you needed help with luggage on the stairs, as there was no lift, I'm sure that would be offered at times staff were attending reception.

The good breakfast with lots of choice, the location and quiet rooms at night.

Upon arrival, the male staff with glasses refused to give us a glass of water and coffee after a long night of travelling. When we arrived, it was breakfast time and we had the option included in our reservation. He was not friendly and told us to go to a coffee shop. He was not welcoming and was not a good host.

First of all: the hotel had absolutely amazing location in a beautiful area and within a walking distance from the old city. Great place to stay to explore the city! The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff is absolutely great, everyone was extremely friendly, very helpful and attentive to us as guests.

Nothing in particular, the breakfast might have a bit wider choice, but that is no problem, as you will definitely find something for yourself for a good start of the day.

Lovely staff, comfortable room. No kettle but i asked at reception and they gave me one for the room. A good selection for breakfast. On the last morning/my birthday staff brought a bottle of wine and some chocolates, completely unprompted, just from looking at my passport at check-in. Really really lovely touch and made my day. Gorgeous gothic building in a great location for transport and the main sights. Would stay again. Comfy beds

A bit unclean in places but didn't mind. Bed sheet was bobbly from washing it a lot.

The first thing to say is that Vienna is an expensive city to visit comparatively. This hotel -pension represented the best value for facilities and location that I could find. A reasonably fit person can walk to all the major central tourist attractions from this hotel. The Volks theater metro and tram stop is 10 minutes walk away. There is a very good, well stocked bio store in the same street as well as a Spar supermarket and some cafes and restaurants. Having breakfast available on site was a real benefit too. A map was supplied on arrival. The WiFi worked all the time. The room was resupplied and rubbish emptied daily.

Not didn't like, there was a fair amount of street noise during the night. Ear plugs are your friend.

We had a room with shared bathroom facilities. The beds were exceptionally comfy and the shared bathroom was very clean. We have been travelling Europe for a few months and it was the best shower we had so far on our trip. For the price we paid we were very happy. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable with any questions we had. Breakfast is also included in the room price! That was a welcome surprise. We will be back if we are ever in Vienna again.
