We stayed for five days and left very pleased. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very quiet, cleaned and refreshed every day, well furnished, efficient closet space, bed/pillows were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Our room was on top floor and had a great view of the museum quarter. Overall it has a great price/performance ratio.

The room was clean and very quiet and the beds comfortable, not too hard. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The location was great, walkable to most sights and the city center. It was a very pleasant stay overall.

Breakfast was the same every day (only the pastries changed) and didn't have enough variety. For example, there was no fish, hummus, salads, dips, pancakes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, or any fried potatoes or hash browns on the buffet. The fruit was unripe/hard every day (melon and kiwis). The coffee machine on the right side delivers only lukewarm coffee. I mentioned it every day, but nothing was done about it. The room was exceptionally small for 2 people, about 16 sqm. We received a partial refund as they didn't have the room category we had booked.

Very convenient location for metro and tram, as well as walking to city centre. Check-in straightforward. The room was large and spotless, with a modern bathroom. Cleaning standards excellent and our room was serviced during breakfast. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and staff were cheerful, tireless and efficient. They were a credit to the hotel. Bar staff were also most pleasant and helpful. Water available in lobby.

Reception could have been more friendly on arrival. Other reception staff better. The 'city view' room booked overlooked the empty courtyard and all inner rooms of the hotel. I queried if it was the correct room level, was told it was, but still doubt it, not worth the extra paid. Just one narrow window made it dull, requiring lights on all day. Bath towels well worn. Noise from nearby guests, not the hotel's fault, of course, and reception were very apologetic when I mentioned it, checking to see if those responsible were still there.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was very easy to get around, the subway and trams were two minutes away. Once we got our bearings we found we could walk everywhere. The staff at the hotel were all wonderful, from the front desk, to the breakfast room to the bar where we stopped to have a beer each night! Our bed was very comfortable. The bathroom spacious and the shower was good! The food for breakfast each morning was plentiful! Lots of choice! I would certainly stay here again !

Our room was wonderful with a magnificent view. We loved our room. Not overly spacious but comfortable enough. Thank you for providing 2 luggage racks. We loved the heated bathroom floor. Your breakfast room staff were fabulous adn very helpful (esp. Sarita!). The hotel's location was ideal. Your room cleaning staff did an excellent job.

Overall, I felt that the hotel was overpriced. I would not stay there again for this reason. The breakfast was just OK, in my opinion. It offered the basic elements of a buffet but wasn't that impressive. And your bath towels were terrible. Thin and not very nice.

The staff on reception could not have been more helpful and the staff on duty in the breakfast room were equally wonderful. It was never too much trouble to help me find where I wanted to go that day and give me advice about the transport to get there. The lady at the bar was equally happy to listen about the things I have done that day , and she even helped me with my bowtie when I was dressing up to go out for a concert one evening! The room was lovely and clean and the bathroom was particularly delightful and of course absolutely spotless. I particularly love having a bath when I go on holiday and the bath in the bathroom was the icing on the cake for me. It it is a shame that I gather the hotel will be closed for approximately a year while renovations are carried out, but I will certainly look forward to returning to this hotel after that time, as my experience here was lovely. The Maria Theresia is a pleasant hotel in a good area. The Museum Quarter is literally across the street. It's surrounded by good-to-great restaurants and bars, and is quiet. The air conditioning works very well - important in August, in a heat wave.

The Hotel is getting a little tired, especially in the public areas. There is, indeed, a bar, but it is in the center of the lobby and isn't very welcoming. The location is good, but not great. The closest tram stops are 8-10 minutes away, downhill. This means uphill on the way back from your long day at the Schönbrunn . Wear really good shoes. We think that the value just isn't there.

We were very pleased with the hotel's location. It is a three minute walk to the Museum Quartier, and a 10-20 minute walk to other tourist sites in the city center. The U-bahn and tram stops were also close by. It was also the perfect area to stay in for dining. There are a ton of options within a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the area is charming; it was much nicer staying here than staying more central, near the Cathedral or the Opera House, for example. The hotel itself was very nice and clean, and it may be the first time I have never heard other guests through the walls. There were lots of options as breakfast which was a nice, convenient and easy way to start the day.

Location was perfect, close to the History museum but away from the tourist hordes in the very centre. The hotel was perfectly placed for the Metro/Tram & bus network which is superb in Vienna. The room was spacious, bright, air conditioned and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English as necessary. The breakfast was exceptional, hot & cold choices and lots of them. I thought the hotel was fantastic and the perfect base to visit Vienna and the wider area.

Nothing we can think of to dislike, but I wish an earlier check in was given. We like to fly in the morning and it's not always possible to arrive after 1400. The hotel kindly safely stored our luggage, which was appreciated.

The hotel is very well located, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and allowed us to check in earlier, which made a difference for my son as he needed a nap. We were also given a room with view in the courtyard to avoid hearing the constructions on the street. I am very grateful for the attention to details like this. The breakfast was abundant in choices, and it never ran out.

It was no inconvenience, but I did not expect the minibar to be empty. As well it would have been nice to have some sort of information in room about facilities, room service and so on.
