Location super close to Haus des Meeres (5 min walk), Hofburg Palace (10 min walk), Museums Quartier (8 min walk&stairs). Also, in front of the hotel is the bus stop for 57A line, and metro station U4 (connection to Landstraße, city center and others) is at 5 minutes walk. Clean rooms (daily cleaned), radiators that heat the rooms, spacious wardrobes. The breakfast was good too, you can find everything you need (coffee, tea, juice, vegan food, omelette, eggs, bacon, jam, fruits, fruit compote, gluten free food, cereals, any kind of milk and so on). It was a nice vacation, good prices for a winter visit to Vienna

Our stay at Hotel Kolping Wien Zentral was great! The 24-hour reception staff was very kind and helpful. We were lucky to check in 4 hours early as a free room was available. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious enough for two people. Breakfast was delicious, though the fruit selection was limited (only apples, oranges, and pears) and not very fresh, along with the cucumbers and tomatoes. Tip: Go early (around 7:00 AM) to avoid waiting for a table after 9:00 AM. The location was excellent, with a SPAR supermarket and a beer shop with 1,000+ types of beer nearby. WiFi was stable, and the luggage storage was convenient, even for a week. However, security is your own responsibility. Overall, a very nice experience—highly recommended! 😊

Twice, at different times, a staff member opened our room without checking if it was okay to enter—this was very bad. Also, no refrigerator in the room—if you need one, it costs €5 per night extra, and there is no kettle available at all in the hotel. Because of these issues, I rated 9 instead of 10.

It was a great central location , perfect for seeing the city just 15 minutes from the museum district and 5 minutes from uncle lee‘s food market , the best buffet restaurant I have ever had pleasure of visiting as food is fresh and very tasty. Would recommend to those looking for a a nice break away . They do a good quality breakfast and they is a goods selection for the everyone to enjoy. The staff were great and were very helpful and room was spotless and beds were very comfortable.

The only reason 9 instead of 10 was lack of hot beverage making facility but this was flagged that there was none in the rooms as part of the deal so I am being a bit picky but it would have been nice to have a cuppa in the evening in the room.

The location is great!You just follow the road and it leads you straight to the city centre, within 15' of walking. We've booked one night only and we really wanted a place as close to the sights as possible. Breakfast was included and it was more than decent! everything was tasty and it had quite a variety to accommodate different dietary needs. All the staff were welcoming and polite. The room and the hotel itself looked and felt clean, good bedding and clean bathroom. There was no sight or smell of mold anywhere, it's something I always look out for. Although we arrived two hours earlier than check in, the room was ready and we checked right in. It's a really good option for an affordable and comfortable stay in Vienna. It's close to transportation, there are cafes all around, a supermarket next to it.

We could not lock the door, it might have been our mistake or the lock was faulty. We didn't feel unsafe at all though and to be honest i forgot to mention it at the front desk. Being there only for the night we didn't mind it that much. If it were for a longer stay I'm sure we would have figured things out!

Very central location to reach everything in the city within minutes (bus stop and super market right beside the hotel), subway three minute walk away, good neighbourhood, good variety of breakfast for its price/hotel stars. Also very friendly employees and a good value for the money spent.

It was very hot the days we stayed. While weather conditions aren't within the power of the hotel, however the rooms got quite hot. A better ventilation system would be nice, even if it is not for the rooms, hallways would be an improvement on its own.

We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. Everything was perfect- locations, staff, customer service and the room itself. There had range of options for breakfasts as well and they altered the menu everyday. Breakfast was lovely and worth it. Most importantly, we loved the location where the bus stop was near and all the shops restaurants were nearby and walking distance. Lastly, the guy in reception was very welcoming, kind and helpful. As we had a problem with the heater in our room and he ensured it was sorted by next day and provided us extra blankets. Highly recommended.

Nothing. Just my personal preference, it would have been better if the kettle with tea/ coffee sachets were provided in the room. Also more tv channels with English language.

I liked everything! Location is excellent, closed to the public transport and at walking distance from the old downtown where the main attractions are. There’s a market just 5 minutes walk too. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, without luxury bur they had the basic needs. Breakfast was very complete anf delicious. I would definitely come back again!

Maybe one small detail is that the room doesnt have a kettle.

The location was so perfect, it was so close to the city centre, and walking to the centre was very enjoyable for us because there is a lot to see and there is always new things to visit. The breakfast was good , and the hotel staff was so friendly and wellcoming, the room was more than expected acording to the pictures of the hotel.

Since we don't eat pork there had to be some more options for non pork eaters. Dhe room was clean but i think that at least the curtains have to be white because in the pictures it looks so dirty. The hotel identifies to much dhe LGBTI comunity and i think that the hotel should reflect on that if it is or not, one thing very much needed in the room is there is no hotel flip flops wich are very much needed. Also there has to have some HDMI cables so we can use our laptops and watch movies and stuff because the hotel has only German translatet chanels and there is no translation to English wich means the TV is technicly unusable.

Very good location, the public transport is very close, restaurants and bars are also very close, right under the hotel there is a grocery store SPAR, which we found very useful. The check in was easy and the personnel was kind. We found that breakfast was very good - you could chose from several types of cheese, ham, there were scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon or sausages, veggies, cereal, variety of bread to chose from, etc. And on Sunday we had pancakes! :)

The floor in the room could have been more clean. Dusty floors under the bed. But other than that - all good!

Basic, clean, quiet, comfortable and safe accommodation. Feels like a youth hostel or student accommodation. Rooms were a good size, en-suite shower room was spotlessly clean. Elevators available. Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and all delicious. Bus stopped right outside, metro was a short walk away but it was only a 10 minute walk to the opernring at Burggarten Staff were really helpful, there was a luggage storage room which we used on the day we checked out. There is a Spar supermarket in the building next door too.

No air-conditioning but a desk fan was provided.
