The breakfast was exceptional and extremely tasty, though I will say it is a little on the expensive side if you didn't have the bubbly, splitting it into two prices would help. Beds were super comfortable, the whole hotel was beautifully decorated and gave a feeling of luxury. The rooms were wonderfully warm and well appointed and the staff were amazing. The little garden out the back, the ease of access to the property, the location set a little away from the bustle but with easy access to walk into town, everything was a total joy. The shower was powerful and a rain-style shower with wonderful products provided each day.
Breakfast was a bit pricey if you didn't have the champagne, there was very little space to place folded clothes especially, and hanging space was limited. The open style of the toilet and bathroom was a little unusual to us (no door on the bathroom or toilet), and the shower near flooded the room for a few hours.

his was the highlight of our European trip—by far the most expensive place we stayed, but absolutely worth it. The building is full of charm and the atmosphere is wonderfully romantic. We were welcomed with a lovely drink on arrival, and both the host Filip and the amazing Argentinian receptionist on check out day made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. The location is quiet yet ideal, just a 15-minute walk from the Grand Place. The retro style of the hotel gave it so much character, and our room was simply beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, the copper bathtub was a dream, and the minibar worked on trust, which added a really nice personal touch. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail in both service and design made the experience feel truly special.
nothing - one note there were no vegan options for breakfast for my fiancé even if it looked incredible , we ended up eating out in Bruges—but honestly, this was a tiny detail in an otherwise impeccable stay and eating out in Bruges is so great too !

This turned out to be a beautiful hotel with a modest splendour. I really loved the use of wonderful materials and decorations. I absolutely cherished the copper bathtub and it gave me exactly the wellness me-time i was looking for. The staff was really accomodating even tho i booked last minute and i had a very specific shedule.
Altho i understand the practicality of it, i'm not fond of the need to use whatsapp to make arrangements. Not everyone lives with her or his phone. However, this is just a minor and personal peeve and overall it turned out to be useful, considering the very short time in which i arranged my stay.

The owner, Filip, was abroad during our four-night stay. However, his trusted friend Patrick took excellent care of us during the entire stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with champaign and a charcuterie board while being introduced to Bruges via map and stories. Our room was luxurious from the extremely comfortable bedding to the large, well-appointed bathroom complete with a copper soaking tub. Breakfast, optional, was romantic and delicious, served in the beautiful dining room. Patrick even cooked made to order eggs for me one morning! The location couldn't be better. It is mere steps from the lovely Smedenpoort old city gate as you cross one of the beautiful canals with walking and biking paths routed through the park-like area. While not in the city center, we were able to casually stroll there within 15 minutes. This allowed us to enjoy exploring the city without constantly encountering the crowds, especially on the weekends. Also, we weren't disturbed by the city noise at night. While we did not avail ourselves of all the amenities at Castelsuites, there is a fully stocked honor bar adjacent to the dining room and sitting area. There is also a lovely garden behind the gated entry between Castelsuites and the adjacent building. We may not return to Bruges in the near future, but when we do, we definitely will stay at Castelsuites!
Everything was wonderful. Our only complaint has nothing to do with Castelsuites. Being in late April, we had several days of rain and cool weather which "dampened" our spirits slightly. However, overall it was a great stay in a beautiful city and Castelsuites was a wonderful part of it.

Fantastic host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home! A gorgeously styled and decorated property both from the outside and throughout the inside. Fantastic location which was within easy walking distance of the centre as well as the train station which made it so easy to navigate! The bed was amazing and we slept really well! Loved the little touches of the coffee machine and chocolates in our room! The host Filip was so lovely and charismatic as well as the other staff! He provided great recommendations for our stay!
Honestly can’t really fault our time at Castelsuites and we would definitely return and check out the other amazing rooms! The only feedback I would give is that there isn’t much space to store our luggage in the room we had. The toilet location was a little different to what we are used to- might be nice to have a little curtain there

Near the town center of Bruges, this bed and breakfast is nothing short of a romantic haven. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Filip whose gentle demeanor and genuine warmth instantly made us feel at home. His attention to detail and clear passion for creating a welcoming environment set the tone for our entire stay. The interior of the B&B is simply breathtaking. Each room feels like a carefully crafted work of art, blending rustic charm with modern elegance in a way that’s both cozy and luxurious. Soft, ambient lighting, beautifully selected vintage furnishings, and tasteful décor create an atmosphere that’s both intimate and uplifting. Our room was immaculately clean and a window overlooking the center of Bruges. Every morning, the owner prepared a homemade breakfast spread that was nothing short of divine. Freshly baked pastries, seasonal fruits, and fresh orange juice made each meal feel like a special treat, especially when enjoyed in such a romantic setting near the fireplace. This B&B is the ideal choice for couples seeking a serene, romantic getaway. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, and every moment feels like it’s part of a story you’ll always remember. I can’t recommend it highly enough and am already looking forward to our next stay!

2nd time staying in under two weeks, but this time we tried a different room. It certainly didn't disappoint. The same elegance and attention to detail was carried through the entire building. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the room temperature is just right. Filip as usual was very welcoming, kind and attentive throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. It really is a must stay if you are coming to Bruges and want an experience in a classy, comfortable and 1st class hotel. We will only stay here on future visits. Well done Filip, you deserve all the success in the world. Brett & Fay

The hotel looked beautiful and the staff gave us an amazing welcome. The location is a short walk from central Bruges, in a very quiet and peaceful spot. The rooms are a stunning design - we stayed in the room called the Primitivo (the only thing to be aware of is that the toilet does not have a door). Overall, we had a lovely experience and woould recommend.
During the night, the shower drain began to smell - we managed to mitigate that by running the water but would be great if the issue could be fixed!

Filip, Nai and the team that include his son and wife who both cook in the restaurant are incredible. I am fortunate to have travelled to many locations and stayed all over the world and the service here is absolutely second to none. Attention to detail incredible and food in the restaurant absolutely beautiful. Filips ability and knowledge to pair wine with food is outstanding and my wife and I will be returning. I cannot fault anything about our stay which is now our second stay within three months.
Nothing.

First of all, we were VERY lucky to find a free parking spot at the "Randparking Bevrijdingslaan": people JUST left when we arrived. From there, it's a nice walk through a beautiful park to the hotel. The hotel is in perfect walking distance from the city center. It is close to a railroad, but in our room, we heard NO noise from cars or trains whatsoever! The hotel bar, lobby, and room are all decorated with so much style and (good) taste! Beautiful! Very soothing colors, matching furniture lamps, accessories, etc. Well done! The bed was VERY soft. I like my bed to be a bit firm, but honestly, this bed just "hugged" you! VERY comfy!! Our host, Filip, was such a friendly guy! We could drop off our luggage on the day of arrival and we had pleasant conversations throughout our stay! We like to see as much from the city as we can, so we tend to have breakfast "out", but it was a tough choice! It all looked so tasty and classy!
Our bathroom was up a few steps that creaked quite a bit. A little tricky if you don't want to wake up your better half during the nightly bathroom visit, but this is what you get with such a historic and characteristic building! Not too much of an issue!
