We managed to have breakfast outdoors one day and with the animals in the background it was idyllic The food at breakfast was plentiful - scrambled eggs freshly laid by the chickens at the farm. Our toddler loved exploring the playground Gwen provided a lovely clean and comfortable cot in our room and a high chair at breakfast for our toddler Loppem Castle, a five minute drive away, is worth a walk around and Speedy Snacks in the town was great for a quick dinner after walking around all day There is a supermarket five minutes drive away too for provisions

Prior to our arrival, we were provided more specific directions to the property to ensure we didn't have any trouble finding the farm. Upon arrival, we were informed we were upgraded and truly appreciated the extra space provided. Our children loved playing on the playground, throwing the ball with the dog, scratching the cat, and petting the sheep and donkeys. Breakfast was delicious and even our picky eater found several things to fill her belly. The location is absolutely ideal for travelers who want to be close to the city but also crave the quite country life. We are looking forward to returning!

Nothing. It was wonderful!

We had the most gorgeous room, so cosy and welcoming after a long day and stormy weather outside. Everything in it had been chosen with love. Breakfast was great-freshly cooked eggs and lots of fresh bread and pastries. Nice host who was very helpful. I would definitely return.

It was all pretty good, location is a bit out of Bruges so don't expect the city on your doorstep. We drove to Centrum Station (7mins) and parked for free on a nearby road. Then it was a pleasant and easy 15-20 min walk to the city centre.

I liked the location, the nice room, the surroundings. The breakfast was really good, fresh prepared. The host was extremely nice and really taking care of the guests. I liked the proactive communication. We got messages with the information about the stay. Everything in the room and in the dining area is done with love to the details. (see attached photos. For the families with small kids there is a playground. Location is very close to Brugge (just 5 min drive). But definitely it is location where you need a car.

Actually it is not about something totally wrong, but ... The description how to find the location has to be more detailed since you go of the main road and the houses are quite far away from the road. There is a small sign pointing there but easy to miss it. What we were missing is in the bathroom, shower area anything to put the cloths and to put the towels. Some hooks on the wall close to the shower and close to the washstand would resolve the issue.

The breakfast was excellent. Really enjoyed the cosy breakfast area and the very luxurious food. Nice coffee or hot choco, fresh fruit salad, fresh orange juice, an egg made to your choice... everything was there. PS: the breakfast is not included in the price, which was not so clear on the site of booking.com. The host was very friendly, she really made an effort to make us feel welcome.

Because of the remote location they have to pump their own water out of the ground. To make it drinkable sulfates are added, which is fine but it gives an odor to the water. Our bathroom had a curtain instead of a door. We stayed with the family (2 adults, 2 adolescent children). Privacy was ok, but not optimal.

The owners were just lovely! We arrived far earlier than planned but they were so welcoming and let us into our room early anyway. The lady was so helpful and informative. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous, a quiet farm out the way, but still easily accessible via var or foot. The animals were beautiful and we had so much fun playing with the dogs- we love dogs but the owner had asked whether or not were were OK with them and offered to put them inside if we weren't. The room was absolutely stunning, shower was perfect and the bed was super comfortable. There's a fridge in the room stocked up with drinks, and a coffee machine (some thing are complimentary and some chargable). Overall, we had a great time for my partners birthday weekend trip, and would definitely book again!

There is nothing we can complain about.

Great stay in a fun apartment that has all the things we needed for a visit to Bruges. We enjoyed the farm ambiance and comfortable beds. Breakfast was yummy and host was very nice.

Just be careful not to let your kids eat anything in the apartment when you first arrive. We realized just in time that all the items were extra costs.

The location is very special and beautiful, we didn’t expect to stay in a farmhouse, it was quite a surprise. The rooms are comfortable and clean and nice decorated. The air is fresh and all the animals create a specific atmosphere. The dog, in particular, was very weloming to us. 😃

It is expensive.

The breakfast was delightful although I was surprised it was an extra cost. The setting was so beautiful with all the animals. Welcome relief from the bustle of the city.

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of (and a common theme in multiple hotels) is the open top bathroom. I prefer bathrooms to be completely private. But that’s just our preference!

the property is renovate to high standards. the host was very welcoming and accommodating, Breakfast was excellent, lots of options, though not a buffet. Crepes and eggs made on demand, very good coffee. It was nice to have a playground and animals around.

It would have been good to have breakfast included in the price of the room
