The hotel is located nicely near the city center with all the antique architectural sites, and it is also not far from the main railway station by walking. The hotel exterior is very pleasant for the artful eyes, and the room is simple, but very, very comfortable. The breakfast is healthy, and the coffee is good. Thumbs up for the girl at the reception on the late afternoon of the Sunday who recommended the best friterie of Belgium!

Location as near the railway station and only a short walk to the city centre Access to the pool in the Novatel

The door keys continually stopped working and you would be able to go up in the lift but then find out the door would not work so you had to go back down and outside to go to Novatel to get the key reconfigured. We stayed at the Ibis Stopera in Amsterdam following this stay and had no issues with the keys . Poor supply of tea /coffee in the room. No safes in the room but I understand there are to be lockers in the foyer once the renovations complete. Reception were able to put some items in the hotel safe for us .

We were travelling as a group of eleven cyclists. The hotel looked after our bags which were delivered early by taxi. They had enough twin bedded rooms as required. These were modern and well equipped. Although they didn’t have any secure storage for bicycles we were able to lock them in the courtyard close to a window overlooked by the permanently manned reception desk. Reception staff were excellent. Hotel is modern and spacious with a lovely atmosphere and very good location close to the heart of Bruges. The breakfast was superb and very fresh. Rooms were basic but comfortable.

There could be a sign in the foyer of the Ibis Styles Hotel to the reception desk which is across the courtyard in the Novotel which is also where the bar and breakfast room is located.

I like how ibis is always a reliable place to stay at wherever I go. The staff was friendly and gave us a card with discount coupons that we could use in town. It's pretty varied; I'm sure there's something for everyone. The room was very quiet, shower was hot, bed was comfortable. The A/C worked very well and there was also a fan plus a large window to keep the room cool. Pricing is honestly a little wild but it's right in the center of town and you can't really drive anywhere. So it's justified.

The hotel didn't have staff at the desk so we had to check in at Novotel across the street. There were holes in my pillow case. The toilet was positioned a little awkwardly with your knees touching the wall when sitting. Bath tub is small for an adult. The water from the faucet didn't taste particularly good. I would only use it to wash hands.

The location was brilliant for those arriving by train and the local area was quiet. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated too. The decor was simple and the room was generally comfortable and suitably appointed.

The hotel itself was quite noisy, with banging doors and noisy bathroom extractors which couldn't obviously be turned off. The breakfast was €25 if attending on the day which feels very expensive. Our room must have had a window left open before our stay as there were a lot of insects flying and we were bitten in the night.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel which is in easy walking distance to the city centre of Brugge, the nearby restaurants, bars, shops and museums. Due to refurbishment work we had use the Novotel hotel facilities for breakfast and restaurant and bar services.

Sadly the hotel is going through a full refurbished (starting December 2024) bar or restaurant aren’t open, we advise booking the Novotel Hotel that is opposite until the Ibis reopens spring 2025.

Very well located, center. Very clean. The room faced a quiet street. It has the self-check-in option as well, however there was also reception staff which was very friendly. We had booked only one night as we had to continue our journey and I think it's perfect for a short stay.

It's not the hotel itself, but the people staying in the hotel who were very noisy passed a certain hour. Very disrespectful to speak loudly on the hallway. Maybe some signs would help to remind guests about the comfort of others.

Location was fantastic, close to the free shuttle bus stop. Check in was exceptional; even though we had to go into the Novatel to check in the staff member was fantastic. He was very friendly, didn't feel rushed despite a small queue, he also explained everything in detail with no pressure for add-ons. Room was an acceptable size and the bathroom had duel shower height. View of the church was an added bonus.

Limited tea/coffee supplies, so had to make an extra journey over to the Novatel to get supplies.

I am familiar with the IBIS Hotel chain so knew approximately what to expect. The hotel is located in a quiet piazza, opposite the Novotel, where you had to check in. The reception staff in both hotels were very friendly and extremely helpful. I was allowed to park my motorcycle outside the reception window for security which was much appreciated. My room was quite spacious with a view across a row of classic Flemish town houses. The bathroom was clean and bright with the best smelling shower gel I have ever used in a hotel, awsome! Breakfast was served across the piazza, in the Novotel, in a bright modern meeting/breakfast room, the buffet was extensive with a good mix of hot, cold and sweet options. The 'main square' was a gentle ten minute walk away with most of the familiar attractions also within walking distance of the hotel. The IBIS is a little gem, right in the heart of the old city. I will definitely try and stay at the IBIS on my next visit.

Nothing, all good.

The property is very much in need of updating which I believe is due to be done later in the year. Saying that the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice for everyone.

The booking in, breakfast and the bar were across the courtyard which isn’t ideal. There were very few plugs. The hairdryer was quite poor and there was no plug by the mirror or styling your hair. Also there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Despite all the down sides due to the need for updating I really enjoyed our stay.
