The hotel is absolutely beautiful and we had a very happy and comfortable four night stay. I would love to return. The room was charming and comfortable, and the bathroom perfect, with lovely toiletries. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and obviously spoke very good English. The location is fabulous - really close to the centre and right next to the canal. Rooms have sound proofing so noise wasn't a problem.

The hotel's new restaurant didn't cater for vegetarians, which was a pity as we would have loved to have eaten there. I was also initially surprised that the room was much smaller than the photos suggested!

Lovely hotel, situated very centrally, just a stones throw from the Belfort tower. There's an interesting display of signed photos in the entrance that showcases all the people that have stayed there over the years - yes, it does include Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes - but also includes the King & Queen of Belgium! Our room was spacious and comfortable with a fabulous view over the canal, and the bathroom was well appointed with a full bath as well as a great shower. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, with a special mention for Nicholas, who ran the fabulous, cosy, little bar/lounge and answered every question and dealt with our whims with grace and a smile every day. Really enjoyed our stay, a 4-night long weekend, and would definitely recommend De Tuilerieën to everyone visiting Bruges.

My only small gripe was that the mattress was a little on the hard side, but that's a personal preference thing, your mileage might vary. The other thing is my usual rant about pillows, in that why are all hotel pillows - without exception - so rubbish?

The location is fantastic and our room was beautiful. Hotel was quiet and felt very luxurious. Bed very comfortable and huge shower! Lovely welcome chocolates and a complimentary room upgrade was very much appreciated, thank you so much!

My only negative point is that the bathroom light was on an automatic sensor, which turned off after 20 seconds. This means when you are in the shower the room goes dark and you have to wave your arms around to turn it back on.. reception staff were very friendly but seemed surprised by this, surely other guests have commented on this? Also if you do not close the bathroom door the light turns itself on in the night if you have a window open.

We loved everything ! Beautiful building by the canal in historic Center of the city. It attracts attention immediately with it elegance and sophisticated style. We later knew that the city guides bring tourists to show them the hotel building. It was built in 15-th century, renovated in 1780 and now became stylish , elegant, modern hotel , delicately and prudently renovated. Interior of the hotel matches its outside elegance: beautiful lobby, historic bar with the fireplace and antique fourniture. Style is in everything, yet it feels like home from the moment you enter.Friendly , polite and helpful stuff. Amazing, spacious, light, stylish room with breathtaking view at the canal. Large bathroom in white-gray marble. Wooden floor, big windows, high ceiling, great bed and fourniture and bed. Everything is spotless-clean.Great smell all over hotel. Building is amazing. Breakfasts are so nice: atmosphere, food, location, terrace , fantastic service ! We truly loved the hotel, the Team! Thank you!

The location is very central and has a beautiful view of the canal and church. Everything was walking distance and it was easy to locate. The room was very comfortable, stylish, and cosy. It was spacious and had everything we needed included nespresso coffee pods in the room. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and even provided a card and chocolate upon arrival because it was our anniversary! We would highly recommend staying here!

It was difficult to turn down the heat in the room even with the radiator off as the windows didn’t open. The pillows were comfortable but a bit small.

We paid for a room with canal view which was well worth it. The room was large, comfortabe, quiet and well appointed. The staff were really helpful but discreet. The cosy bar, light and airy breakfast room, and peaceful patio were all lovely. The breakfast was excellent, lots of options hot and cold and all super fresh. A restaurant is opening September 2024. Great location, an oasis of calm after a busy day sightseeing.

Two rooms only have baths not showers, so if you really want a shower, make that clear. I had not realised that when booking, that could have been made clearer. Apart from that stay was amazing I could not fault anything.

The hotel is very tastefully decorated, lobbies and and rooms in a great location close to most of the sights in the city centre. It would have been nice to check in before 3:00, but this seems to be somewhat typical in Belgium. Staff were pleasant, welcoming and always helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet with comfortable beds and bedding. The room was nicely decorated, being under the eaves maybe slightly small,, but mostly comfortable. There were some mostly minor maintenance issues, but otherwise a very nice overall stay and would definitely come back.

The maintenance in the room and bathroom was generally ok (room #339) but there were some areas where chipped paint in the room or peeled paint and caulk in the bathroom behind the mirror, a loose sink faucet, a tub that did not drain properly, and a leaky hand sprayer in the bathroom, etc. could have been better kept up ...

The hotel was right in the center of old city, in a few minutes of walking distance from all major attractions. Our room had a view on one of the canals, not the cheapest but worth the view and the room was superb. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, one of the best we ever experienced. The hotel offers parking (for a fee) if you happen to travel by car, which is uncommon in the old city.

The hotel was undergoing renovation and extension, so some of the facilities were not marked and hard to find. A new restaurant was under construction, but a minor inconvenience given that so many restaurants are in the area.

top class hotel in fantastic location by one of the classic Bruges canals; no more than a 5 minute walk to any of the main attractions in town. Service was outstanding, room was comfortable - no chest of drawers to store clothes and room was sparsely decorated. Not really a criticism- more of an observation. Did not eat in the restaurant as we dont need Michelin-star type food. But ... all in all a lovely hotel in a perfect location in a charming city

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Bruges, walking distance to literally everything. Boat trips nearby as the hotel is on the canal. Loads of restaurants, bars, shops, the Belfry; a beautiful city to visit. Easy to park in the hotel car park. Very friendly staff. We were greeted outside 😃 Breakfast was excellent and the bar was lovely. Room with balcony perfect. Breakfast staff, reception staff and bar staff all particularly friendly. We have stayed in lots of hotels and we think this was the best!
