When we arrived we was made to feel very welcome, The staff were very pleasant and the check in was quick and efficient. The hotel itself was very clean and fresh the room was bright and beautifully decorated with soft colour scheme and the exposed support beams were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom done to a high standard modern and clean.Upon check out there was a misunderstanding as regards to the room I booked and the room we was given was actually a considerable amount more expensive. The reception manager Susanne dealt with this very professional and thankfully realised the confusion on both sides.I can’t thank her enough for the way she handled the situation and would like to think the hotel hold her in high regard as we would certainly stay in the hotel when we visit in the near future.

Nothing bad to report.

I stayed at Martin’s Brugge from 31st July to 1st August. The hotel has an excellent location, just steps away from the Markt square and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. It’s a perfect base for exploring Brugge. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay. The bed was good, and the air conditioning worked well, which was great during the summer. Staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth.

Parking is available but quite expensive, which is something to keep in mind. Good thing they already warned in advance so I could use other nearby public parking.

Location is great, the breakfast had good and diverse options. I also liked there was a Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby. I kind of liked that there is no minibar in the room and instead there is a small 'shop' in the lobby. However the prices are a bit high (almost 4€ for a 0.5l bottle of water). It was great to see they use wooden key cards to limit the plastic. It was also very well isolated so no sounds form the hotel or street disturbed my sleep.

The room and the bed I had were tiny, fine for one person but I can't imagine how 2 persons could share the bed. I would suggest to also have floor towel policy - they were all changed every day even though I didn't leave them on the floor.

It's in a fantastic central position next to the Belfort, so easy to come back to the hotel during the day then carry on exploring. The staff were really nice and helpful. My room was upgraded on arrival which is their policy if they can. The room was good,, minimalist in decor which I liked and had everything I needed, hanging space, safe, coffee pod machine, basic hair and body wash in bathroom, central heating which I could control. There is a small self service shop in the lobby with food and drinks which was handy. I would stay here again, it was great.

I would struggle to find anything I didn't like. Perhaps firmer pillows

Location is a few steps away from the main square and shopping areas. So many eateries in the area too. Location is close to all "must sees". Staff are extremely helpful and could not do enough to help. Breakfast was exdepyional. So much choice. Lots of fruit, pastries and hot food. It was well stocked and staff ensured tables were cleared quickly. Cleanliness was good. Beds comfortable. Towels, although a little small, clean and soft. Bedrooms sparse but enogh space to store a weekend case and clothes.

Bedrooms clean but little in the way of decor. Minimal was obviously brief to interior designer.

We arrived around 1:30pm and we are early for the check in time of 3pm so left the luggage in the luggage room and had lunch. When we come back after 3pm, our room is not ready yet so we have to go out again and walk around town. To make up for the inconvenience (which is not really much) they have given us free breakfast vouchers for the family. It was really nice gesture and great effort from the staff to make sure we are going to enjoy our stay. True enough! We love Bruges. One of our favourite city in Europe.

Let’s start with the location because it’s excellent. The hotel is located directly behind the Belfry of Bruges and therefore in the heart of the old town. The hotel lobby is spacious, clean and modern and has a mini market and Starbucks coffee machine. Entrance to the parking garage is there as well. Rooms are ok. Everything you need is there. Beds are ok as well but the mattress a bit too firm. But that’s a personal opinion of course. We had a room on the front of the hotel looking over the street and the back of the Belfry. Nice but noisy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking garage is located beneath the hotel. It’s not big but even with a larger car relatively easy to get in and park.

The rooms are not soundproofed and in the night you can hear other guests coming and going and starting early morning (at least on weekdays) cars and trucks either passing by or restocking the shops. Soundproofed windows would’ve been nice tbh. Beds are ok as well but the mattress a bit too firm. But that’s a personal opinion of course. We had a room on the front of the hotel looking over the street and the back of the Belfry. Nice but noisy.

Location is unbeatable for the prices but that is essentially what you’re paying for anyways. The breakfast was fine but you’re literally steps away from amazing restaurants and waffles for breakfast, there is no real reason to pay for the breakfast. The staff were EXTREMELY nice and professional - the room was comfortable and quiet. Big bathroom.

Check-in was delayed and no discount offered. If I am unable to check-in promptly at the stated time allotted to me as a paying customer, I should be compensated in some way. Additionally, there were very foul smells in almost all the hallways with rooms. I am assuming it was sewage/rain water but not entirely sure. We ran the A/C and open windows in our room for a little bit and after about 10-15min there was never an issue of smell again in our room at least.

Decent hotel in a really good location. Very basic facilities and rooms (not even a kettle in the room for example). The beds were okay. The double was 2 beds pushed together rather than one big bed. The location though is amazing so that was perfect for going around the town and exploring. Nice staff, clean rooms. Parking garage is a 5 minute walk if you choose not to park at the hotel.

It wasn’t exactly a cozy hotel and lacked a bit of character. Great for a quick, no frills overnight stay.

Location was amazing, ideal for those who can’t walk too far. Beautifully clean and staff very welcoming

I had been allocated a room for disabled guests The room was a very good size BUT There was no working heating in the bathroom at all. Despite several requests for a repair or alternative heating for the room and several promises from reception that they’d get it sorted —————- nothing happened over the four days we stayed there. There was also a distinctly unsavoury ‘stink’ from the shower drain which never went away at all. Sad, because the rest of the hotel was brilliant and I’ll certainly go again, just NOT in that room
