The hotel and rooms were lovely and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very nice. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast choices. The Location and view from our room was amazing. Really loved this hotel and would stay again.

Kettle or hot drinks making facilities in the rooms would have been lovely. The beds kept slipping apart but they are very comfy so could live with that. Can be noisy outside from around 6am from the trucks delivery food etc to all the restaurants. Depsite the above I would stay here again the hotel was amazing.

I normally opt for stays that have kitchenettes so I can save money by making my own coffee and breakfast, so, choosing a "hotel" was not typical for me, but the Central had the best price. The location was awesome, right on the main square and across the square from the Bruges Belfry. The rooms were either brand new or recently renovated. All the furniture and fixtures were in new condition and, unlike almost every other janky European place, the water fixtures were straight forward and easy to use. The staff was excellent and let me make my coffee downstairs in their ground floor restaurant. Although I did not opt for "breakfast," there was a great spread every morning and they let me have a little scoop of yogurt with granola for no charge.

In general, I found Belgium housing to be expensive.

We came to Bruges to see the Champions League against Juventus (we are English-neutral football fans) as well as enjoy some sightseeing. The hotel is in a great location on the corner of the historic square just above the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and we ate at the restaurant which had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was good and it was nice to chat to some Juve fans who were stopping at the Central too (sadly the game was 0-0 bore draw)

It feels like it is just establishing itself as a hotel and at the moment there isn't a reception as such. The rooms lacked "character" when compared to the historic area. They appear very recently constructed and quite basic in style - though perfectly clean and adequate.

Hotel Central is located right in the heart of Bruges and is absolutely the place to stay if you want to explore the city. The price is quite reasonable considering its central location. The breakfast is also ample and satisfying. Finding the entrance is not difficult; just look up at the signs and enter through the middle of the restaurant. The doors close at 11 p.m., so it’s a good idea to remember your key. Everything is within a 10-15 minute walking distance at most (even to the farthest spots). The hotel staff have been there for a long time, so they’re very helpful in every way. The room size is adequate, especially if you're staying for a short period.

The only improvement could be better heating in the hotel room. The bathroom in our room had a radiator set to quite a high temperature, but it wasn’t entirely sufficient for the room itself. We weren’t freezing or uncomfortable, but it would have been nice if it were a bit warmer since Bruges is a rather cold city. Other than that, I think everything was fantastic.

The hotel is not a typical hotel as there is no lobby / lounge etc. You walk through the resturant and a staff member gives you the key and explains the house rules. The rooms were good, quite basic but VERY comfortable, the bed was one of the best I've slept in. The shower was great and the bathroom is big. There is no coffee, tea or kettle or room service but that didn't bother us. The location is fantastic, it's right on the square, convenient to everything, what it lacks in amentities makes up for in location. There are plenty of restuarants to visit for breakfast/lunch or dinner but the food we did see at the hotel looked great.

It didn't affect me but if you had reduced mobility, there isn't a lift and a few stairs to the first floor.

A fantastic hotel with super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was also fantastic, one of the best meals we had during our stay. The view from our room (shown in photo) out over the market square was breathtaking at any time day or night, would definitely recommend the upgrade to a market view room.

Standard rooms don't have tea and coffee making facilities, though the staff were always happy to make a tea or coffee at the bar to take up to the room.

We stayed here last year and happily stayed here again. We absolutely love this hotel, we have no complaints about anything. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room is fantastic and the food is wonderful. Naturally you are in the centre of a city, there will be noise from outside of the hotel. This is out of the hotel’s control and does not affect our stay or our review. Thank you for another lovely stay, we will be back to stay with you again.

Very good location, right on the main square. We had a premium room with a comfortable bed. It was quiet despite being on the busy square. There is a supermarket around the corner and loads of places to eat.

It's not really a negative as we knew about it but this hotel does not have a reception. So if you are looking for 24/7 service and help with recommendations etc. this place does not have a front desk. They offer comfortable and clean rooms above their restaurant; that's it.

The location is excellent, opposite the market square, which is difficult to find. The room is comfortable and suitable for two people. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is very complete and worth it. The place's advertisement is sincere, it does not promise services that it does not have, when deciding it is important because one knows what one will find and there are no unpleasant surprises.

Having to enter through the restaurant can be a bit annoying but nothing to worry about too much.
