We had an extraordinary stay at the Thermae Palace Hotel last week and this week! From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect and pleasant, including the car park... The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were outstanding. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the breakfast buffet each morning was delicious and had great variety. We would definitely return here, as we did before the covid pandemic, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience.

The Staff and hotel in general was Wonderfull the room was a nice size and the breakfast was superb the best I have had in a hotel with everything you could ask for , we had a evening meal at the hotel and this was also perfect I would definitely stay again

The hotel is being upgraded this is a big job I remember this hotel in its glory days but over the years it got run down its now being upgraded but being such a large building it will take time it in a wonderful location and the staff are perfect, the room was very very hot and we had to open the windows to cool it down we could not sleep Because of the heat, it was a shame because it must be expensive to heat a room specially when the weather is cold outside and the shower was in need of descaling having said all that we love the hotel and would stay again

Hotel is in an excellent location, the staff were very friendly on each of my two visits, very accommodating when extending my room.

The adjacent sections of the hotel are in a very poor condition, although this doesn't impact the actual hotel, as they are attached to the hotel it can look a little run down. I am not sure if they are owned by the hotel or not but its a shame as this detracts from the appearance of the main part of the hotel.

the check in was perfect. we arrived early and asked if we could leave the car in the carpark and return. Our room was ready so we were given the keys. The restaurant accommodated us well, we left it late to book a table but they found space for the first booking for a limited time which suited us fine as we had tickets for a 20.00 show. The room was very clean and a stunning view, not overlooked at all so was able to leave the curtains open all the time so could see the night sky. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice.

all was better than expected

The location is excellent. You can walk through the beach and have lunch or dinner at many restaurants nearby. Major commerce is also within walking distance. It is a very nice place for a calm stay, especially if you love walking and watching the sea from your room. We enjoyed the sunset from our room, and it was really amazing. Public transportation is also very close, and they have parking at the premises.

I could not connect my mobile phone to the TV, so on a rainy day, it was just HBO Max on my mobile phone. We also let the window partially open during the night, and mosquitoes hit us. The language barrier is considerable. Not all signs were in English, so we got lost trying to get to the breakfast room, but all the employees were very nice and provided directions. There are no instructions on how to use the phone or call reception. It wasn't also very easy to use the vending machine with instructions in Dutch... but once you hit the small yellow button, you can even pay by card. Get your Google translator application with picture mode activated and ready to translate from Dutch, and you will be fine.

Everything went well from the welcoming till the check out, very friendly and supportive staff. The hotel is nicely situated the room was specious, the bed comfortable, all very clean and a really good breakfast. Although the hotel has some signs of age it has its Charme. I was on a business trip and could relax after visiting a fair as it was a very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. I would book it again.

Grand building located right on the beach

I needed to do some work after checking out of the room and there didn’t seem to be any where to get a tea or coffee and set up a laptop. I did my work at some tables by reception but it wasn’t comfortable and felt more like a transit hub than a lounge and I can’t recall any other hotel where they don’t have a lounge for use after checking out

Perfect location, right at the beach, one can step out from the lobby to the beach, perfect sand, clear water. The building architecture of the hotel is very impressive. The tram going along the entire coast is only a few steps away.

The building, whilst impressive as stated below, is actually in desperate need of some renovation and investment. It is basically a palace from a past era, now past its prime. The price of the room was too high, 300 Euro, because breakfast, spa, and parking was not included.

it was very great breakfast with unattended food ( very good ) all the people are very kindly and also the women for the breakfast. room really good to stay and also kindly crew to answer if you have question thanks for the stay of the 60th birthday of my wife it was a great experience there. also mail exchange with booking and hotel was really good because I've forgotten small details. and they arrange it quickly.
